Great job. I use a lot of these even before Healthy Keto. I’ve been eating this lifestyle for almost 3 yrs now. What I’ve noticed is magnesium is needed for those that eat a lot of Dairy and make baked goods with Almond flours as these are high calcium. Calcium can lower magnesium so you need a balance. the body requires way more mgs of potassium and much lower amounts of magnesium. & caffeine such as coffee, tea, chocolate and some sodas can inhibit the absorption of vitamins and minerals and increase their excretion from the body....supplementation is so beneficial on or off ANY diet. Whenever you excrete you loose electrolytes and you may experience INCREASE of this when mowing, exercise etc or even just high water intake bc excreting (urinating or sweating) lowers electrolytes. Your symptoms can vary.....(look up) but anxiety and panic attacks, high blood pressure and palpitations are some also. We really need to consume a lot of green leafy veggies daily and most don’t. If your experiencing poor gut health your body can not absorb the nutrients due to the stomach acids being off. So a probiotic might be added to the regimen....D deficiency adds to the problem as well when your bones soften your loosing minerals. I’ve used these types of supplements and another for trace minerals....sea kelp....from Iceland since their area is least possible of contaminates. This helps with even iodine since ppl avoid white table salts and use more high mineral varieties a lot of those have no iodine. Iodine is vital for so many necessary functions and provides protection. Thank you great run down. I usually specify Mk7 version of K2 bc they do market others and in softgel form since its fat soluble it helps absorption. If anyone wants to try Natto ....lol the highest known source!!! Thanks again👌 enjoy ur channel!
I just came upon this video of yours, which you produced a year ago. I appreciate knowing more about you and totally appreciate all the info you gave here! Such a blessing!
I had NO IDEA Charlie horses were a common sign/symptom of keto flu. I know mine were from electrolyte imbalance. Although I take several supplements - potassium, magnesium & sodium are not on that list. I'm getting back on the keto wagon tomorrow & I'll be sure to include those supplements 😁😁😁
Thank you for such great information.. I love you channel and your recipes.. I have been on Keto for 2 years now, started because I am a double lung transplant and the prednisone was keeping the pounds on me. Keto took them off and made me feel great. I also use the Perfect Keto Collagen as well. I have osteopenia because of the prednisone and figured I had nothing to lose. My transplant team has had me on Mag 64 twice a day for almost 5 years post transplant because it is supposed to help with the kidneys. Guessing because Prograf will burn them up... Oh and I just received my order of Liviva Rice yesterday can't wait to have it in a recipe tonight. It was on backorder and took a hot minute to get it... Thanks again from Oklahoma... ✔
Such great info! I have been Keto for a year and a half and I feel nutrient diversity is something I truly lack. I have been looking for ways to supplement my diet. I also live in the PNW. Thank you so much for your channel!
Great content. I am a nurse and I knew I should use an electrolyte supplement when I started Keto. I ordered one, but it didn’t arrive by my goal start day so I started Keto without it. Truly, it was a mistake. I was so sick that first week and into the second week and I’m sure my electrolytes were off. It did feel like the flu with horrible headaches, dizziness and fatigue. I was so weak I could barely walk up a flight of stairs without feeling weak. I had a couple of the most excruciatingly painful calf cramps I have ever experienced. Really dumb on my part for not waiting on my supplement. Unfortunately, I could not find an electrolyte supplement locally that didn’t have a lot of sugar though. I’ve been taking Dr. Berg’s electrolyte powder, Keto Perfect collagen and I added magnesium to my bedtime routine. I’m going to checkout some more of your recommendations. TY for sharing your expertise!
Oh wow Jayne. That sounds very unpleasant. I'm glad you electrolyte supplement finally came. I've been there before too. Luckily, I work at the pharmacy and we always sell Sodium Chloride 1gram (have it behind the pharmacy counter). I've had a couple times where I had a horrible headache and nausea from low sodium so I'll purchase that bottle and within 30 minutes feel 100% better.
