I can get most of these prices in the stores locally. I do order raw milk cheese but being disabled I cannot help unload a truck and I cannot ask my caregiver to do that as it's not in her job description even though she would do it for me. So I have it shipped directly to my house it's only $8 shipping. Raw milk cheese is something I can get in the store but costs more. I grew up wealthy and I have plenty of money but my mother taught me how to be cheap to keep my money! :-)
Equate brand of Epsom salt at Walmart (at least where I'm at) is significantly cheaper. It just comes in 8lb bags so you have to buy multiple to get that quantity. But it was around $5.60 per 8lb bag as of last weekend. So 50lb would be between 6 and 7 bags and cost in the $35 range, give or take depending on if you go more or less. That's significantly more cost effective.
Cassia cinnamon isn't even cinnamon. I like the ceylon cinnamon very well but Vietnamese cinnamon will blow your mind! Ceylon used to be Sri Lanka it's not India it's an island off India and that used to be called the island of Ceylon that's where we got Ceylon sapphires Ceylon cinnamon and Ceylon tea.
So far, I’m not impressed with Azure prices or their irregular delivery days and times. When they’re out of something you order, you don’t know until they load the truck and you’re given about a three hour notice to order something else. No. I’m not likely to order from Azure again.
Hi! This year, the number of people that have ordered from them is exponential. I think these are the growing pains of their business and also the importance of finding local sources. When I recorded this video, times were definitely different when ordering from them now, including prices!
Vanilla beans on Amazon are 12.75 for 10. Ceylon cinnamon powder is less than 20 bucks a lb. I really like Azure but I feel like some of their things are just priced to high.
We love Azure. I haven't came across anything we didn't like yet. I'm just now venturing into household cleaners so that could change. So far my favorite item is the juice sweetened dried cranberries! Soooo good! I can't find a comparison any where. The dried blueberries are also amazing! We love the assortment of options we have with Azure
My Azure Standard pick up is on Monday. The Ceylon cinnamon is one of my items that didn’t ship. I bought their vanilla beans last month. I enjoy your videos.
Curious if you've had issues with delivery/pickup....and if so what issues have you experienced? I have been thinking about placing my first order with them, but still.on the fence. Curious what issues folks have experienced with getting their purchases/orders.
@@BostonSarah So, let me say the products are great. But the dependability is not. I regularly did not get items that where the main reason why I was ordering from them. It depends on where you are on their delivery schedule. We seem to be way out on the end of their supply line. It does not matter if you are the first person to order the product. If you are at the end of their supply line and they run out before they get to you. So sorry, outta luck. You will not get your product. We asked them to address the issue. They did not care. We stoped shopping with them.
For me it is hit and miss. The current order that will be picked up next week had all but one thing and it was a 600 order (a few things for a friend on it that I will get paid for). Time before that I got one out of 6 things ordered. Right now so many people are stocking up it is hard to keep things in stock.
O get the hibiscus tea at a Mexican store. Soooo much cheaper! Loving your style! I'll check out Azure..... I know this is an old video but new subscriber.
What about the organic Saigon cinnamon from Costco? So in love with your channel ❤️ we just placed our first Azure order and are picking it up this week! Planning to do a video on it 😁 it's been very crazy here with health stuff so praying everything works out. Let's chat soon when we are better!
Oh Kelli I just learned about this from a different channel but if you look where the books are with Azure you can get busines cards for like a cent and you can put your code on the back and give to friends or people you meet and it's a way to help you and Azure out..i just added some to my order. I'm always telling people about them..yay
Store sweet potatoes and potatoes in sand (in bucket or other container in cool dry place) which keeps the moisture from causing mushiness and rotteness. It will begin to sprout and you can dig them out and plant them in your garden when the season comes.
Flax meal is full of omega-3s just put some in your cooking or baking. I add them to baking if it's muffins or something like that brownies even and smoothies.
Thank you for sharing about the cinnamon, I didn’t know the Ceylon was better! I can’t wait to see the makeup video, I am always looking for clean brands!
I didn't either, I knew that pregnant women should only eat ceylon, but I didn't think any further about it! And I'm supposed to get my makeup order in the mail today, so excited!
Hi! This video was so helpful and I can’t wait to order from Azure! However, I wanted some glass containers on hand like yours before ordering. Do you mind sharing where yours is from?
I enjoyed hearing about your favorites! I look forward to learning more about clean make-up. I recently purchased the Jenny Ann’s loose powder and really like it.
