@20:30 Pliskova's "leave you hangin'" handshake & then chopping down the umpire's chair did crack me up. There's no excuse for looking at the wrong ball-mark on clay when the player is clearly telling you which one it was.

Fun fact: putintseva actually accused her coach of watching videos about flat earth.

The most sickening display of unsportsmaship by Serena. She went on a rant, acted as if she's an innocent victim and made it all about herself and her entitlement. She was nasty on the chair umpire, she didn't show the slightest respect to her opponent and during the presentation, it was again all about her. Just sick.

To be fair Pliskova, Cirstea and Riske were absolutely right in this cases. On the other hand, my opinion about Williams really changed after that final. Poor Osaka and poor referee!

As impactful as the one against Naomi was, I'd almost say Serena's outburst in the match against Clijsters is worthy of being on a list like this too

Serena causing all of that drama and then Patrick afterword being like, "Oh yeah, we were DEFINITELY coaching," makes her look like even more of a clown.

I am sorry for Osaka, she was killing Serena fair and square and she knew it so she used the whole episode with the referee as an excuse

Cirstea's is not a meltdown; she was standing up for herself. Pliskova, a really regrettable incident; they did her wrong. Really should have Zvonareva's epic Charleston meltdown up. And there are a couple more "glaring" admissions, including Hingis's notorious loss of focus in the FO final and likewise for Jankovic in the US Open semi where it was not so much anger as losing the plot over a call.

Serena meltdown at the US open is legit downright one of the worst and most unsportsmanlike things I have ever seen in any sport. She basically ruined a GS final for everybody because of her sense of entitlement. She ruined it for the crowd, for the umpires and especially for her young opponnent. Even if the chair umpire was completely wrong (which he wasn't) and made a terrible mistake (which he didn't), that was still horrible how she acted

Serena vs Osaka was tough to watch... I grew up admiring Serena and I know Naomi did as well.

players know when a ball is in or out. i love Sakkari but she would have been heroic if she gave the point away. i think she knew in the moment but wanted the match too much to do the right thing.

I’ve been fortunate to attend many WTA matches and so here goes.... Many of the talented women are divas and smart-ass, disrespectful people who work hard but are never wrong and never want to be told they are wrong.

Well, again, Carlos Ramos was 100% right in this US Open final. Too bad that he was "punished" in 2019 by not officiating on any Williams matches

It has to be said, so many of the problems are caused by officials. If the calls were made correctly, we wouldn't be having a lot of these conversations. This is why electronic line calling is necessary.

Ok as much as I adore Venus, her challenges were soooo slow that match with barbora. Venus obviously waited for her shots to go out then challenge.🤷‍♂️

It’s one thing to vocalize your frustration but when you start throwing rackets you should not just be penalized a point but a game, you should be able to control your behaviour. I do think the Line judges need replacing if they continue to make the wrong call.

She literally stopped looking at the tracker replay because she knew it was gonna be on her side. Started to serve. That game should have been investigated after. Someone was taking a bribe.

In tennis, players can come together and they can concede points. When you get hit with the ball, if the umpire doesn't see it and gives the point to you bc of a verbal hindrance, you should come forward and demand that your opponent get the point since the ball hit you. It makes me sick how often players sit back and just accept cheap points even when they know they don't deserve them.

Williams vs. Strycova: Proves that when things aren't going your way, women will try to change the rules and conditions. Stanford vs. Cibulkova: It's an umpire problem and there really shouldn't have been. All of the calls were wrong when challenged. Why have umpires and or line judges if they can't do a simple task properly? Putintseva: She's just another child who is not getting her way. Cornet: Like the caption said, "Don't waste your challenges. Pliskova: Again, umpire incompetence caused this and their supervisors are equally as incompetent. Williams vs Osaka: Debatable whether the umpire was going above his charter but then again, Serena didn't have to lose it like that.

As a player we really want our coach to cheer ourself up, to focus on the match to find solutions instead of doing shjt.
