You forgot to mention that Scar had also convinced Simba that Mufasa's death was his fault. Carrying that guilt was what kept Simba out of the Pridelands all those years.
YamiNoGame geez are you dumb or something I believe there is someone on this comment field that you commented on that explains everything about scars motives and whatnot but you are still repeating yourself with: scar didnt make sure to see if he’s nephew was dead! Can you stop nag about it! Freaking read and if you dont feel like reading then you just stay silent alright!
YamiNoGame Yeah because he expected his hyenas to kill Simba. He didn’t know that the hyenas just assumed Simba would die, so technically, it was the hyenas fault for not doing their jobs...
Mother GOTHEL? This is a joke, right? Tell me you're joking. Gothel's not completely stupid but she's hardly among the smartest villains. She's the moron who a) let her "adopted" daughter keep the same birthday, therefore allowing said daughter to make the connection between the lanterns and her birthday, b) stayed in the same country she kidnapped the girl from, even if it was a hidden area, and c) allowed herself to be manipulated by a naive teenager.
Yet he didn’t make sure his nephew was dead and made the pride lands to be an unliveable mess. Don’t get me wrong Scar is very smart. He just doesn’t think ahead too much
YamiNoGame He did make sure by sending the hyenas. The hyenas just told him Simba was dead, so technically it was the hyenas who didn’t make sure Simba was dead
Really....Scar at number 7??!!! 😨😱😒😒😒..he achieve his goals.....not just for awhile, but for many years...he succeeded....so really at only number 7!??!!!😤😤😤
But there is some dumb things Scar did, like getting his hyena minions to kill his child nephew instead of killing him himself, and throwing his minions under the bus when he gets cornered.
Dr Facilier is one of the most mysterious and smartest villains. He has no backstory or anything. The reason why he's one of the smartest is because he was one of the only villians who never lied about what he said with one of his lines in his song to naveen "hopping to place to place" he did tell them what was going to happen but vaguely. Reasons why he's one of my favourite disney villians.
Numbers 5 through 1 are definitely villains I acknowledge as intelligent and patient beyond belief, but Scar is the original "I'm the smartest person in the room, and you're too stupid to know it." villain in my eyes.
Please what? He doesnt even deserve a spot on this list! After he took over the land as king all animals went away, all plants died and the river dried out. He somehow managed to accidently dry out an entire river. Seriously?!
Yeah, you’re right, Scar bragged about how smart he was, but he screwed up a lot. 1# He had the chance to kill Simba twice: He had the chance to kill him as a cub, but instead convinced him to run away and sent the hyenas after him instead and when he had him hanging over Pride Rock and was all ready to throw him off, but he just blabbed his mouth off; and he scolded the hyenas for failing to kill him because they blabbed off. 2# He called himself a better king than Mufasa was, but he clearly wasn’t since he basically destroyed the Pride Lands but still acted like, oh everything is fine, even a complete brainless idiot would know how horrible a king he was.
Braiden Mulvey he did try to kill Simba as a cub tho! He tricked Simba into going to the elephant graveyard and he did try to kill Simba with all those gnus only that he’s plan got ruin everytime
Braiden Mulvey i agree scar wasnt a better king than mufasa since all animals and the water was gone I agree but Thats the thing tho scar isnt supposed to be a good king! He’s a villian! He only cared about himself and what he wanted and he treated the hyenas as his minions! He was a very great villian! He tricks the minds of his enemies or anybody he wishes to use! He played mind games with Simba as a cub, Simba as a cub could never mean that scar was actually encouraging him to go to the graveyard
I don't agree with Jafar because he was so stupid in Aladdin. He could hypnotise the Sultan to give him the throne! Did he do it? No. He spent years searching for the lamp. Oh well, guess he'll always be *second best* .
