Top 10 Rides at Lake Winnepesaukah (Lake Winnie) 

I've lived in Chattanooga all 34 years of my life, and I've never heard such a unique pronunciation of "Winnepesaukah!" The correct pronunciation is "win-eh-pa-so-kuh."

Wacky Factory was actually a haunted house when if first opened called Castle. It originally had 2 floors and a small dip, but it was eventually changed to just 1 floor, which from what I’ve heard was due to fire codes. They eventually changed it to Wacky Factory, and for years it was a kid friendly ride (minus the truck horn). They changed it to what it is now a couple years back, with the bright colors mixed with horror elements. Anyway, just a cool story. I think if it was still the Castle though it’d probably be higher in your rankings. There’s POVs of it but only the 1 floor version. I’ve never been able to find footage of the original with 2 floors sadly.

This is my kind of park. That coaster at 2 looks great. I love the classic flats, including the Wagon one. The bars remind me of Ali Baba - the Carpet Flat. I'm a sucker for Orbiter as well as the classic Round-Up.

Great childhood memories.

Went to the park for the first time this year and i loved it. Really wished we could have rode conestoga, but talking to a ride op we learned that none was trained to operate the ride, so it was closed all season.

I'm going today, my family basically owns the pavilions cause we have family reunions so often🤣

I love the pirate ship, haven’t been able to ride it the last few times I’ve visited Lake Winnie.

If I had a nickel for every single amusement park that started as a picnic area next to a lake and now has a historic roller coaster with the word cannonball in it Id have two nickels which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that happened twice

When I got on the cannonball on my first visit to lake Winnie me and my brother where screaming the entire ride and we where crying at the end and when me and my brother got off the ride every kid was laughing at me and my brother for it
