Hei Aluxers! Would you ever be willing to spend $1 million on a single smoke? What top 10 would you like to see covered next? I would definitely buy a $1 million cigar and smoke it but the number 2 spot seems like a more interesting experience, definitely something I wanna smoke. Great video Alux😁
WHAT??!?!?! Whoever made this video has no idea about pricing. These prices are nowhere NEAR the actual prices some of these cigars are sold for. You can buy an Opus X from anywhere 15 to 30 dollars are most stores in the US. Sorry.
You are aware there are different variations of the cigar? The cheapest one in the UK is 21£ however you have other options. Depending on age tobaccoo etc. The more expensive ones go for 250£+.
@@stoyanstavrev8026 there are not different variations of the Opus X Lost City that I'm aware of. They come in different sizes maybe, but they all retail for around $40-50 USD.
Excuse me I didn't express myself properly. Yes sizes, but also the actual quantity as they are "limited edition" I am just looking at them in jrcigars. However as a fan of cigars, id prefer to text friends in cuba to send me cheaply bought handrolled street cigars, they taste better, better quality
Gurkha is like McDonalds of the cigar world. Its everywhere but terrible and good at the sametime. You hate it but still end up buying it at some point.
I myself work for a cigar company in Miami FL, msrp should be 20-25$ and we sell them for 35-45 depending on the Vitola size, etc...the only one that is 300-450$ is the "Stefano Ricci" Opus X. & that's for friends and family only. not for retail.
Yeah, it shows that cigar smoking in moderation is actualy a relativeley inexpensive hobby. The upper half of the list are just silly gimics like throwing gold and diamonds at it, buying literal historic artefacs or Nr4 is actualy a relativeley good deal (getting 1000 custom made cigars +1 additional rare cigar means that you get cigars from a famous producer for about 52 bucks a piece). Also, in my opinion as a purist aficionado, infusuions (most Ghurka cigars have them to artificialy raise the price by wasting expensive alcohol) actualy result in a reduction of the tobaccos quality and taste. Cant stand it. If i want to pair my cigar with a certain bevarage or food flavor then i drink/eat them while smoking the cigar instead of tainting both of the products purities. All of those cigars that are somewhat justified to be expensive (limited, aged and certain production year -like it is with wine some years the tobacco is better than in others) like the BHK 52 anniversary are still below 500 bucks. However, flavor wise i wouldnt recommend buying anything above 100 bucks. For example a normal BHK 52 you can get for 50 bucks. And who knows, if you put something like that in your humidor and 5-10 years later (during the aging process) the high end cigar stores realize that this specific year was a really good year, then you might also be in the possession of a stick worth a few hundred bucks. Cohiba has also sticks that are in the 20 buck range if you want to get the cohiba taste. And Cohibas (same goes for new world high end cigars and their counter parts) are not that much better and different than certain other cubans which are often much cheaper (like montechristo, partagas, h upman or romeo y julieta- all top tier cigars). Thats the beauty of cigar smoking, you get fresh cigars (including limited anniversary editions) of even the high end brands like cohiba, montechristo, partagas and so on for affordable prices and you can age them yourself to top tier cigars if you have patience and a proper humidor system in place (smoking your aged ones and periodically refiling new ones which you only touch after they have been aged). And getting that started is inexpensive too, you just need to buy something thats 100% spanish cedar and isnt too cheap to break or malfunction. I got a pretty large (up to 200 cigars) cedar wood humidor for a mere 150 bucks and its extremeley efficient with its boveda pack (2-way humidification is just the best for mold prevention and its the least troublesome to use) consumption therefore the run cost is next to nothing.
When a product is priced for rarity instead of excellence lol. Just smoke a padron 1926 instead. At 15 to 20 dollars its not cheap but better than these overpriced cigars.
No.8 question Cohiba behike is a line they are exactly 3 of them Behike 52 54 56 they are boxed in 10 cigar boxes each box says the ring gauge size and they go for 51€ for the 52 61€ for the 54 and 71€ for the 56 making it 510€ , 610€ and 710€ per box , clearly the research was not done and they still have 10+ boxes of each at my tobacconist
If you enjoy cigars, and had one of these once in a lifetime priced cigars, you would compare every cigar after to that one because it costs so much. May not even be the best cigar you ever have. But because you dropped 1mil on it, that will be your bar to beat for the rest of your life. I would rather enjoy what I can afford, and sometimes treat myself to a more expensive smoke I can enjoy again someday. Cigars are like wine. Regional, harvested tobacco, blended by hand, aged, and you can have a different one each session, and never try them all. If you enjoy them, enjoy! Thanks.
This is like a cigar video made by someone who did a days worth of research but didn’t really grasp much of what cigars really are and how the pricing is
Not sure where you got your prices for the Opus, but they are not that expensive where I find them. I find it hard, VERY hard to believe the Myan Sicar's are "perfectly" preserved.
