Actually it's not underrated. In the sites like Metacritic and IMDb; it's the 2nd highest rated movie (1st one is Spirited Away). Also it has %100 (givible highest score) in Rotten Tomatoes and only other anime movie has %100 is Only Yesterday. But you're right, it's an unpopular movie.

Astrallos because in Japanese the word “suki” means like or love, and the word for moon is “tsuki”. They sound very similar and because the girl is deaf she can’t pronounce correctly

Underrated opinion “Hello World” it was the first anime film I have ever watched I am a very not emotional person I have hard times crying, it was a great film and very sad. I couldn’t cry but I tried that’s what makes the film so good it even made me want to cry but I couldn’t. Thanks for reading this! Haven't watch the movie tho but I find it sad and I too had a very hard time crying or showing emotion, yeah call me heartless or inhuman all you want but I'll be honest with you. Not everyone get's emitional on sad movies it's not just because their heartless or inhuman is because they don't know how to express their emotions or having a hard time expressing them like mr so quit saying ' People who don't cry are heartless ' because I have enough of people saying this bullcrap!

I watched "Grave of the fireflies" but didn't cry. Instead, it left me with a feeling of emptiness and coldness that didn't pass for about two days. Truly a beautiful movie, even tho it's one of the saddest I've seen.

I think the reason why "i want to eat your pancreas" didn't make it most of the lists, it's simply because it's too "special" to be categorized as "saddest". It's beyond that. It's different feeling. Actually for some reasons it didn't make me cry, but it hit me so damn hard! I think just 'crying'or to be sad is not enough to express how beautiful that movie was.