@@KetoFocus I looked at single supplements of Na, K and Mg when I was feeling so horrible, but I wasn’t sure about dosage and it made me nervous to try and guess. I did add extra pink Himalayan salt to food and even to water, but it just wasn’t enough. My results have been fantastic doing Keto OMAD and I feel great, but that first couple of weeks were rough. I hope people see your video before they start so they can be informed and not have to suffer, be discouraged or possibly quit and think Keto is not working for them. I believe that may happen a lot. Keto is a bit complicated with managing macros correctly and understanding hormones/insulin, etc. Thank you so much for ALL of your content. I know I can always trust your recommendations, recipes and ideas!😊
I love making what I call salty lemonade, just water, fresh lemon juice (I like a lot of lemon so I will use the juice of one whole lemon) and I like it pretty salty so I like a level teaspoon of pink Himalayan salt. It’s very delicious but it can also have a cleansing effect so don’t drink more than one glass of it each day.
I’ve been in Keto “diet”/lifestyle for two months along with intermittent fasting; currently OMAD to help speed up weight loss now (down 23 lbs, and feel like my brain is clearer). In last week, I’ve gotten slight headache and wake up in middle of the night with leg cramps-no idea it was Keto flu. I do add salt and pepper to food and usually have a half or whole avocado…. What about a multivitamin for seniors (Turn 65 in Feb) Glad I found your channel; especially the lasagne recipe 😃
Hi, I’m sorry but what’s your name? I love your infos but I’m a visual person. Would be possible that you can list the names of the important things in keto diet like essential food and ingredients to always keep, the supplements etc.? Thank you.
I’m so glad I came across your video. Earlier I was just thinking I needed to research some combo vitamin options because I’m taking so many supplements! How do you keep up with taking everything? Right now I take daily: AM; vitamin D, C, B complex, probiotic. PM; Magnesium, ACV, & Psyllium caps. I also add Mineral drops in my water. It seems like so much!
Beef liver will take care of a lot of vitamins. Eggs are eggcellent too! Oh and this is a link to better tasting beef liver: shop.carnivoreaurelius.com/?gclid=Cj0KCQjw1a6EBhC0ARIsAOiTkrFEkD7lTqw5dG6R7mijW2VCRrmfQY50AfFFqwRgsJRpE1wvkzqFYb4aAp7OEALw_wcB
This was extremely helpful to me. I appreciated your professional opinion. ... And I ordered the Ancestral Supplements with your code. I eat chicken livers sometimes, but it is not something I am going to be eating every week or even every two weeks. So I'll take the supplements (I got both that you use because I am never eating brain!), but I will skip the supps for a few days when I do eat chicken liver.
What if you want to go keto but don't can't really afford it? Should one not go on keto even if the have DMII? Thank you for all your valuable videos, Annie.
I take the medication Toprol ex 50 Tramadal wn Meloxican Hydrochorothiazida 25 mg Calcium Ok so I’m just wanting to know, and with the stuff u suggested Do u take all this at on seating Like first thing in the morning
I take some of my pills in the morning. The organ meat pills, I take three times a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner). And I take the magnesium at night. One a daily basis, I just take magnesium, organ pills, mehtylfolate, vitamin k, and minerals.
How do you incorporate supplements when you’re IF. I get sick taking supplements on empty stomach and some supposed can’t be taken too close to bed time. Thanks
Hi I’m wondering about collagen and whether or not it actually helps your joints because most supplements are type I and III so they should be great for your hair, skin, nails and healing but do they actually do anything for your joints?
I want to buy one because these altogether are costly. I am extremely tired, have leg cramps. I have to take a nap every day, since I’m keto! I have been taking Mg, D3, and Biotin already. I’m debating the minerals or the am ancestral beef (which sounds so gross!). Any suggestions?
