I’ve never thought that anyone would consider scyther and golisopod “nightmare fuel”

I understand Parasect, it's technically a zombie pokemon But Scyther? YOU THINK SCYTHER IS SCARY!?!?

Really no Hypno? I mean creepypasta aside this guy is frightning. His nose, his dead eyes, his sinister like silence. How could you not add him?

I think Giratina should have been on the list because Arceus itself banished it for its violent ways. Think about that for a moment: all of the Pokemon on the list can do and have done horrible things but they remain unbanished from the world, so whatever Giratina did was WORSE than what any of these Pokemon did.

Scyther looks awesome, but it is not a nightmare fuel.

No Yveltal? This thing went on a literal killing spree in the Diancie movie and fired a point-blank Oblivion Wing at a father and his daughter

Some Pokémon I think are nightmare fuel - Drifloon- when it pops it sounds like screams - drifblim- takes away people and Pokémon - Palossand- has BONES under it

Way to disappoint the entire fandom, WatchMojo. Next time you make a Pokemon video, please consult someone who is actually a fan instead of picking "scary looking" ones. The true scary ones come from their Pokedex description. Those bug types in this video are not scary. You even forgot Giratina, who is literal SATAN in the Pokemon world.

Guzzlord also canonically ate a woman, leading to Nanu's depression in the current day. And Darkrai's more of a tragic case, since it can't control its own Gastly (I had to) defense mechanism. However, the one from Explorers is malevolent, orchestrating a time crash by causing Dialga to go insane and creating a bad future where he apparently rules from the shadows, intentionally sends a child into an unwaking nightmare, disguises himself as the goddess of dreams, Gresselia, and tries tricking the player and partner into offing themselves. (Of course, no death words are used, but it's very heavily implied.) Also, Gengar's honestly worse: it was once human and wants a friend, so it will try killing other humans. There's no escaping it. And its Mega curses others, including its own Trainer, with the intent being their deaths. It also doesn't care for anything besides prey. (Mega Dex entries are all genuinely terrifying. Or sad. Or both.) There's also Giratina, who makes itself known while Cyrus was attempting to reset the universe by showing up as this giant mass of black ichor with glowing red eyes and spikes, and taking Cyrus to the Pokemon equivalent of the netherworld, all while screeching and jumpscaring the player. It was also banished for its violence. Palossand also absorbs its victims life energy by pulling its victims underneath it (basically, drowning them in sand), and you can find bones underneath. With non-Ghosts, there are Sliggoo, who can't differentiate between friends and food, and will try to dissolve people. Tapu Lele who is guilessly cruel and when soldiers were waging war, used its scales to pump them up and led to them all killing each other (in Japanese text), Glalie, who used to be human, Primeape who gets so angry, it dies...need I go on?

Giratina? The literal DEVIL of Pokemon??? Ever heard of it?

No honorable mentions? No Dusknoir, no Gengar, no Steelix? come on

And yet another thing about Eelektross: It literally has no weakness.

Uhh... Hypno? Giratina? Drifloon? Pallosand? Yveltal? Dusclops? Shedinja?

The tragic part about Araquanid? It’s generally friendly demeanor! It accidentally drowns everyone it wants be friends with!

A lot of these pokemon are circumstantial . Scyther is kind off scary but very rare , Golisopod is recorded to be a coward , Darkrai while scary has shown a kinder side to its personality , Elecktross is definetly creepy same as Parasect ,Pinsir , Banette , . As for Dewpiders evolution it is kind of unsettling but its dex entries are controdictoty and Mimikyu is only scary in the anime or if you lift its coat since it only wants to be friends . Guzzlord is probaly the scariest since it is actually shown to have destroyed alola in another dimension.

Okay, I can kinda understated Golisopod, since some people think giant isopods are scary, but scyther, seriously? I also think 'Nigtmare Fuel' is an overkill way to describe them. Scary or Creepy would be way better.

One nightmare fuel pokemon for me is Jynx.

The one thing from Pokémon that caused me more nightmares than any horror movie was the manga. The controlled corpses in the Pokémon Tower, Arbok regenerating aften being slit in half by Charmeleon, Blaine's sickness due to Mewtwo, the way Archie and Maxie nearly won but ended up fighting for a sword that would be the only thing keeping them alive were disturbing enough, and some fights like Giovanni freezing and shattering Magmar and Deoxys stabbing Mewtwo were quite graphic for the franchise. Then there's the Black & White manga, which was really draining near the end.

I'm arachnophobic, and *I* had an Araquanid on my team for Pokemon Sun.
