The problem with that thinking, that Dormommy is meant for T4s, is that you have to beat him many numerous times just for the resources to get a T4. In that regards, he needed a to be beatable by T3s, even if it's level 80, but with gears at 25, since we can't upgrade gears without having to beat him in the first place. And yes I'm a struggler. 19% pierce, but I don't have the large all attack, because I built PvP cards for AC.

They keep kicking me when I use Knull. Everyone thinks Knull is outdated, but he has a lot of damage against Dormammu and is literally immortal, none of Dormammu's attacks can kill him, sometimes, not even in consecutive attacks he dies

But if we want to t4 we need to clear dormammu They should add those meterials in galactus even it is half of what we get from dormammu

Good luck finding a random team that can clear this, as a team of T3s doesn't mean they can do the damage. They may have the right types and seem like they can, but I've done this too many times dealing almost all the damage. I have 19% pierce and almost 100% between AA and the others, but it isn't enough to carry a 3 person team. I have a busy real life and can't spend too much time trying to find out who can do this and link up with them in order to clear this. I've been in this game since year 2, and it's fun at times, but this is a ridiculous step that makes it not so much.

Well I'm not sure about 8% pierce & 100% all attack .. because I have 13% pierce & 120% over all energy attack + the energy attack proc .. & only one team can solo for me which is a swap method between supergiant & moonstone both stacked with a good amount of odins also using ctps of judgement & energy and taskmaster support with an insight.. On the day he was combat , it took me about 9 minutes to solo .. on speed day , I couldn't solo .. and barely can solo it on other days.. So don't really think 8% pierce é 100% all attack will cut it.. Not without mighty ctps at least.. Also something really irritating happens.. when u kill him 2nd time , it takes him like 7-8 seconds before he leaves and u win .. so a couple of times when I killed him with like 3 seconds remaining , it still showed me defeated... Ign : 0 Shadow 0

I love this boss so much. My only complaint about DMM GBR is the 50% pierce reduction feels so lazy in phase 2.. but there are enough other new mechanics that I’m still super happy (like getting teleported to fight the mindless ones). Thanks for this Beast! I’m now waiting for reforge rage next update and it’ll kick DMM ass

Another advice: If you are like me who has 11% pierce but don't have powerful alliance members (or you live in different time zones) and queueing to random lobbies, try to clear gbr in the first half of the day after reset There's much higher chance to find 2 decent players who didn't clear dormammu yet and who can deal dps equally. It takes 5-7 minutes to clear with 33-40% of total damage

I love your content beast. I don’t have a ton of trouble clearing dormammu. Depends on teams I’m with. Anyway thank you for your in depth knowledge of content and being able to share that with everyone

You basically need 3 competent teammates who are doing as much damage to you if not close at least It is insanely hard to carry it even with reforged ctps and 13 percent pierce and I basically can’t solo it I need people who can do at least 30 percent damage

Great video!!! I think this tip or information is very important that you didn’t mention. When you play Dormammu GBR if anyone brings a CTP of Insight, all 3 players benefit from the CTP. Therefore, check if anyone in your lobby has a insight so someone doesn’t waste the insight and can use it on another run. Or you can bring an insight for everyone in the lobby.

I like how the game is telling us to build our card sets and the characters properly to clear the new content. I see a lot of accounts which has spend more money than me and still suck so they are gonna focus on the right things or they should.

The 50% pierce decrease affects people with 15% or below pierce Very much, atleast 20% pierce is needed to clear gbr if u dont have other friends with 20% pierce. U might need Thena or Knull with extra 5% pierce to be able to do any notable damage. The f2p way going forward will be to get 20% pierce by skipping unis and locking blue stats and craft combines.

I got exactly 1 clear so far, and even then a whale with a maxed out Dr. Strange had to carry us over the line. Not going to attempt GBR Dormammu for a while

when anyone of the players sent to the other platform to defeat a mindless one, you lose all support buffs even including the supoort character buffs like white fox's so switch characters always that happens to get your buffs back

I can for sure say you don't get sent to the mindless ones island just because you are doing the most damage. I've run this GBR about 20x now and I have been top dps in all runs and it's either random or "and this is just a theory I'm working on" it's a player on the side the hand points at, if you are on the other side you won't get sent, again just a theory. Also I've been chosen and mid teleporting it was cancelled and I was right back in front of Dormammu, so I don't know what's happening there yet. Now as further evidence that it's random I had a run where a teammate got sent and he couldn't kill the mindless one so another was chosen, then I get sent and so all three of us were on the island to defeat the mindless one because the 2 players I was with just couldn't do enough damage and I had to defeat it, this would possibly indicate random selection by Dormammu.

Man some days u rlly need to go through hell just to get the book, but Imo there is no need to rush getting those books because it is basically impossible to get my guy tony to t4 in just ten days. Love the video as always beast!

Books aren't really a problem as u still need a ton of other t4 mats to get to that point of actually using them. So there is no real reason to rush to get to the cap of 10.

ALSO I have gotten the book every time that I have used boots points for 3x’s rewards….not sure if that’ll hold true every time. But is definitely something to possibly try and take note of.

Hey in reference to the synergy hero you’re wrong. Next to them if you hover over the ? It’ll state that reward acquisition chance will be increased by OWNING the character not by using them. Otherwise great tips buddy

my doom with 20 odins and 13% pierce and 42% all attack and 50% energy attack and with wong and valkyrie he can't get a bar in 1 minute but dr strange with 12 odins can but he dies really easy and iron man cant do it at all lv80 IGN Valiahd

Dormmamu is difficult Idk if they will nerf it, many players will probably demand he is nerfed. I just wish they make the book drop a guaranteed drop instead of random, that would be enough. I just wanted to get the book for when Storm gets a T4 and I don't know how to improve my account to be able to clear it outside of increasing my pierce.