How long have you been doing keto? It could be you’re electrolytes too. I love the ancestral Supplements. I noticed a huge difference when I started taking them.
Oh my goodness. I have MTHRF same gene defect also. Actually take a pill for it. Hubby has it too. Once I took the pill, within 3 days I felt like a light switch was turned on! Can we get the version you take? Mine is about $90 for 3 months.
I love this [Go here === *2WeightLossFast. Com* book! I do wish there were more recipes and photos of recipes however she writes clearly why one is to eat a certain way and why it works! And it works! I lost 30 lbs in a month without even following the suggested work out plan. And I felt great. No bloating or sickness. I have crohns disease and this diet really helped with my symptoms.
Ancestral Supplements has a very high rated Collagen pill. The pharmacist has vouched for the quality of this company's products and you can see that out of almost 800 reviews on Amazon, it's rated 4.8 out of 5.
Are all the supplements you recommend lactose free ?... I'm trying to find out where I can buy lactose free supplements for zinc and magnesium in the UK. I'd like to find a good supplier for Magnesium Bath salts as well for soaking your feet or making the magnesium oil to spay on your skin.
I usually do because most supplements tend to upset my stomach when I take them. The sodium and potassium, you can have on an empty stomach if you need to take those.
See this is what kills me about the keto diet - if we can’t get all our nutrients from the food then we shouldn’t be on this diet. Same with electrolites.
she must either make a heck of a lot of money or get her's free. There is no way, being on a limited income. Poverty according to the federal government Thai I could afford them. I can eat liver and heart in fact I actually like them the hearts are hard to find and brains an spleen are even harder to find,
Keto is just weird, like if you are low energy you need to go back on carbs. Why would you take something out of your life that gives you energy for the day to conquer.
Keto should not be followed by healthy people, and there must be medical supervision. If you want to lose fat or cellulite then definitely try the Agoge diet, it worked wonders for me.
I find your first statement very curious...and erroneous. The Ketogenic Life Style is healthy for everyone. And as far as "medical supervision" I found that laughable...most medical doctors are not allowed to suggest or prescribe the diet....not because it's not good but because if they do, they'll lose their position at the hospitals where they work. Big Pharma controls all of them. I fought Type II for a decade and was given every pill and injection they had. I kept getting worse. I finally stopped taking everything, researched for well over a year, and found that Keto was the most logical "fit"....I lost fat and weight within a month and a couple of months after that, when I had a blood check my doctor came in and said, "OK....What have you done?" and I said, "Why are you asking?" and she said, "Because ALL of your labs are in the normal range (mind you, my blood sugar had reached a dangerous 500 before I stopped the meds, etc. ) I told her that I researched and decided to follow the keto diet....and what did she say? "Ohhhh yes....I know about the Keto Diet...it's a GOOD ONE for diabetics".....and I just looked at her. I finally said, "SO....why have you never mentioned it to me these last 10 years?" and she just shrugged her shoulders and walked out. Another Red Flag that popped up when I read your comment is the Agoge diet is just a copy of Keto....it helps not only burn fat but also burn belly fat. And any diet can be considered as good diet if it also helps to stay healthy and strong. Apparently, though you have unethically posted your comment because you are trying to get people to come to your site....or the site and group you work with.
I really wish I had find the *2WeightLossFast. Com* years ago. For 3 weeks of using the programs, I lost TWELVE lbs Of course I work out more than once a week, and also eat right. The effect presented to me is astounding. Without a doubt, this is strongly recommended and I do hope this would give good results to you too since it did to me
How about just telling us what type of supplement instead of trying to sell us specific company's products, it kills the authenticity here. Starts to feel more like a qvc shopping channel
I told you all the supplements I take and recommend. These are all products I love. I wouldn’t endorse them if I didn’t stand by them. I offer savings codes for the viewers if they want to try them. It’s up to you to try them or not. Most of these supplements I recommend, I don’t receive any affiliate commission.
