I KNEW IT WOULD BE “CROSSING THE LINE” I KNEW IT YESSSSS

I really thought "Everything I Ever Thought I Knew" was going to make the cut. People really sleep on Zachary Levi. His performance is astounding and honestly his voice is just dreamy.

Reasons why this show is amazing: 5. It introduces new character while making old ones even more beloved 4. The comedy/Suspense (Tie) 3. Amazing Plot 2. Amazing Character Development 1. Varian No explanation needed.

Eden and Jeremy’s talent make this show so enjoyable, they both have the best songs in the show hands down! Ready as I’ll ever be is an anthem and Crossing the line is also iconic.

When I saw "Ready as I'll Ever Be," my writer brain went into overdrive as I took in the amazing brilliance of the theme. It envelopes every character's arc into one simple, repetitive theme, shows Varian's betrayal and descent, Cassandra finally getting a chance to prove herself, Rapunzel's dad finally seeing that Rapunzel can't just be protected forever, and envelopes all this into ONE. PHRASE. ALL OF IT IN ONE SHORT SONG. IT WAS AMAZING.

"bigger than that" is CRIMINALLY underrated!! i'm always dissapointed that it's never on any of these lists! it is SO SO SO good and in my opinion definitely somewhere in the top 5 of the shows songs! it deserves so much more appreciation

It is a crime Eugene's Everything I Ever Thought I knew wasn't at least an honorable mention!

Beautiful analysis of Waiting In The Wings and how, even though we think of it as this huge performance number for Cass, she's actually utterly alone for the whole of it...and she's probably never FELT more alone in her life :(

So many people wanted Eugene to betray Rapunzel. It would've been a cool storyline but it would make absolutely no sense. That's not what Eugene's character had grown into, he was fearful of the thought of betraying Rapunzel whereas Cassandra's character story was built up to it since season one. Eugene betraying Raps would have made absolutely no sense

11:18 This hurts especially because everyone knows Raps can take care of herself and doesn't need protecting, Cass does as well. But that's still the task she was assigned to and what she felt her purpose was on this journey: protecting Raps. So to hear her so blatantly state that she in a sense isn't needed hurt her, even if that was never Raps' intention and Cass was well aware that Raps can take care of herself.

I love how crossing the line has two meanings. She's crossing the line by making her own boundaries but she's also going down a dark and treacherous path which she probably won't be able to come back from. I love this show omg😭

Funny enough, "ready as I'll ever be" was actually the reason I found the show. I saw a Percy Jackson animatics for it, and wanted to know where this beautiful song came from, looked it up, and realized it was from Tangled the series. I had heard of the series before, but never watched it, but after watching a few more animatics, I decided to check it out. Right now I'm halfway through season 3, and I absolutely love it. "Ready as I'll ever be" will still be always my favorite, and the reason why I even got into this fandom. Thank you song!

I think the Sun and Moon incantations were made to be chanted just because... them singing randomly kinda undermines the seriousness of the situation.

That song Cassandra shares with her childhood self nearly made me cry alongside the moment. For once the music in this Disney series really does make you feel Anything!

I love both Nothing Left To Lose and Ready As I'll Ever Be are my two favorites and I can't pick just one. They are both so amazing and sound so Broadway. I heard both of those from other things and didn't know where it was from and I thought it was from a Broadway musical but when I looked through the comments or something I found out it was from this show. Hearing both of those convinced me to watch the show because I wanted to know the context and also see about other great songs. There are other great songs but those 2 are the best. The next ones that I like the most are Crossing The Line, Waiting In The Wings, and Let me Make You Proud and idk which ones I like more with those ones

These were really great choices. Both Ready As I'll Ever Be and Crossing the Line have such good catchy beats that it would be kind of hard for me to choose one over the other. Waiting in the Wings is also really solid. The image of young and older Cassandra singing together during the reprise always hits so hard for me. I think that Everything I Ever Thought I Knew is one of the best songs in the series. It does such a fantastic job to showcase Eugene's identity crisis during the season two finale and how he does have some self worth issues from his childhood despite all of his confidence. The line "I thought no one could love me" was just so honest and painful. It also gets me every time. Not to mention Zachery Levi was terrific in that performance. Eugene really should have gotten a few more songs, but the ones he did get were really great. I also really liked Take that Moment Back during the season two premiere. Next Stop Anywhere is the stand out song of that premiere, but Take that Moment Back was pretty relaxing to listen to despite the sad tone. Plus, I like the whole characters having a duet despite being in different locations. I agree that the series is so criminally underrated. It had so many great characters, songs, was engaging to watch from the start and had a satisfying conclusion. Hopefully it will get more attention now that the full series is on Disney+.

Another video giving Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventures the attention and love it truly deserves. Love to see it

I just got into this show in May so I'm late to the party, but ugh yes there are so many great songs! Ready As I'll Ever Be is my personal favorite, but Crossing the Line is definitely in my top 5. (For anyone who is starved of content about this show and likes to read, I'm promoting one of my favorite AO3 fics (technically a series) called The Ones Who Bloom in the Bitter Snow, which is basically a more intense and complex retelling of the show from Cass' perspective, with a lot more emphasis on Zhan Tiri/magic stuff. Seriously guys it's not even halfway done and it's over 300k words and SO GOOD)

Crossing the line is my favorite song from this series (I could also see icy from winx club (because if they make a s9 and bloom finds out icy's backstory and understand how she feels) or chloe from miraculous ladybug (because she tried to be good for ladybug but she never really gives her the bee miraculous that much and got tired of waiting) singing that song)

Honorable mentions: I’d give anything, With you by my side, bigger than that, and if I could take that moment back 10. Listen up. Granted the episode it’s in is kinda dull but this was definite highlight plus we see the captain singing. 9.Buddy Song. A really good and fun duet between Eugene and Lance that best describes their friendship while tripping balls. 8. Wind in my hair. A song that really sets up the series and makes you want to go on an adventure. 7. Life after happily ever after(original and finale). What can I say that hasn’t been said. 6. Waiting in the wings. A great solo number for Cass. 5. Make you proud. How could I not put this on? 4. Set yourself free/ Girl who has everything. I think these are the best Rapunzel solo numbers personally. 3. Everything I ever thought I knew. A very overdue solo for Eugene. 2. Ready as I’ll ever be/ Nothing left to Lose. Kinda cheating but I couldn’t pick between these two. 1. Next stop anywhere. Honestly I love the harmonies and this sets up the status quote for the second season perfectly.

I was one of the few that realizes quite quickly that eugen’s betrayal was a trick. I realize that Rapunzel journey only end at seeing the moonstone. They were at the dark kingdom but not the final place. So I was expecting the real betrayal. I was expect Cassandra or one of the brotherhood. That transformation was epic
