surprised Azarenka-Williams 2013 US Open Final didn’t make the list, Wozniacki-Halep AO2018 also, those matches were absolutely iconic🤩 instead of Williams-Tan or Williams-Stephens, but there are plenty to choose from, waiting for part 2🙏🏻

What I think was significant about the Kerber vs Williams match was that it marked the end of Serena's complete dominance in GS finals. After her loss to to Stosur in the 2011 US open final Serena went to win the next 8 GS finals she appeared in, Kerber was the one who put an end to that streak.
