@@NitpickingNerds I'm still unconvinced about three tree city outside any kindred deck going wide. It's going to be great there specifically. But a lot of cards are great specifically in a couple decks. People keep saying "every single kindred deck wants this". Like, Ur-Dragon kind of doesn't. Or Dinos. Colorless lands aren't "free". Nobody cares about Archway of Innovation being Tolarian Acadamy at home (3+ non-land artifacts to essentually make 2+ mana) but everybody is going crazy for Three Tree City being Gaea's Cradle at home which needs 4+ kindred creatures to make 2+ mana. Everybody is going "it's so easy to have 10+ squirrels in play!" - It's also not difficult to have a metric ton of clue, food, blood, junk, treasure, map or 1/1 servo-tokens in play. I don't understand.
@@paulszkiit’s a mid card for mid decks. people that play tribal decks are usually suckers for these kinds of cards that just seem good on paper cuz they’re not used to thinking that deeply about their choices to begin with
Lilysplash is on demand blink in blue/green. That's... amazing. I think you guys really underrated how powerful that is. Think of the crazy ETB triggers on green creatures. With this, we won't have to go into white or very, very expensive blue to use blink on green cards. You can even trigger the blink more than once per turn since it doesn't tap.
Ehh, it’s not Nykthos, at least from a Green perspective, but calling your KoS Commander’s type could take a lot of sting out of recasting for the 3rd-4th time. Definitely a solid pickup if your deck builds hard around your Commander. Boy, is the Voja fanatic at my LGS going to love TTC.
The problem with playing world shaper was that you had to jump through the hoop of attacking and then killing world shaper to get the mill and lands. Lumra does it on demand, sticks around, and hits like a truck.
Fun fact, when you "crack your bones", your not actually cracking your bones. You're snapping/popping air bubbles that are in between the joints. It's like popping bubble wrap.
That Coruscation Mage went right into my Ojer Axonil deck. Getting two bodies that can ping for 4 each instead of just one that deals four is amazing for decks like that.
One card that I feel like gets slept on is Innkeeper's Talent. The card is absurd, doublers are always nice but this one provides protection and also distributes +1/+1 counters to make use of it's later levels.
Ral, Crackling Wit is an auto include in my Commodore Guff deck. Has a passive that procs off my other 21 planeswalkers and like 40% of the rest of the deck, and makes blockers for days, AND draws cards. Chef's kiss.👍
I love fountainport as a backup plan for when i wanna hold up a janky 5cmc spell like Inkshield and then if it doesn’t go off, i can make a treasure before my turn.
I have been pairing ral with the mono blue tamyio so every spell you cast goes back to your hand then git prob has a hidden mode of 2 life add a loyalty draw a card
Season of Loss is the best $3 i could have possibly spent for my Meren/Mazirek/Sidisi/Ghave/Necrobloom deckbuilding shenanigans that were all trying to like, mass mill Mortal Combat, Dread Return, and Eternal Witness to close in the grand finale. (Maybe Sterling Grove in the Necrobloom would've done great work, since its also gonna protect my Felidar Retreat and some utility enchanments) In the versions that do +1/+1 counter shenanigans, the +1/+1 counter E-wit that regrows a permanent every time it gets a counter does get Mortal Combat but not Season of Loss fwiw Mortal Combat is like 2BB, not six mana The Sidisi build can probably use the blink-frog shown in this video to recur Ewit and loop Season of Loss until i win... I'm not spending that much for a Lumra any time soon, but it would go great with the Reprocess, Korozda Guildmage, and Altar of Dementia/Greater Good shenanigans my builds want to do once i work out one of the lists
I like Three Tree City, but to be even more like Nykthos it should have let you choose the creature type and color on activation, not just color. That would mirror how you cared about devotion for Nykthos but what devotion type could change.
I don’t like token copies of real cards because no one uses legit tokens to represent the copies and it becomes frustrating to keep track of. They always have an excuse for why they don’t have the token and end up just using a random die or something…
One thing that is super annoying is the booster packs have random tokens so you can get the token and not the real card or vice versa. You basically are forced to go buy the tokens as singles if you dont get tons of packs. They should have it set up where the token is auto included into packs that have the real version
My “tribal” decks happen to all be tribal for abilities, like defender or deathtouch, but still a great card! P.S. for the trolls, I know kindred is a term now, but I’m old school and don’t get offended as easily. So please don’t respond to my word choices as if it matters.

I still think the black season is only the 3rd best one. The green and blue ones look better to me. Also did we even have a nonwhite card before that wipes artifacts OR enchantments (not just always both) before?
Ugh….. to many new sets, I have just upgraded my 15 current decks 4 decks that I have sort of dismantled and the 4-5 new decks I’m building with some assassins creed and lots of MH3 upgrades … 😅

If you sacrifice a clue to fountain port to draw a card I would literally lol You essentially pay 3 mana instead of 2 to draw that way. Lol Maybe sacrifice a blood token, but if your paying 3 mana to sac a blood for a card draw, you probably won't be winning in a aggro heavy meta lol