I have disagree with Scar's placement. I personally think he should have been placed at #1, or at least the top 5 due to one simple reason: he is currently the only Disney villain whose evil scheme actually succeeded longer than the final act. Virtually every other Disney villain has that brief moment where all their planning and patience pays off and get what they want - power, fame, the death of a bothersome hero, etc. - only for it all come crashing down due to some unforeseen consequence of their actions, such as Judge Frollo being blinded by his hatred of Quasimodo/obsession with Esmerelda to the point he risked his life by climbing the ancient statues of Notre Dame, or are defeated in a timely fashion by the Prince Charming/hero, such as Maleficent meeting an untimely end at the hands of Prince Phillip, the three fairies, and a deux ex machina. Scar, on the other hand, beautifully manipulated everyone to his bidding, even the hyenas. He killed his own brother in cold blood with one of the most memorable villain lines in cinema history and was the only one to witness this, leaving only his nephew to be taken care of. Instead of outright attacking and killing him - as despite underfed and less health in comparison to his brother, he could have easily killed Simba and ruled the Pridelands until the day he died - he manipulates him into thinking that it was his fault that his father had died and falsely comforted him in his time of sorrow; he then acted as Simba's final ally, offering him the advice to run away and never return in order to escape the guilt and punishment of supposedly killing his father. Unlike other Disney villains, his plan apparently succeeded *FOR YEARS* because by the time Simba does back, he is full-grown, mature, and ready to face the consequences of his actions. Most other Disney villains will be lucky if they can even obtain their wicked desires for more than an hour or two at best, and these typically consist of villains who have dark powers at their fingertips. Meanwhile, a lion with no magical, supernatural, or dark powers to speak of simultaneously murders his own brother, chases away his nephew, and usurps control of an entire kingdom for years on end. The only reason that Scar didn't succeed was because he put too much faith in his lackeys. Being as intelligent, cunning, and conniving as he was, he was too quick to trust the hyenas' word that they had killed Simba and sealed his fate as King of the Pridelands without some kind of evidence to prove that they had completed the job. When his villainous scheme started to come crashing down around him, it was those same lackeys that he turned on in order to even grasp a chance of escaping punishment (or receiving a less severe one). And when he had finally been defeated and had nothing left, he made the final mistake of trusting the same lackeys that poked a big, fat, Simba-sized hole in his plans and the same lackeys that he tried to throw under the bus when push came to shove. I would also like to point out that in no other animated Disney movie (direct-to-video sequels don't count) did the villain's minions turn on him or even win. Oh, sure, Pain and Panic managed to escape punishment while Hades was thrown into a bottomless, swirling pit of pain, misery, and the vengeful spirits of the dead, and Kronk went on to live a wonderful, happy life after turning on Yzma, but none of them or any other minion(s) went toe-to-toe with their head honcho and brought about their demise. And thus, I rest my case. Long live the king.
Yer kidding right? He only reached his goal because every single character in Lion King has the IQ of a mosquito. How absolutely NO BODY ever got a hint of how this person might be slightly evil is beyond me: - He mentioned to Mufasa himself that he feels threatened by Simba's birth, he insults Mufasa and somehow Mufasa is too thick to get a hint that this lion might threaten his family! - And as you mentioned: Scar shóuld have killed Simba right there right then. He lets the hyena's do it, hyena's he called idiots several times and insults frequently (why they following him?) - Everybody just buys Scar's lies. Oke when he mentions that Mufasa and Simba are dead, that I can buy. But when Simba returns the lionesses STILL don't call Scar out when he quickly drags on about how Simba is in the fault. Yeah, SImba admits to this but is NOBODY gonna mention that Scar had lied to them?? He said Simba was dead too, yet here he is! - Scar pushes Simba over the edge of the priderock clif above a fiery pit. Why is NOBODY helping Simba??? Not his mother, not his girlfriend, not his friends. And Scar, what are you doing? You do know that if you kill Simba the pride aint gonna be too fancy about yer butt right? And then of course Scar reveals he did it and then fights Simba. WHY???? What are you DOING man??? What are you fighting for? Scar thought nothing through, and is a complete dumbass. - Bringing the hyena's into the pridelands, resulting in wasting the entire lands is probably his dumbest action. He's generic, bland and motivationless in an already overpraised, overflawed movie. And now I'm gonna flee fromt he angry crowds
