If not that, What Shall We Do Now could've also worked. That was another trippy animation segment by Gerald Scarfe done for that movie. Granted, Goodbye Blue Sky and -partially- Waiting For The Worms were also animated, but they were nowhere near as absurd as What Shall We Do Now and The Trial.

Surprised you didn't mention that scene from The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack where Flapjack and K'nuckles explore the west and end up drinking seawater which makes them hallucinate. That should've at least got an honorable mention.

Oh...dear Lord. Yes. I haven't seen Flapjack in...roughly 7 years...? Yet I still remember that scene. That show was full of...so much strange imagery. It can be both wonderfully weird and...a little too weird. xD

Another possible honorable mention in my opinion would be that one segment of “you’re welcome”. I consider it an lsd moment, but it just wouldn’t make the cut.

Not just that, but actually listen to the Wall and other Pink Floyd albums too. They are called one of the best musical groups of all time for a reason. My suggestion is the Dark Side of the Moon (of course), Wish You Were Here, and Meddle (at least the song Echoes from that album).

@Oriental Studios I'm not sure how much evidence there is to back that up. Roger Waters inclusion of the Star of David in his concert might have come across as unneccessary or innapropriate, but that was addressed and apologised. In retrospect, Roger Waters is very outspoken about his hatred towards Trump who has more accounts of anti-Semitism against him. Either way, whatever Gilmore or Waters believe does not take away the power and message of their music.

Glad you included Pink Floyd's the Wall movie. I saw it when I was 8 and it has stuck with me ever since. It's amazing artwork and the music brings it to life. I recommend everyone watch it, because it really delves into the psyche of depression and insanity. You should watch the full movie and do a study on it. It's quite interesting and I'd love to hear your opinion.

I watched Winnie the Pooh and Dumbo a lot as a kid, and usually skipped Hufflelumps and Woozles because it scared me, but really loved Pink Elephants. Which is weird, since they are so similar. I love them both now.

Pink Elephants on Parade always frightened and unsettled me as a kid. I couldn't watch Dumbo because of it, that scene ruined the movie for me lol

NoiseDay it’s a long story. The scene you saw was one of the many scene the original artist made. But due to low funding and other circumstances he wasn’t able to finish most of it. So a company bought it, finished it with a terrible dub and animation and renamed it. So now you have clips with beautiful animation from the creator’s last movie with a clique Disney story and bad animation . I suggest watching nostalgia critics review, he explains and reviews the movie more in

You could just watch the "Recobbled" Cut that was made by a generous person who enjoyed the movie and wanted to have it be relayed correctly with scenes that weren't finished and cut together correctly. Link: vimeo.com/88602144

Oh my God, YES. THOSE. I saw the last 3D showing of Sponge Out of Water (at my local Cinemark, at least) while the film was in theatres, and it was an experience! xD Also, a really trippy episode of SpongeBob aired fairly recently...it's called 'There's a Sponge in My Soup'. The entire plot is centered around hippies refusing to leave a pot of soup (no, I'm not kidding...xDD). Needless to say, it's a pretty screwy 11 minutes! LOL

Where are you getting your information that Bojack isn't popular? Just because not everyone under the sun hasn't seen it doesn't mean it's not popular. Stranger Things is immensely popular yet so many people don't have Netflix and don't watch it - about 90% of my family hasn't seen it, myself and another relative knew what ST was at Thanksgiving this year, we had to tell everyone what it was.

I scrolled down when it said, "Anyone with epilepsy does not survive the viewing experience" because I've got autism.. oof and part of it could cause seizures (but I don't have those, I've just got extreme sensitivity to light and get a little lightheaded and ill feeling when I see constant flickering lights)

Just recently watched Pink Floyd’s _The Wall_ thanks to my Film Studies professor. And yes. It deserves that #1 spot-it was pretty damn trippy. One that I remembered but wasn’t included in the list was the scenes with the Teen Titans versus Mad Mod or maybe even another May-Eye. But it has been awhile since I’ve last seen it, so maybe it wasn’t quite trippy enough. Because yeah, these entries are all pretty wild.

"I wanted to skip it, but never did. It drew me in." That's actually the reason why I don't like "The Butterfly Effect", from "The Loud House", yet try to watch it any way I can. The concept, as well as the variety of ideas, as you said, just stuck with me. Also, in my opinion, the phrase, "stuck with me", being used in a Winnie the Pooh...anything makes it a bland pun at best.

The Wall is pretty heavy. The album is meant to be listened to all in one sitting, one track after another. It really is an experience, and one of my favorite albums of all time. It's about what it means to human, the deep and lasting effects of postwar scars, and the loneliness we all feel, torn between walling ourselves off from everyone else to avoid being hurt, or being scared and vulnerable to everyone, but that includes those who love and care about us. What amazes me a lot is that the album is infinite, it begins where it ends, looping in a cycle forever. It could be said that Pink breaks the circle after he tears down the wall, but another person is building their own wall and has to go through the same changes and decisions and trials.

That scene is such a delightful little slice of madness. xD Honestly, many...MANY scenes in the Weirdmageddon trilogy of episodes - including...well, basically the ENTIRETY of Part II - could be considered 'trippy'. Mailboxes coming alive, Blind Ivan being turned into the STICK SHIFT OF A FLYING CAR, literally ALL of Bill's creepy-as-hell minions...MABELAND...xD

agreeing about 9th place, that scene was iconic they did have that scene in their Winnie the Pooh ride in Disney world (Which I recommend since it was both cute and fun) And Of course about 8th place, Just...Of Course that bloody scene! He really was wasted for a poor baby elephant

Spectacular video! I think you have some excellent choices on your list! However, I wish you'd gone into more detail about why you choose them and why one is more strange or unusual than another. You did an great job describing why the Pink Floyd video was your number one choice, but not so much the others. Other than that, I enjoyed this video throughly :)

It's widely regarded as one of the weirdest, most childhood-scarring moments in Disney movie history. A *lot* of people have talked about it so it's possible you've at least heard of it, if not seen it in its entirety, despite never having seen Dumbo. Dumbo's a great movie, BTW, you can fast forward through the pink elephant part. It doesn't contribute to the story at all and it's baffling why it was even a part of the movie. At least the "Heffalumps and Woozles" scene from Winnie the Pooh makes sense.

Holy crap, finally someone else that has seen The Thief and the Cobbler!! I was obsessed with this movie as a kid. I used to rent the vhs from my local video store over and over until they finally just let me have it. One of my favorite animated movies ever.

This whole video I was waiting for a Pink Floyd The Wall entry and I'm so happy you put The Trial it's by far my favorite animation sequence I watched the full movie a few months ago for the first time and I was completely floored at how beautiful the animation was 10/10 would recommend definitely a favorite of mine.