I would not want to face God knowing I spent a million dollars on a stick of cigar.People starving all over the world and I'm pissing it away on smoke LOL
I had a twenty dollar Ghurka and it was a disappointment. Had a twelve dollar Romeo y Julieta and loved it. Ghurka is just marketed perfectly... creating a demand for a product that once you try is actually not that good.
It would have been nice to know where the tobacco was sourced from in many of those ridiculously priced cigars. I thought the list as kind of a gimmick. Cigars infused with fine liquors, or wrapped in gold, or an exotic wood humidor doesn't do much for me. I'm only interested in pure tobacco of excellent quality. However, this list was interesting to watch.
The current most expensive cigar it's not a Gurkha, but one that I blended and created myself valued at $1,000,000,000.99 but if you call in the next 15 minutes it could be yours for only 1,500,000 + 999,000,000 for shipping and handling.😳
You know I was never big on smoking cigarettes or weed but I’ve always been interested in CIGARS!! I grew up watching two of my favorite action stars smoking cigars, Schwarzenegger n Stallone!! Captain Price too!! & since then I’ve wanted to get in on that too. Haven’t smoked yet but still thinking about it!!!
If you really want to join the cigar world, I would recommend that you spend some time on www.cigarweekly.com. Educate yourself, do it right, and enjoy!
@@Mctrippzy Exactly, smoke something with a horrible herbal taste that makes you cough like your lungs are fighting to get out of your body instead of a balanced, flavorful and non intoxicating cigar.
Amazing Cigars l Like the King of Denmark & Gurkha His Majesty´s Reserve & Grand Habano No, 5 & Mayan Sicars & in CHRiSTMAS only Gurkha Royal Courtesan 🌹☕🍰☕🍰🍰 thank you for the video💐have a nice day everyone 🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺
It’s nice hearing the numbers, but shiiid. I just had a $5 Odessy Sweet Tip Connecticut Wrapped cigar the other day. Had me feelin like a million bucks 🤷🏾♂️ Especially paired with a smooth cup of hazelnut coffee for $1.79. Was definitely on my high horse for that session.
I prefer my cigars rolled by beheaded monks, Infused with the blood of a white rhino, wrapped in the skin of a Dodo and Encrusted with finest Martian dust.
I’ve had a Arturo Fuente Opus. Good cigar, but in my opinion their are far better smokes. I’ve also had a Cohiba Behike. One if the best cigars you can get. You buy them on CigarOne, you will not be disappointed.
Holy jacked up prices! Ur talking about special edition limited humidor prices for some of these. U can buy opus x and behike for under 30-40 bux a piece
Thats why you gotta throw diamonds and gold, "master rollers" (probably a 80 year old dude who cant even properly roll anymore bc his hands are shaking to hard) and other stuff as it is portrayed in the video at the cigars to make them more expensive. Its not about taste anymore at some point but just taking the maximum ammount of money out of dumb, gullible and tasteless super-rich people. Im pretty sure that coating a cigar leafe with gold destroys the burning balance (eg getting too hot bc the combustion heat cant diffuse properly). I cant stand infused cigars either bc i want my cigars completeley pure. A pure tobacco bundled cigar with long filler for
You can get some SOLID smokes for between $10 - $20 per smoke. Meaning you will be happy. In the $30 - $50 range, its hard to lose if your smoking Cubans. Beyond that, I find there is no longer ANY correlation between price and taste. Thank goodness, they make decent cigars at semi-affordable prices.
I plan on becoming a doctor, and branching out into real estate (a highly profitable side-job that requires a hefty starting budget), so hopefully I’ll be able to buy one of the 1mil cigars by the end of my life. I wanna smoke it on my death bed, that would be sick.
Haha, Gurkha is such a gimmick-ass company. I'm pretty sure I also remember reading that they neither grow their own tobacco, nor roll their own cigars. Haha, c'mon! 😆
First, the future billionaires do not see this channel, they are working to BE a billionaires, second, I smoke cigars for 25 years and never hear their exaggerated prices.
The finest cigar in the world for me is the one i enjoy, REGARDLESS OF PRICE!! If you like a cigar, and it costs $3.oo that's the finest cigar, period. Price does not always dictate perfection.
Couldn't have said it better myself. I have smoked $10k cigars and many other high $ sticks in my life. That said, I find myself gravitating back to my much less expensive brands, and not because of the money. Hell, one of my favorites is the old school La Bala sticks from back before they banned them being shipped in burlap. There are others I enjoy as well that are relatively inexpensive. Why? Because I enjoy them. No other reason needs to be given.
Smokes million dollar cigar: alright lets see if its worth it 1 3rd in: the burns crap, notes are flat and barely exist and to top it off I've had to touch it up 10 times
Try a Gurkha Centurion, cost about 2 bucks. When the dry heaves end and you're finished wretching you'll likely be asking yourself what this cigar is actually made of. Tobacco? I don't know. My guess is probably something like cloves.
I never forget back in the late 90's my friend John told me Fuente were the best I' ve smaoked many Opex'X just funny to see it made the list. BTW in my 20's at the time I was too young to know any better.