I commend you for taking the opposite side in this argument. That being said, there are some things I have to point out. I will concede that Mufasa should have been suspicious of his brother, given how he both refused to attend Simba's debut to the Pridelands and made his disdain for the "little hair ball" abundantly clear. It should be noted however, that Mufasa probably does know that Scar is trouble, given his comment to Zazu after we first encounter Scar. That being said, Simba is a child and is thus oblivious to Scar's hatred for him as, at that time in the movie, he was something of a spoiled prince and thus believed that everyone adored him to one degree or another (also, it should be pointed out that at no point in the movie did Scar ever make his hatred for Simba known; he was just overly sarcastic most of the time, and most children don't understand sarcasm until a certain age). As for why Mufasa didn't question Scar when he claimed Simba was in danger . . . let's be real here: any good parent - which Mufasa *clearly* is - will ask questions later if their child is in danger and will risk everything to get them to safety. Regarding why Mufasa was so surprised by Scar's betrayal, I'm going to assume that he thought that, even though Scar didn't like him or his son, that he would still care about them enough to help them when they were in danger; as we all know however, he thought wrong. I will also concede that Scar, should he have wanted his planned to succeed, should have killed Simba right then and there himself. That being said though, the reason the hyenas follow Scar despite his constant belittlement is because he promised them an endless supply of food, "to never go hungry again". The reason for this is because the Pridelands and the Elephant Graveyard are likely two separate territories and the reason why the hyenas aren't allowed into the Pridelands is because they would essentially turn it into another Elephant Graveyard; unlike the lions, they don't care about the balance of nature, they just care about eating. Also, they're animals, and animals - especially apex predators, like hyenas and lions - are very territorial of what they consider theirs. As for why the lionesses aren't angry at Scar for lying to them when Simba returns to the Pridelands, there's the chance that they believed Scar was still telling the truth and that he assumed Simba had been killed; after all, if Mufasa - a full grown lion who took on and defeated three hyenas with ease, and their wise and just ruler, - died in a wildebeest stampede, what chance does a mere cub like Simba have of surviving? The fact that he survived (from their perspective, as I imagine Scar left out the hyenas, given how they so timely appeared after his speech). Now, as for why nobody came to Simba's aid during the final battle with Scar - *did you see how many hyenas there were?* What do you think everyone else was doing while Scar was trying to silently slip away and only Simba managed to catch him in all the chaos and carnage? I mean, for crying out loud, *Pride Rock was on fire!* As to why Scar revealed that he did, in fact, kill his brother, he had Simba in a position - a near identical position that his father had once been in, a position where he could have been saved *only* if someone had helped him - where he felt that he wouldn't survive and thus thought it was safe to tell him; I will concede however, that he probably mostly did it to stroke his ego. Finally, as for why Scar brought the hyenas into the Pridelands, he was keeping up his end of the bargain (arguably the only good thing he did during the whole movie). As for why he allowed the Pridelands to fall into ruin and not control the hyenas' ravenous hunger, it can be easily assumed that he is the kind of villain that wants power, but not the responsibility that comes with it; basically, he is a living example of what Simba could have been had he not either had his father's guidance, the tragedy of losing his father, the comfort and friendship of Timon and Pumbaa, the love of Nala, or the wisdom of Rafiki to shape him into the lion he is now. You're, of course, entitled completely to your opinion, but this is why I believe that you over-analyzing things a little bit.
Scar's plan actually works till the end. The only reason he couldn't keep his promise to the hyenas is because the hyenas didn't do his job. Honestly, I think Scar deserves a much higher position - but I admit that "smartest" doesn't distinguish between being strategic and being intelligent - and Syndrome certainly is intelligent.
Scar for me was the smartest Disney. He was the most evil in my eyes too. He was so vindictive, cold, lacked any kind conscience, and would do absolutely anything for the throne. Maybe a sociopath!! Omg Kerry....its a Disney film ..chill haha. Jeremy Irons was superb voicing him!! His voice had the right tone for evilness!!
Scar didn’t make sure Simba was dead. And he turned the pride lands into an unliveable state. Yeah his plan worked but he doesn’t think ahead more then the time it takes to sing Be Prepared
YamiNoGame He trusted that the hyenas took care of Simba, so it’s the hyenas fault for not making sure Simba was dead, and Scar’s for trusting the hyenas without maybe some kind of proof. Also, he told Simba he killed Mufasa for the satisfaction of the look on his face as he killed him the same way he killed his father.