I just wish I could find people who are not idiots bringing garbage teams in, making me carry 90% of the damage, and coming up 10 bars short at the end. Pierce is a must for this which, like you said, means people need to fix their cards. Casually T3ing someone every 3 months isn't going to win this game for you anymore and not picking up the free P card because you like an icon is a big mistake too.

I tend to have to just keep trying and trying hoping at least one person in the match is really strong….because I have no problem staying alive I just can do maybe 3/4 of a bar of damage in phase 2 on a full rotation with my T3…and without the T3 and a full rotation I can do about 1/4 of a bar and that is being generous.

question beast if you have a character artifact with 3* right instinct and a 4* wrong instinct which should you have equipped?

Does the artifact “increase damage to Pure Evil” work when fighting against Dormammu?

that instinct buff may be the one that falls off and u hafta switch chars at the start of the 2nd phase to refresh it.

You don't have to give characters a random artifact just to find out their unique instinct. Just check out the details of the character and you'll see it on the left.

Also because iron man lvl 80 I just cleared all stage 12 for dispatch

anyway i have a better way to decide if my team is fit to clear dormammu or not , 1st i take it in solo and test my damage for 1st phase , if i'm able to clear 1st phase in less than 3 min MAXIMUM then i better change it or try different team cuz i will be a huge burden and eventually i will need someone to do more work to compensate my low damage with this specific team mostly i keep it 2.5 min clear for 1st phase just in case we had a 3rd partner is not good enough . and yeah i completely agree with u about the type advantage , it matters by far , i have screenshot of my doctor octopus clear in speed day and i was in top of my team dps not being carried or so .

Thanks for the tips. I can clear solo 4 times. But I can't seem to do 3 ppl fight maybe im getting joined with ppl who cant clear it. The drops for solo are so bad. You can't even get close to getting all 150 of a book a day. More like 8-40 before running out teams that can clear dormamu from my roster.. Maybe it's the connection stability/connection? I have 5g and solo works fine.. I have 19 pierce and over 100 combined all attack.

I tried him a couple times. I don't have the juice to get it done solo. I need more pierce and some more attack stats.

I can destroy him in the first phase and the second phase hits and all I do is tickle him. But then again my cards absolutely blow. I had great cards prior to the reforge system but now I only have 2 fully crafted cards so 4% Pierce.

+Beast Mode Gaming Do you know if anyone else is having issues getting crafting materials for card crafting and CTP reforging?? Or even yourself?? I personally have had ZERO card crafting cubes in dimension rift since the change. I AM REALLY HOPING THEY DECIDE TO PUT THOSE BACK ON THE REGULAR GIANT BOSS RAIDS (Master Mold and Galactus)…or heck World Boss Ultimate.

I found this to be incorrect: "increase damage when using universal type characters" against universal bosses. According to game rules when a character is universal no other type has type advantage over universal and he has slight advantage against combat, blast and speed types. This has proved in my testing when my Proxima was around 1 minute slower against Dormammu when his type was Universal. However she has type advantage any other day when his type is combat, blast or speed.

Oh lol i didn't realise universal characters do more damage on universal day. My doom solos with 1 min left usually and on Sunday he did with 2 mins left. I was shocked as i thought it was type neutral !!! Playing solo just drops 15 to 20 of those materials but it's easier. Hardly anyone joins the lobby and those that join are newbies. PS- I've 16% Peirce and around 100 overall attack

what is the min requirement to do dormammu solo? is it 8% pierce and 100% all attack too, is trio better than solo, if yes how much better?

Beast, I love your content and I appreciate you testing everything for us all the time. But, I find myself skipping a lot of it lately unless it's on your f2p account. All of your character showcases are just not reflective of the performance I'm actually going to see on my account primarily because of the difference in pierce. I'm currently at 16% pierce, but I feel like the majority of players are probably between 8% and 15% pierce. So at this point the content coming from your f2p account is actually more relevant to my account. I guess I don't know what the viewership numbers are on your f2p videos vs your primary account but for me personally I would actually like it if your f2p account had its own channel so it would be very easy to know which videos I'm looking at.

I recommend you check your friends list and chop some players that are not progressing and get some strong friends 👌

Well, attacking during his invincible phase is not a bad idea. Actually better than waiting. You can charge up your T3 skills, otherwise it's gonna be waste of time if you're doing nothing, just waiting for it to end.

well , from my personal testing with my 100+all attack + around 30% E/P attack + the active 20% attack buff Physical and Energy i can destroy 1st phase and be in top of dps of my friends , yet my 2nd phase damage drops insanely compare to guys with a bit higher pierce which makes me feel that pierce matters even more in 2nd phase even tho it says it's reduced i've done many testing with same guys from my alliance and friend list or similar pierce and goes the same for me and others sometimes i use better team combo that's why i can easily surpass them in 1st phase yet everytime in 2nd phase higher pierce players shines even wayyyyyyy tougher so i don't really agree with u about that attack matters even more for doramammu than pierce another confirmation for my testing , some of them have less attack in general ( ALL - P - E - active buff ) attack than me but their cards are focused on pierce that's why with better team combo i can surpass them easily in 1st phase cuz my low pierce 2nd phase they do all the work and i'm struggling roughly

Cannot for the love of the game match up with two Whales to rack some of these event quests targets - any advice dude?

i would say as long as you can score a couple hundred million, you can just create a lobby and find good teammates and claer dormammu easily
