Very interesting summary! But the one that appears in fourth place is not a cathedral, nor is it in Tehran! If it is the Surp Sarkis church in the city of Yerevan, the capital of Armenia!
It is nice but has a lot of errors. Some pictures are not from Iran. Iranian people in contrary of Turkey, they were always tolerant. They have more than 4000 years history. One of oldest culture next to Armenia in that region.
CORRECTION: The Number 4 church, Saint Sarkis is in Yerevan, Armenia and NOT in Iran, I think the producer of this video got the images wrong. Google Saint Sarkis Yerevan and see it for yourself. The video also has several other mistakes, images of Anglican churches in English parishes wrongly mentioned as being in Iran. Get your facts right before you post.

Some images seem to be from Gothic architecture interiors of churches>> St Mary s church from.the Sassanian and Arsacid period; the Producer must review or risk looking strange. I am well familiar with Armenian architecture and Church interiors...
Great effort to present the churches in Iran, but unfortunately some of the Armenian church photos are not correct. You better contact the Armenian prelacies in Tehran, Tabriz & Isfahan to get the needed corrections. Otherwise I congratulate your effort .
Just you became islamized through arab invasion of your lands while the ossetians being up in the caucasus were protected and saved and they are still christians like persians too were until the arab invasion of persian lands. There was an official church of persia
@@carlwermar8161 iranian were zurathusht.the oldest religion but when cyrus took over and freed jews,this action became symbolic for people and kings and every dynesty.but iranian became moslim becouse the king kave and hiracoloes the rome king came to agreement nomore war and divided lands between persia and rome like eqautin 1+2=2+1 so those2 super powers persia and rome had no worries than had less army but misguided,mis informed about 3th party which arab grew and won over those which were weak after that equation i wrote about and biggest mistake of both super powers.biggest mistake of history.could not undo it.

@@bidarvandi i think iran was weakened when heraclius byzantine emperor has won the war . You have to check it out. I think they both were weakened due to war.
There are a lot of Christians, but as far as the freedom goes, there are no such things as freedom of religion or freedom of any kind for that matter in Iran at the moment. As long as the Christians practice their faith indoors and under conditions, they are free to do so, but this is not really freedom.
@@Douxidoux That does not mean freedom of religion. Freedom of religion means you are free to choose any kind of religion, not just the middle eastern religions.
while there are many fantastic and certainly very old churches in Iran of today, most of the images depicted in this video are of churches and chapels well outside of current Iranian borders, most seem to be of European gothic cathedrals which this video's creator is introducing as churches in Iran which is absolutory false...!!!! 😠