@@ImAFatNerd90 His promise was that they wouldn't be hungry again. Well...they were hungry. That and hearing Scar blame THEM for what happened didn't help the situation.
It’s kinda a mixture of both. The hyenas were unhappy because Scar didn’t keep his promise to feed them, and when he blamed the hyenas for Mufasa’s death, it just pushed them over the edge, so they killed Scar.
This is just my opinion, but I think Frollo is a pretty good contender. I was very "impressed" on how he was able to manipulate and trick his foster son into revealing the location of his enemies. And just follow them with an army without getting their cover blown like it's no problem for him. I guess he also knows how to use his power to make all the citizens of Paris fearful of him, and to make soldiers loyal to him as well. He most likely lies his ass off to his superiors since he's not the king, but he might as well be. Too bad he was so superstitious for his own good, and I dunno why it took him 20 years to find the Court of Miracles, but whatever.
Hopper was one of the few villains in existence to acknowledge the fact despite he and his army/gang were intimidating, they still shouldn't underestimate their opponents, mainly because they were outnumbered.
Lt. Basil Lol those characters are NOT main characters. Their deaths weren’t super significant to the plot of the movie and the movie would have gone on nearly the same.
@@scar4599 You kidding? Ray wasn't a main character, sure, but Kerchak definitely was. He was the reason Tarzan worked his butt of to get so strong. Until Jane came along the main thing Tarzan was concerned about was just getting a little recognition from him. Without Kerchak the movie would have been VERY different.
Lt. Basil Maybe so but he didn’t have as much presence in the actual film. Mufasa’s death changed the whole course of the movie and the plot is based around Mufasa dying.
How smart can he be? Jaffar has the ability to manipulate the sultan (not hard to brainwash a guy that’s let's be real is a big dummy) and thereby control of the kingdom threw that. Yet the whole movie, he sought the power of the sultan that he already has. His set up was even better because he can control the sultan like a puppet and do whatever he wants with no consequence to him
Jafar didn’t even know what to wish for after he got the lamp he went threw so much trouble to get. Yeah he wished to be sultan (eventually) but he can brainwash the sultan to do whatever he wants so he basically is the sultan puppet master. And how much brain power does it take to take over that bumbling sultan’s brain?
Disagree with being included: 1. Clayton is a villain who would not have gotten away with his manipulation if the protagonists used their nogans. Two of the three protagonists were not particular bright, and the other was distracted. A more witty protagonist would have seen through all of it. Oh and theres the vine thing. 2. Hopper: Glad he was included, knowing his weakness and tricking them into believing it's the other way around was absolute genius. He could learn a thing or two from Shaun yu on Strategry though, which I knocked him off for. My opinion 10. Ernesto De La Cruz: Honorable Mention? The guy manipulated the world both in life and death. It literally took his being dead for 50 or 60 years to get busted, and it was by freak accident (Miguel ending up in the under world and mistaking him for his granfather--take that plot detail out and Ernesto gets away with everything) Tricky Tricky fella that ascended through ranks through manipulation of the public, his 'friend' Hector, and so many others in ways that varied by need 9. Buddy Pyne: I think you have a strong Incredibles bias. From the technology angle: Yoaki was stronger. From a strategy angle: Shaun Yu was stronger. He has almost no charm, and his whole basis of evil is. . .he was rejected in his youth? During a serious fight? He took it so personally that he decided to create an organization to take down what he once idolized being instead of proving himself better than his once idol thought he could be? He is very intelligent, The Incredible movies are fantastic, but on an intelligence list I included him personally for courtesy since I agree with most your list, but honestly I was tempted to rank him 11th (leaving out Maleficent feels treasonous when talking about intelligent Disney villains, or Frollo for that matter, but alas both their reasonings were equally flawed and I can't consider Maleficent's live-action re-telling of Sleeping Beauty on a list based on single films--and in that film she wasn't a true villain anyway.) 