I use black cocoa and my four-year-old grandson opens my packages with a box cutter and sliced it open! Nanny is going to say tomorrow which is the first day of 2021 that he's going to cut open packages like that with scissors! :-)
Love Azure! I agree about the oats. It's the best price you can get anywhere. And their apples! If you've never ordered their apples before, it is the BEST price for organic apples and it's apple season right now! Their juicing apples are the best price. Usually $20 for a 20lb box and I love them.
Loving all of this! Anyone who is pregnant do not drink Hibiscus tea. It can cause hormonal fluctuations and cause miscarriages. All the other health benefits from it are super awesome just as she says! Try it with some of your coconut shavings....nummy nummy nummy!🙂😉
thank you. this is helpful as I get together an order. Off topic, but do a search for the musician, Katie Petersen. It is amazing how similar you and her talk!
I'm just loving all your videos..We love Azure🙌.. I just orderd a Grain Mill so I can start using more of the yummy grains to feed my family. Super excited
Thank you so much Kate! You are always so encouraging! And that is so exciting about your grain mill? May I ask which one you ordered? With all the feedback from my last azure video, I have been looking into getting one!
@@ScottandKelli I just love both YOUR hearts and it's a joy to follow your channel. So I did some research and it came down to budget over what I really wanted..so I got the Nutri Mill classic, for half the price used on eBay. Once I contacted the seller, she said she had only used it 5 times when the Rona lockdowns hit 🤦 and she couldn't find flour only grains. She said its just her and her husband so it doesn't get used as much as she like to..after speaking with her she even knocked a little more off. I was grateful and it goes to show if you just talk to someone what a difference it makes. Plus she's in the same state..im thinking if I could overnight the bread about making her a couple loafs with the fresh grain once I get it, nd the grains I orderd from Azure.I really wanted the new model the wooden one but this one was ment to be. I hope this helps..ive seen a couple other models for sale bc of the same reason..they got them and never use them. well that was a long message Bye Kelli👋
That’s so exciting! We also have the nutrimill classic. We use it a ton. I love this model but I agree the wood one is very pretty! I hope you enjoy your mill! After having ours and using it for everything I always say there’s no way I can go back to pre milled grains. My family is spoiled now from using fresh milled grains! The taste and quality is top notch.
@@katemurphy4985 That is such a good idea to look on ebay or craigs list! I will try that first! Ah I'm so excited for you, I feel like God totally directed your steps with this!!!
@@ScottandKelli I got my my Mill today it's Brand New looking and was more then half the price..i was blessed with the seller she was very nice and excited to hear I was going to use for my family...hope you find a great deal also..i will say the classic is a BEAST lol so if you are looking for something smaller the Nutri Mill Plus would be perfect for you two I believe and it's beauiful. The Mill is wood and the grains are grind up by stone..plus it doesn't get as hot from what I was reading..ive seen a couple on Mercari, EBay ..good Luck.
I grew up watching a car with dish soap and I still do I don't buy some separate product to clean the car and half the time I go to the drive-thru self-serve car wash.
Enjoying watching your recommendations. I do shop azure but mostly for items I can't find in my small town. Goat cheese, gf sourdough bread, canned coconut milk etc...but you have reminded me of some good things to try again!
@@cy8905 You use a "flaker" which is basically steel rollers which flatten grains. Some flakers also can be used as a grain mill with different settings.
We've been collecting them over the years. At first I got them from Hobby Lobby, but then I learned about auctions and have gotten MANY from there! And just saving old jars and repurposing them!
I learned something a while back......I did this with fresh pecans. Soaked them in salted water overnight then ran them in the dehydrator until crisp! They don’t get rancid that way or at least not very quick!
I did not know that about nuts, thank you! And we used to order from Vitacost, but don't anymore. And I'm thinking if it's fermented it doesn't go rancid?? I need to do more research on this!
Love the little bits of helpful information you add in. Already knew about rancid fish oil. Makes me sick all the money I put into buying that for my husband only to realize they were prob more harmful then good. But I didn’t know about the cinnamon! Will get that with my next order. Can’t wait to see what you get from 100 percent and your thoughts on it. I’ve looked at their stuff before.
Honey you and your husband need to hit up a dictionary or Google and learn to pronounce azure. It is a shade of blue and there is no accent on the word any place especially where the z begins. ;-)
