TOP 10 THINGS TO DO IN 2 DAYS IN OSAKA:
1. Osaka Aquarium (Day 1: 10am-12pm)
2. Osaka Castle (Day 1: 1-3pm)
3. Eat Takoyaki (octopus ball)
4. Visit a Museum: Osaka Museum of History or Museum of Housing and Living (Day 1: 4-5pm - Definitely go to Museum of Housing and Living earlier if you want to take advantage of their Kimono rental experience because it was sold out when we arrived)
5. Umeda Sky Building/Floating Garden Observatory (Day 1: 5-6pm)
6. Eat Okonomiyaki
7. Eat fluffy cheesecake (Rikuro Ojisan)
8. Ride a Ferris Wheel (at HEP FIVE or next to the aquarium)
9. Dotonbori & Glico Running Man Sign (Day 1: 9:30-10pm)

Oops, I didn't see your comments here until now! The Umeda Floating Garden Observatory is 1000Yen per adult. I would also suggest you go there before it gets totally dark, we went around 7pm and waited for maybe 15min, but when we left around 8pm, the the line to get in was crazy, probably about an hour wait.

The aquarium is also open at night. I went on a Wednesday night about 2 hours before closing and it was almost empty. The lighting in the aquarium reflects the time of day so everything will be dark with soft lighting. It's a very different feeling vs day time. While some of the fish aren't as vibrant looking due to this the serene feeling due to the small crowds is worth it.

Thank you for the extremely helpful video! I agree with everything! The Umeda Sky Building is a definite must visit - one of the nicest observatory that I visited. And it free with the osaka amazing pass! HEP five ferris wheel is a short walk away and is also included too. The ride wasnt as long as I hope but the experience is a must! Last but not least, Dotonbori can not be missed. It is the heart of japan food culutre!

Enjoyed my time in Osaka last June definitely one of my favourite places in Japan. Osaka castle was an amazing experience and Dōtonbori was full of wonderful street food and a nice river walkway. Hopefully next time I get to check out the Aquarium and other great places. Your tips have been great! 👍

Oh, I went to that museum in Osaka 2 or 3 years ago, but there weren't any special effects like night or weather effects. Maybe they have improved the museum since that time, it looks even better (and I already loved that museum!). Thanks for showing us 😀

Your uploads are SO helpful that I've told several of my co-workers to watch your videos before they go to Japan. One thing that will put you over the top for helpfulness is if you post the prices. I know they change with the season and other variables, but if you post the price for admission to these attractions it would be an added bonus and you'll probably get more helpful "thumbs up". My mum was born in japan Osaka for her childhood till 20 Then she came to sydney and met my dad my dads from Africa So I’m halth African and Japanese And I stay at Osaka when I go to japan so I can see my cousins And grandpa lol

Our city partner Osaka planted 5,000 cherry trees with us in Hamburg many years ago, which we honor with fireworks for 20 years or so each year. in feature osaka needs to be vistied by me.

Great video! Though I'm taking the Shikanzen for 2 reasons. One is that I just want to try it out, the other is that I'm flying about 20 times this year, and frankly, it's not the best for your system.

September is still a bit hot, temperature around mid 20s, with some rain. It rained really heavily a couple of times last Sept. October is really nice, typical fall weather (I've only spent 1 fall season here so it might be diff this year), about 15-20 degrees, no rain and not too humid. Oct and Nov are my fav months here probably.

Hi, may i know you said it is cheaper from Tokyo to take plane to Osaka rather than shinkansen? May i know the difference? And how many days in Osaka will do to visit only USJ, dotonbori, osaka castle? As to go to Nara and Kyoto and then to shirakawogo is near ? Thanks