8. Jafar: Huge snub, I may be snubbing him still ranking him down here, but this guy turned an intimate object that is not historically known for hypnotic abilities into one that can do so with little to no preparation. He trained a Parrot of all things to more than assist, but actually plot right along with him. He tricked a street smart and rightfully intelligent in his own right among heroes "Aladdin" into doing his bidding, even outsmarted a Genie! He also worked his way up into a position to do all this from a background that was just as dire as the namesake's own, he too started on the streets. That's manipulation. i do know him down though for falling for such an obvious trick that given his long term plotting, he should have caught immediately--though I credit him that in the moment we all make mistakes. I also question why he didn't just out right kill Aladdin instead of relying on methods where you don't see a dead body. Glad he didn't though--Aladdin is a brilliant hero, and there's no story without him:) 7. Shaun Yu: Very intelligent strategist, who is more modern than his adversary, luckily Mulan was that much better. The fact he didn't have any pause in accepting that a girl outdid him, only that he was outdone, says a lot about his character. 6. Dr Facilier: Excellent choice including him, he's often forgotten about when people think about the great villains. He's a master manipulator, but he trusted bigger master manipulators and was done in. 5. Ursula: Incredible charmer, magically inclined, and has a lot of 'street' smart. 4. Yoaki: You don't build all that without incredible intelligence, and he can be related to. Glad he was included, but felt he deserved a higher rank 3. Scar: Way under-rated on this list. He amassed an army of idiots, succeeds, and doesn't really have a mis-step until the very end. 2. Hades: Charm, trickster, and oh yeah a God, He does have bad taste in hiring, but as you said, he would have succeeded if not for a mistake that wasn't entirely his fault. The real Hades of course would never have hired such dumb henchmen. Of course the real Hades wasn't also not pure villain, all the Greek Gods go back and forth between protagonists and antagonists. 1. Bellweather: Being incredibly racist, and in a position that is without any actual power, she changed her entire world. She reversed progress, name someone who has done that entirely on their own????
Bellwether ? Changed the world ? Are you on meth ? She did JACKSHIT. She drugged predators into wild animals only to let the Mayor get hold of them and quarantine them from the public. That's exactly how NOT to make predators look bad. Secondly, once she's elected Mayor, does shemake racial laws, segregation ? NO, she does absolutely nothing with her newfound power. She didn't reverse SHIT. She didn't even think through of the consequences of what if that single smart cop finding clues would have eventually gotten to her. Stop acting like this fucking one dimensional Scooby Doo villain is good, please....
TBH Syndrome was nothing more than a big baby that got butthurt over Mr. Incredible looking out for him. I mean that stupid kid almost got blown up in the beginning and didn’t even thank him for saving his life, no he gets offended because his hero told him to go home, translation “Quit following me, you’re too young to even fight a minor villain, and I not only have to constantly protect others, but now I have a stalker that’s a waay higher chance for you to be killed” I mean with his children even if supers were legal I’m sure none of them would be able to use their powers until at least 18. Honestly Mr. Incredible could’ve said something like “You can do amazing things with that big brain of yours, you can become a different kind of hero” But no, Syndrome literally preyed on depressed heroes struggling to live normally promising them glory just to be snuffed in an elaborate cage fight with toys even he couldn’t control
I would put Judge Frollo on the list. Sure he’s delusional, narcissistic, sociopathic, racist, perverted, mentally ill, psychotic and pure evil, but he’s not stupid. He’s actually very smart and quite a competent. I mean he lied to Quasimodo for 20 years and pretended to be his friend and was successful at tricking Quasimodo into believing him.
No King Candy/Turbo in the top 3? The guy literally reprograms an entire game to make himself its most central character, reducing its true central figure into a glitchy outcast and locking everyone's memory in the process. On top of that, he made his ruse so well no players noticed Vanellope was never in the roster rotation and that he was never a legitimate character in the game to begin with. Bogus list.
How exactly is Cruella Deville smart? She is a raging madwoman committing major crimes to get some random dog puppies for a fur coat that she probably could have gotten completely legally by throwing some money at animal shelters and breeders, if she hadn't insisted on wanting just those puppies from her friend. Plus she repeatedly risks getting herself and others killed in a car crash. She would make a high rank on a list of the most stupid Disney villains.
Good help is so hard to find. If Maleficent had some decent henchmen she would have found Aurora years earlier. Once she sent the raven out she found her almost immediately.
