The scariest things in My Summer Car is having to drive +5000 km and having your fans increase the distance by spending money at you *cough* Martin *cough*
Jokke, aka the drunk guy, will unalive himself after realizing that he will never get his money back and his wife divorces him. You can find a note at his house attached to the door with his axe, cursing his wife and you and everyone else. You can also find his corpse at the highway bridge hanging via a rope. All in all, Jokke is almost the main guy who you interact with most of your game. If you decide to not steal the money, then after a certain amount of game time, he will give you a call that he has to move out, but he screwed up with picking up a TV set and fd up his back, to Peräjärvi (the town). You can always visit his place to find 2 guys in the living room, and Jokke, in the shower, surrounded with spirit bottles, be warned, drinking spirit will cause your character to go blind.
We in Finland have a name for guys like the "Man in the window" its "Ykä". Its basically like calling some one Karen but Ykä usually means male troublemaker.
no it's just all the 16 year olds on their bikes calling the "male karens" "Ykä" lol. Also an actual "Ykä" would probably come and confront the player, not just stare from the window
0:57 he appears when you commit a crime in my summer car well if your in the area hes in ( if you steal gas he will watch you and then he will snitch to teimo thats is how teimo always know that its you that steals gas or breaks his windows) hes a camera for teimo haha
One thing I always felt was unsettling is how static the game is. If you drive at dawn on the highway and look at the dark orange sky, it just feels so weird.
As my experience playing msc I can also admit something really scary is when you suddenly find teimo riding back to his house at night and accidentally you run him over The scary thing is not that you suddenly find him is who will sell you next day some goods? (Except if the day you run over teimo is on Saturday which the next day the shop will be 100% closed)
In my mind, judging by the location and everything, it's just gonna be another roadside gas station with a restaurant... which would still be kinda scary for Teimo, as these places also sell everyday groceries in most small places... ...trust me, I live in a town with less than 10 k people
Ngl, drunkard man has the saddest story out of all of this, his life is in shambles and some guy he trusted enough to tell him that he has a stash of loads of money just steals it. Desperately trying to get it back, he showed up weilding an axe, hoping for it to be returned, but he just gets knocked out. He hung himself on the bridge.

Yesterday I was inside Teimo's store at the time he closes and goes to the pub. Teimo teleported to the pub in front of me. Okay, this is normal. But when I jumped over the counter to follow him into the pub, he materialized again behind the counter and passed by my side. I didn't expect him there, he was already in the pub! I got a big scare. 😅
It's no secret that in My Summer Car, the protagonist's house is equipped with a television. Interestingly, from 10:00 PM to 10:00 AM, a broadcast break occurs, displaying a test pattern and playing the Kassinen1 composition. Now, imagine this scenario: you've inadvertently left the TV on during the day and decided to go to bed with all the house lights off. Suddenly, you wake up in the dead of night to find this "soothing" piano composition playing in complete darkness. Trust me, it can be downright terrifying, especially if you're unaware of this particular piece and it's your first time experiencing it. I've actually seen comments from people who were scared by this composition because they forgot to turn off their TVs. In my opinion, this is definitely worth including in the TOP 10 Scariest Things in My Summer Car. By the way, I once fell asleep to this composition between approximately 3:30 - 4:20 AM in real life.
I have to say I really like how professional your voice overs sound. I recently stumbled upon a video of MSC and thought they had hired a professional voice over artist.
Near our house there is always a chubby walker. Day and night it passes by the side of the road. There's no reason for him to be there, it's in the middle of nowhere! And during the night it gives some scares to unsuspecting players. Another strange figure in the game is that man on a boat who keeps passing by if he watches our routine.
I remember trying to get the wheels from the attic. Took the tractor and a trailer full of supplies and spent the night outside that building. Kinda creepy.
4:32 that is so creepy. That man inside the abandoned house where we get the weels don't scare me, but this ghost on the burned lake house gives me goosebumps.
Years ago in My Summer Car, a random door in the main character's house opened at midnight, it turned out to be a mistake and the developer quickly fixed it, but there were theories that the parents' ghosts were in the house.
@@user-in8ve1is2e I think that in finnish believes, and in many other, ghosts only inhabit the place, where they died at. And only if they held grudges, were cursed and binded to the location (which could be feasible option), or if they felt like they still had something important to accomplish on Earth. And seeing that the game is very much on point with how things were in 1995 (as far as I know from the things I've heard), I think it would also keep true to the believes at the time. Just my opinion though
Late comment but I always felt like some of the trees were super creepy, especially if I'm in a bad headspace. Also the droning of the boat engine can start sounding like words!
How about waking up at midnight and not being able to find your door or light switch, but you find the window and can barely see outside, so you just have to sit and wait or keep fumbling around thinking someone is going to come out of the darkness and murder you? Happened to me once. Well, not the murdering part.,
One thing you didn't mention about the Ventti Dealer that makes with a lot creepier is the lore behind him. I won't spoil anything though. Good video 👍

As I said with a guy, for me the cows sounds are just somewhere in alivieska not from the barn, I think that these are not the cows that died in the fire but from a farmer in alivieska and for me these are not scary as having people in my family, cows like to scream for no reason at all.
Scariest is that at 12pm, if you open doors at players house, might be lights off to work only, doors would randomlly close etc, there is video of that happen
Spoiler: Its a good list but I dont know if spaggetti people are that scary. I think something tha is more scary is, the fact that the drunk man dies if you take the money
The scariest thing I've experienced in my summer car is the time when i was driving around in uncles van at night while it was thundering. Something was so eerie.
The jumpscares also can be even with the rally cars, i remember when i was playing msc with my cousin and we decided to drive to Teimo through the grandma route and near strawberry fields the rally car was going towards us, and we screamed together at the same time, and fortunately we won't die then because i had the health mod installed
Oh christ, not Pena, when I first played MSC, way in the early days, i was a lot younger, almost had a heart attack from him barreling around the corners
