Top 10 Things Men in Black: International Did Right and Wrong 

Just saw it. Not terrible but pretty underwhelming

They should have made Riza the main villain!

I watched all the men in black movie So much nostalgia and why didn't they include agent J and K

M could’ve been given a solid back story and motivation to unravel the truth. Perhaps if one of her parents died and she was the only one that saw it. And the death being related to the main villain in some way. Then give us just one villain with a defined motivation where any fodder villains that they encounter would actually be working for the main antagonist. Perhaps have Reza as the main villain, just to ease us back into the franchise without forcing too much world build all at once. Save the double agent plot for a sequel, so that the character of H can be explored more and we can get more time to watch him be revered as a legend while being surprisingly incompetent. Then they can have M and maybe a few other rookies be the ones that notices that the MIB is compromised as she’s still a rookie. They figure out that the Hive has secretly invaded the MIB and planned to use it and its resources to enable their race to populate earth. Then the matter of H being neuralized can be revealed making H no longer act as brave and confident but end up redefining himself and having an epic clash in the third act between the real MIB rookies and vets vs the Hive faction. After which they can realize that the MIB needs to be built up again after they’ve suffered casualties. Then a third movie can be set up where the Earth is in danger because some alien force sees the MIB as weak now which would be a great plot for a final movie in the MIB international trilogy. As the characters will have to fight harder then ever and the character development stuff will be out of the way. I just figured that this would a cool way to set up a trilogy with good characters and fights where it feels like something is at stake and that the characters don’t just ass pull their way out of every situation

It would be better if they had WILL SMITH

That is clearly meant to be a painting of a J and K fighting Edgar the bug monster at the remnants of the worlds fair in the climax of the very first men in black movie. How did you not recognize that?!

Few things I disagree with you: I would have loved a little existentialism in the movie, that's why the first one is still the best And I did like the character riza, even if she wasn't necessary to the plot

They actually talked about why H was the way he was after 2016 because the fact he was neuroliazied too many times, they mentioned someone earlier doing the same thing or if not because of that he was neuroliazied in to acting deferent because the invaders feared him

BEST: Gratuitous shirtless scene of Chris Hemsworth.

They honestly could of made it better and added 30 min to it, the plot just felt a little bland.

That painting is the ending of the first MIB. The fight with J and K against the cockroach.

6:00 ok I'm going to defend agent M's backstory and motivation. Her's was simple. Literally it's the equivalent of spotting Big Foot, An Actual Alien, seeing something at Area 52, or actually seeing a ghost in a historical place. This was something chasing what has gone unseen for a long time and seeks answers for the many questions it's very existence has created. You don't need some tragic motivation to drive her to find them. Yes that could be more interesting, but for a child as barely phased by the abnormal (yes those types of children and people exist) you would expect her to want to know more. She was like Lilo meeting Stitch. Stitch looks FAR from anything normal on earth. Some depth to it would have been nice, but for what we were given it still was enough.

You missed the call back to the third movie. You can spot Griffin in the group of Aliens when their walking into the London MIB HQ.

I just watch it yesterday and I agree with all the points especially the pacing and Pawny. Pawny really carries the show. And yes, make a standalone movie about Pawny lol.

While not the best movie in the world, and I may be alone on this one, but I had a fun time with this movie. Nothing special, but it kept a smile on my face.

Liam Neeson's character was going to be the mole no matter what. He was kind of the Alpha from MIB: The Animated Series. Also you had Frank the Dog making a cameo. The other famous celebrities is a continuation trend from previous MIB films with MIB, MIB II and MIB III.

Pawnee in this movie is basically Frank in the first one.

I think the problem with the movie is that it harkens too much on the 90s action movie style. Movies are now different than they were 20 years ago and we as an audience expect so much more from them. I mean, following Avengers Endgame is hard and that's why I believe other movies have not done so well in the sci-fi genre including Dark Phoenix and Shaft. I actually really liked the movie just for the entertainment value. The acting was good, funny and very charming. I believe the story and plot were weaker and need to be a lot smarter. It does not take it self too seriously which is the fun of the film but for a successful franchise (which I know it is capable of being) MIB will need to step it up a lot with it's character arcs and plot development, etc. Also, an Agent J and K cameo wouldn't be a bad idea. Anyone else agree?

MiB: International is one of those movies that are fun to watch due to aesthetics but not for the story. Pretty much like the 5 Transformers movies. Chris Hemsworth and Tessa Thompson chemistry is really working tbh.

Riza was great, super hot character that provide me new fantasies... in fact, the best of the movie.

The actors where good. But the writing and plot holes rather just ignored plot points just made this movie impossible to praise.

I absolutely loved this film but to me it just doest feel like men in black, without the references to the original trilogy, it could be any sci-fi film. It feels more like a cheap copy than a continuation