@@gurvmlk Maleficent is extremely intelligent. She captured Prince Philip who only escaped due to the 3 fairies & was about to turn him into burnt toast until the fairies intervened again.
Syndrome at #1?Bro,get your facts right! He certainly failed to do was consider two things. 1.He failed to realize that the Omnidroid was too smart for its own good and it turned against him 2.He really should've taken off that cape!
I missed Mother Gothel in this list. Not only did she manipulate Rapunzel into believe she was a loving mother (even resulting into Rapunzel feeling guilty when she just left the tower with Flynn), but the way she manipulated Flynn's former assistants, only to betray them, once she no longer needed them... That was a very very clever trick. Also nobody in the kingdom ever found out she kidnapped Rapunzel and if Flynn didn't cut Rapunzel's hair, she would even have won. And maybe Turbo needs to be here too... The way he manipulated princess Veneloppe out of her own game, by turning her into a "glitch" required masterful thinking, and if Ralph's arcade machine was not straight across Veneloppe's he would never have found out how things really were. Very clever planning. Ratigan maybe needed to get an actual spot in the list and not just be an honorable mention. True, Basil has an extremely high IQ when it comes to science, which comes out when he knows when to set the machine of death off at exactly the right moment in order to make it destroy itself, but even the smartest brain cannot outclass that quick thinking. Ratigan managed to predict that Basil could use chemistry to find his hiding place when Fidget lost the list (which is exactly what Basil did), initally he punishes Fidget with Felicia, but changes his mind as he sees the oppertunity to lure Basil into a trap (which also happened) and he was also able see through Basil's disguise. Not to mention, would he normally go berserk when somebody calls him a "rat", he knew that he'd lose his "war" if he would go berserk when Basil called him a "rat" so he kept his self-control by just closing his watch. Ratigan is a smart guy. And were was Judge Doom? That guy managed to infiltrate the real world and nobody knew he was a toon. The sex affair + murder plot he set up was brilliant and not easy to see though, and the way he could frame Roger Rabbit for the crime, since it was Jessica who was (unwillingly) involved in the plot. Doom thought it all out, and how did he manage to acquire the title of judge? He must have played very smart games for that!
Can you make Another Top 10 Smartest Animated Disney Villains countdown video with all of the honorable mentions listed and included in that countdown, please?
Fun fact: Jim Cummings had to help Jeremy Irons with vocals on be prepared. Because Jeremy irons voice kept cutting out. It’s mostly at the end of the song.
the coachman from pinocchio could be the most brilliant and here are some reasons: 1. He turns Boys into Donkeys 2. He sells them to slavery 3. He Doesnt have to do the work 4. He Never Gets Caught
Claude Frollo from Hunchback of Notre Dame got away with mass genocide without anyone noticing, manipulated every one of the main characters without looking bad and then almost exterminated every Gypsy from Paris. Anyways, he's not even on the list. ??????
Ms Mojo, you forget Hans: He has manipulative skills and manage to manipulate Anna. Also, he can strategies how to take down enemies like when he chopped of Marshmallows foot. He should be on your list.
Obviously Sikes from Oliver and Company should be here, the man had a plan to shake a homeless guy down for money and when that failed he tries to kidnap A little girl for ransom then is foiled by a cat and a few dogs...
Watto almost dumber than Evelyn from Incredibles 2. She wants to make Super heroes illegal by helping her brother make them legal again, then mind control said heroes into performing a villainous act to make them illegal again.
Sikes was a loanshark that was simply waiting for his money back, but then nearly kills poor Jenny by chasing Fagen on the freaking subway. Not to mention he has one of the most horrifying Disney deaths considering he got blown up by a train, and one of the dogs got electrocuted to death.
Well,he couldn't create a deadly giant robot to destroy his enemies, could he?Then again,he's a lion, and in his world, modern technology is impossible to achieve;then again,The Incredibles live in the 60s,a time where advanced technology is supposed to be impossible to create, even in the superhero world!
I personally think Ursula is the smartest Disney Villian of all time,, because Ursula actually planned out and had documents and also she knew exactly how to get Ariel because she knew the hacks on how to get someone to do anything you want she knows that if you seem as if there's a rush that makes the chance higher of the person doing what you want them to do. Ursula played everyone like a game of Chess, and she scored checkmate.
