Easy depends on play style, and general ability. I found the bosses easy in SOTFS, but the normal mobs a problem; especially in No Man's Wharf. DS3 it's reversed, I die from being rash, missing the obvious, but the bosses generally stomp me flat, well some of them anyway. Easy is in the eye of the beholder.

Or just buy a pillow to punch really hard.

Meh I never got the satisfaction from defeating a boss by myself, I got the: "this took far too long than it should have been" feeling. I always summon, feels better knowing that I've helped a couple of other players out with gathering souls.

Getting invaded is part of the game mechanics. It's exciting, especially if you've progressed far from a bonfire and have a lot of souls on you. The butt clench is real.

Yeah I found it to be the easiest game by far, but I can still get stuck on parts of 1, plus your expierience may vary from others depending on your play style

nah, dark souls 3 is just easier. you can go back to 1 to compare things. also, prepatch dark souls 2 was brutal in some spots. it really fucking pissed me off when they nerfed like everything in the game to shit. i still remember when the lost sinner fight meant something.

Yes this. Vet player here, 99 percent of the advice given to you by the community is for PvP meta. Only a very small fraction of the player base actually bothers with the PvP meta (emphasis on PvP) So the information isn't useful for people who just want to play the game normally. Only advice to listen to is stuff like movesets that are and are not effective against PvE enemies, scaling, and infusion paths. (some infusions and stuff dont do much for PvE)

Never get advice from the Dark souls com.... ?! What kind of poop is this? Shouldn't a person know about stuff like: "don't heal in 1v1 duels" (otherwise the community starts hating you surprisingly fast), or: "don't use Havel armor"? (Makes the game a lot easier, which means that you can't learn anything according to proper dodging etc.

Well okay, that first one is about pvp, so it's not very helpful because I doubt that newcomers are going to summon a red spirit.. The second tip is pretty good tho.

+Sir Derpington - I don't know... I would say no co-op for a first playthrough. Co-op makes most bosses crazy easy. Co-op on a 2nd playthrough is tons of fun.

As locations with layouts and designs they all have their charms, it all comes down to preferences. As far as OST goes, IMHO it goes from Firelink 1 theme, then Hunter's Dream/Moonlit Melody/Firelink 3 theme, then Majula's theme being my favorite. Firelink 1 theme is a good entry to hub OST, but has its downsides in being the 1st hub OST. it feels downtrodden and hopeless like every good hub OST should, but it has too many low notes that as a whole are kinda bland in variety and almost completely relies on strings. Hunter's Dream theme on the other hand is a composition of strings that is gracefully arranged and lends a hazy atmosphere to its vibe, complemented by a an accompaniment of hushed voices that send trickles of chills. Moonlit Melody is the polar opposite in composition, but is surprisingly better for it while still being graceful and hazy like the Hunter's Dream theme. The predominating female voice is distant and detached yet resounding and entrancing too, while the violin solo is vaguely reminiscent of things neglected, forgotten or left behind. In short Bloodborne's hub themes suffer from the same fault as Firelink 1 theme, but it has better arrangement and composition which was complemented by good voices that echoed the Fromsoft 'ahh's and 'ohh's beautifully. Firelink 3 is like an upgrade from Firelink 1. It has more variety and a tad more emotion. Not only that they learned from Bloodborne and used accompanying voices to round out the already improved composition and arrangement. A big step from Bloodborne quality and huge leap up from the Firelink 1 theme. Lastly Majula is sort of an intrusive OST. It is the only hub with a proper name, and for that its identity is forever intertwined and embedded within its theme. It's a tune borderline personal. When you hear it, you can help but be reminded of Majula and want to comeback for a visit. It's a nowhere place that doesn't hate you nor does it welcome you either. There is something about its aimless tones that strike a perfect balance between "regret, wistfullness, wandering, lingering sentiment, deep longing" AND "not really caring at all." In summary, DS1, 3, & Bloodborne's hub themes are all great and fit their hubs really well. But Majula is my favorite theme because it is something nearly personal to listen to and handily evocative of the core themes of the 2nd game as a story.

Yes it does, the stability stat reduces stamina lost when an enemy hits a shield. The stability raises in each level up.

It also raises its resistance, which helps a lot during bosses with magic, fire or poison.

all of them actually except using the shield because the only shield you can ever come across sucks. Also, you can be more aggressive in bloodborne because of how the healing system is designed
