Last year I had a highly sexist sewing teacher. Sewing class was mandatory for my grade. My teacher, let's call her Ms. S. She was an older woman probably around retirement age. Majority of the sewing machines in the sewing room were highly outdated, and broken; probably older than my parents. And nobody did anything about it. Unfortunately I was assigned an old, roughly 40+ year old sewing machine that always jammed. I asked for help so many fucking times, sometimes I had my hand up for 30+ minutes. The teacher would never help me. She would only be helping female students. And the rare occasion she did help me she would give me some vague help and walk away. All of the males of the class were saying the same thing, how she never helped them. One of my friends machines broke down, Ms. S never helped. But a females machine broke down she actually helped. She also treated all the females like angels and all the males like shit. She always had a very rude attitude towards the males. Pretty much all of the males got terrible grades for no reason, I failed the course. This year when I had to redo the course, I did it with a different, more helpful teacher and better machine. I passed the course in a heartbeat.

Regarding #1, Thats bullshit. Bullies will NOT get whats coming to them. There is no justice but what you take for yourself. I implore you, if you are being bullied, fight back. Make them hurt, show them that they don't get a free pass on beating you down. Even if you lose the fight, you make them work for it every time. Fuck them up before they get away with it.

I was bullied at my school from prep to year 6 every day. I had almost no friends except for one. Every other time I would be by myself, would not be involved in games with others because "they have too many people" when there are only 5 or I just sat somewhere away from everyone else. I was mainly verbally bullied with a few kids physically, with punches and kicks. I am so glad I left that hell of a place, that so called "school"

junior high was actually more hell for me. earlier wake up, didnt know who my actual friends were, got in a lot more trouble and got picked on more

You forget one kind of bully. The psychological one who, with the same little horrible jokes who on their one mean nothing, drives you mad. Worst part about it. When you finally snap, they are the innocent little victims who just made a little joke.

Ok let's talk, the school nurses are TRYING to keep you at the school. Because on day i was extremly sick (my skin was pale, i couldn't even talk without a bottle if water, i was dizzy and couldn'tt respond to the simplest of questions.) And i went to the nurse to get checked out. But no; she sauds i just hace a cold and she sent me back to class. But later that day, I went to a real doctor with a real lisence abd he told me that i had strep throat, A dangourus virus, and a sickness all combined... it took a month to recover and i had to stay away from school.for a week.

When pep rallies always pick the seniors to be the winner when in reality the freshman/sophomore or junior won. "Even though the freshman won, we'll have to give it to the seniors."

Too much useless stuff. I don't know how to deal with bills or anything like that and I'm a junior in high school... Real world advice is what we need to be taught, not how to find x and y.

I have a teacher who gives homework without teaching the topic. Only to teach it the next day. Also grades homework on accuracy and no late work no make up work no late work no nothing. Homework also take an hour+ to do. Oh it's also pre-calc.

Bullying was never really a problem in my high school. My high school took bullying very seriously. The only real problem for me in high school was the workload.

I agree with all of these, except that being called on in class should have been higher up in the list. I don't get why teachers would do that when they know how frustrating it is.

Combine "Rude Teachers" with "Bullying" and you get my world....hell. I've been called fat 3 times by my teachers, and I've been called lazy twice. And I've been humiliated or pushed over my teachers many, many, times. I tried reporting it, but the school said they can't do anything. A kid recorded what one of my teachers said to a student, sent it into the office, and they threatened to arrest the kid because it was "illegal"...go CCI!

Alright children, time for someone to preach what we all knew once. Here goes... Being a teenager fucking sucks. Just a few short years earlier, you were a kid. You knew what your favorite color was, your favorite show, song, game. You knew who you were. A few hormone jumps later, you can't even recognize yourself anymore. The things you used to like don't cut it anymore, and everybody makes fun of you for it anyway. Your internal clock is way off so getting up at 7 can feel like 3. You're sleep deprived and you've got acne to deal with. Even though other people have it, you feel like a target. With teachers, parents, coaches, and everything else, everybody is on edge like crazy and will rip you to shreds for wearing the wrong shoes. No wonder so many teens are depressed and moody. If adults dealt with shit like that, we'd get the cops. But kids deal with it every day. (mic drop)