Smartest villain? No way. Though I'll give you he's one of the most intriguing in that he really doesn't see why what he is doing is wrong. He has a God complex. He would be my number one on two lists: 1. Creepiest Villains (His lust for the gypsy girl and more or less forcing slave labor out of a deformed child is wow) and 1. Villains whose motivations and characteristics are a direct comment on modern day events. I just don't see him as overly intelligent. People trusted members of the church with almost no question in that period of time. It's not like he had to be a master manipulator, and he practically raised Quasimodo so again, not much manipulation required. The gypsy never fell for his manipulation, and he allowed his lust to completely distract his overall goals. In fact, he forgot the very reason he did everything he did over lust. . .
Scar actually would be at number 1. He does not have the lion's share of brains, that's an understatement. Scar is far over intelligent. He's the best, worst and smartest Disney villain.
8:26 You really should have mentioned that Bellweather's timing in turning on Judy -- combined with her manner in executing the betrayal -- further demonstrates her Machiavellian cleverness.
This list is not exactly short on Twist villains (with around three or four in this list, depending on how you classify Clayton), but Hans' status as Disney's most notorious "twist villain" (and number one in two MsMojo "Disney villain twist" videos) means it is a bit of a surprise MsMojo haven't mentioned him....
@@blandinebruneau7379 Biggest plot twist in Disney History? Bigger than Ernesto being Hector's killer? Bigger than Bellweather's racist plot as a mere meek sheep in a secretarial role? From our side it was a big twist sure, but he manipulated a naive little girl who knew nothing of love, nothing of friendship. A shielded Anna who knew nothing of politics. He wasn't brilliant, his rouse took very little effort. Anna's ignorance on the subjects were easy targets. Had he been able to make Elsa fall in love on the other hand, I'd agree with you on this one. . .but he simply took the path of least resistance. . .
Biggest *what?!* Er, noooooooo. So, let's see, it's bigger than: King Candy is Turbo (Wreck-It Ralph Bellwether is the one drugging predators (Zootropolis) De la Cruz killed Hector, Miguel's actual great-great-grandfather (Coco) Te Fiti and Te Ka are the same person (Moana) Cornelius is Lewis in the future (Meet the Robinsons) Muntz is bad (Up) Yes? Are you sure? OK, whatever 😒😒😒
Their cunning and humor make them fantastic villains, Ursula's song doesn't hurt either or the fact that she's one of the only villains who's henchmen aren't complete idiots and who actually cares about those she employs. Hard not to love someone which as much humor or cool as Hades has. He's often called hot headed, but I don't really think he is, it takes a lot to piss him off.
7# place the villian, with the most Meticulous plan and the one villian that managed to manipulate the all of the other characters? P.S.And the one that at least managed to succeed for a big period of time!
I agree with the list but scar could be changed with syndrome. That is because although syndrome is really smart, it took him all his life working to only Come close to achieving his goals. Scar on the other had got what he wanted in a well though plan that was executed within a Day. Sth simillar could be said about Dawn Bellwether as well since she managed to accomplidh her goals as well. Amazing that the only villains in Disney that stayed in power for a long period of time, both were aninals
Surely special mentions to the Pinocchio villains, who are smart enough to lay low enough in the background in the schemes that they never actually get caught or defeated. Also props to the Queen from Snow White for stopping mid gloating to consider a possible flaw in her plan. Her plot otherwise isn't exactly rock solid but "Nothing must be overlooked!" is a pretty impressive quote for a cartoon villain.
How was Amos Slade smart? Yes he waited for Widow Tweed to free Todd in a preservative but the dude literally got stuck in his own bear trap, I get they were covered, but he literally went in only to kill a neighbor’s fox that didn’t even attack Chief but ducked to avoid a train, while unable to admit Chief was getting old.
@@jameshowe8688 His comment appears to state as much. manipulating a baby from birth as if your her mother doesn't make you smart--it just makes you very very evil, and on a list of the most unforgivable villains, she'd rank high along with Cruella, Frollo, The Evil Step Mother, and Maleficent. . .
