@RDhomemusic

I liked that idea as well but not only do I think it was due to stress but I don't she planned far ahead, cuz when you choose to start a business you need to be about 10 steps ahead, she was about maybe at best 1 or 2. Running a business is not easy especially when it comes to supplies, the payments and demand and provide. Think of something as simple as apple juice Provides: a person to drink something Demand: a lot of people like it Supplies: farmers grow apple trees year round Payment: they sell the product for a price that's fair yet at the same time everyone who helped make the apple juice gets their pay From the farmers to the employees who work at the store.

It's more or less impossible to develop an accurate software when the device itself doesn't have the prerequisite hardware, so yeah, the breathometer was relatively good on paper, but the sharks really should've seen an avalanche of lawsuits coming in when it turns out the damn app doesn't actually work properly.
@honestone490
@honestone490 3 года назад
The breathometer product is no different than many of these non contract thermometers sold which give inaccurate readings, Consider also electronic cooking thermometers which give you a wrong reading with the end result being that you could get sick off your undercooked food. They're still allowed to exist. Yet each could hurt someone just as severely with incorrect readings.

Toygaroo is a terrible idea. A rental service for cheap plastic toys? Kids aren't going to "outgrow" or "get bored" with them, they're going to *break* them. And now the company has to deal with not only acquiring and shipping more cheap plastic toys, they also have the broken ones that have been sent back. It's an idea that only works in theory. Once you put it into practice, it fails.

Toygaroo fell because of resource management? I figured that it would've been for major liability issues like broken toys hampering on profits. The deal never happened due to the product having massive sales before the Episode Aired, so they dropped the deal as it was a loan they didn't need.

I had a feeling Breathometer was going to be on this list. A fucking phone isn't designed to detect BAC and the microphone is only used to transmit sound.
@SangerZonvolt
@SangerZonvolt 3 года назад
If I understood it correctly it was an additional set of hardware you strap on to the phone, no? So it has nothing to do with the microphone and the phone is nothing more than a vancy display for an entirely different gadget. So in theory there is no problem with it, as long as the gadget can actually do what its supposed to.

Qubits looks like a good idea, but the problem is that you're competing with Lego, Kre-O, Erector Sets, Lincoln Logs and probably more. These are powerful, well established names that can even get major licensing deals on the regular. Glad to hear it survived though.

# 7: Really unfortunate that THAT product failed. Yet something as goofy as # 6 becomes wildly successful. One, 150 lumens is practically nothing. Two, constantly lifting up your feet means your eyes can't focus on anything in front of you. Three, you can get better results with a more powerful headlamp angled towards the ground. And I mean significantly brighter than a paltry 150 lumens. Which, by the way, if you know how the flashlight industry works; you know that _actual_ output is going to be roughly only 2/3rds of that 150. It's literally a cap-light that they attached to shoes! That's all it is.

Huh. Might need to look into Night Runner, as I like doing jogs in the extremely early mornings when it's still dark out. Instead I use a hanging light and a safety vest so any motorists can easily see me if I'm crossing a street/driveway. That Cactis Jack one is rather sad to hear. I'd like to learn more about why it fell through. Also I miss how people hugged each other all the time. Can't do that anymore.
