I agree,but Alien Romulas for me,early test screenings have been extremely strong even though the supporting cast isn't very good the practical effects,score and directing are said to be as almost as great as the first 2 Alien films.

My most anticipated summer movies are: 1. Kingdom Of The Planet of The Apes. (Looks Great and really Consistent. I am hyped) 2. Despicable Me 4 (Don't estimate those minions) 3. Bad Boys: Ride or Die (The 3rd one was amazing. This one looks really fun) 4. Deadpool and Wolverine (This might be like Multiverse of Madness or No Way Home. I have faith in Ryan tho) 5. Planet of the Apes is my most anticipated of the year, I don't expect it to match the trilogy because you can't beat Caesar but hopefully it does capture that essence and magic from the trilogy.

Great video Sean! Here are my top 3 anticipated movies of each month: May: 3) THE BEACH BOYS: A documentary covering one of my favorite bands coming out on Disney+. Also, if you haven't seen Love & Mercy with John Cusack and Paul Dano, that biopic always brings me to tears. 2) THE FALL GUY: This movie looks really entertaining, and I can't wait. 1) UNFROSTED: This looks like a really cool Netflix movie with a star-studded cast. June: 3) HIT MAN: Glen Powell has had my eye ever since Maverick. 2) THE BIKERIDERS: This looks like a dark movie with actors I trust (Butler, Hardy, etc). 1) INSIDE OUT 2: I really liked the first movie, I just don't understand why the recasted so many of the main voice actors. July: 3) MAXXXINE: I saw the trailer for this in theaters, and it just hooked me. 2) DESPICABLE ME 4: Of course I'm going to catch the newest Illumination film. 1) DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE: This is my most anticipated movie of the year. I have the same reserves of bringing Hugh back and taking away from Logan. People have been asking if this will save the MCU; I do not think it will. August: 3) MY OLD ASS: I love a good comedy. 2) KRAVEN THE HUNTER: I'm excited for this but it will probably be another Sony Spider Man train wreck. 1) IT ENDS WITH US: There's nothing huge drawing me to this, but it got delayed from February to June, and then to August, so I'm just antsy.

As someone who has played Borderlands the games definitely do have a humourous tone, and canonically it does involve a ragtag group of characters on a journey, kind of like GotG like you said. Though my friend and I aren't on board with some of the casting choices with respect to the chracter they portray in the games. Hopefully the movie will be decent and please both fans of the game and general movie goers.

Hey Sean, will you be checking out the 25th anniversary of the Phantom Menace? I still remember going to see it's first theatrical release and might have to go again. Horizon an American saga is probably on the top of my list. Twisters - another Glen Powell movie. The Fall Guy looks like a fun movie. Furiosa and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes were not on my radar, but the trailers look really good. Deadpool and Wolverine, I'm skeptical about. The MCU doesn't have a good track record lately. I didn't really like Deadpool 2 very much, but it had it's funny moments.

@@thefoxcritic1 Okay, to be fair, everyone expected Nolan to deliver the goods. However, everyone was very unsure of Barbie. I remember Barbie more than Mission Impossible 7, Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3, The Flash and most of the other ones which is something I never thought I’d say.

my list. just these 5 because thats all i know is coming out this summer. 5. inside out 2 (due to what i have been hearing it sounds like they are going with the turning red type of marketing for it which could turn out bad for their box office for it). 4. mad max furisoia. 3 kingdom of the planet of the apes (i agree with everything you said about it just not a fan of this series is all) 2. alien romulus(hope they succeed and get back to what made the first two awesome in the first place) 1. deadpool and wolverine (just excited for this one the most).

Prediction: Deadpool 3 will not only cheapen the impact of Logan’s sacrifice. Honestly, Reynolds is pretty hit-or-miss for me. His sense of humor gets old REALLY fast. I liked Free Guy, but in that same year Red Notice landed on my Worst of the Year list. I’m not saying he’s the problem, but I don’t trust Disney/Marvel to deliver a respectful or even good movie about the increasingly annoying and stupid multiverse concept. (I’m no fan of Deadpool either, but that’s beside the point.)
