I enjoy this style and presentation far more than I thought I would. Makes other fragrance videos feel like advertisements where this feels like a conversation and a story. Well done. I don't imagine every video will be this way but I do hope you keep the format in your arsenal to bring out regularly.
I learn so much with these videos. I appreciate not having a fragrance smashed in my face with a quick 30 second description, but rather hearing more about some of the house, history, or whatever info is interesting. Thanks Georgie.
Daaaaaaaamn, George, you really did another one of these so quickly, gonna savour it for later, but you certainly get a comment and a like from me, cause previous one was a banger and certified hood classic. I don't think any fragrance channel on RU-vid can do this type of video even if they wanted to, you're ability to describe fragrances as pieces of art and not weapons of women annihilation is unmatched
Love the long format videos, and having the graphics show while you’re talking is super helpful. Thanks for doing these. I learn a ton. I typically watch at 1.25 speed to tighten it up a bit, and you can’t really tell until George moves his arms.
OMG...and I remember people giving Marc a load his videos were 20-minutes long. LOL! But appreciate all the color commentary. To me, sharing experiences (aka stories) about fragrance is what made the fragrance community so special and such a tight-knit group. Sadly, the onset of bait 'n click, share...like...follow, and sponsored commercialism have largely killed the fragrance community. But there are still pockets of hobbyists and fellowship out there. Enjoyed.
I love hearing in depth thoughts and a manifeste opinion about fragrances rather than the usual rundown. Only fragrance jesus can do those in a pleasant way.
Thank you, George. Love my morning coffee while relaxing to your commentary. I just picked up JPG Le Male le Parfum. So far, I love it. It's not super strong for me, but such a soothing and calming scent. I prefer it to Elixer. Today, it's raining in Utah, USA. So, for me, it's either Ombre Leather or Valentino Uomo Intense. Love them both. Classy. Masculine. I keep smelling myself like a weirdo. Thanks again, George! Stay classy.
I did not like most of Zaharoff stuff I tried, Leather Tabac I hated. Loved Aurum (got a bottle), with Royale X a distant second, and 2nd Soul and Evening Mystique at 3rd place.
Wonderful vid as always mate. I’m from the US and when you do your American accent😂 it just gets me every time. Thanx for the more in depth comment. I love listening to it while I compose fragrances.
Another great and thorough review and fragrances. I've visited Talinn years ago and remember the huge Gothic church, but don't recall the pubs nearby. Maybe next time. ✌🏽
Hey Chris. I have the same issue. Christmas party coming up and I’m stuck. TF Noir Extreme, Killian Angels Share, Herrod, Naxos or JPG Le Male Elixir 🤣🤣🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
I have a bottle of le male le parfum that’s almost 2 years, I used to wear it a lot. Left it for about a year half full and I swear it smells completely different now. It never used to be that spicy but now it is, must have macerated and changed. I feel it’s lost it’s creaminess and the spice has come through in its place
I’ve been meaning to pick up “a city on fire” for years now. I picked up A Midsummer Dream, Burlington 1819, Eau Sauvage, and Aventus Absolu due to a massive sale though. It’ll have to wait, sadly.
@Apprentice I like your narrator style. It is different and suits you. This style needs some visuals to go with the story. Usually you do this with nature or city shots or create a suitable background through a composition of subtle music, clothing, furniture and light. You even used an AI for that (too bad you forfeited the idea). Now - there isn't any of that. You look like you came from grocery shopping, sat on your couch and decided to do a video. At least some music would be nice to go as an audio only. If you don't care, why should I?
I went to that pub 😂 really great food and prices. Unfortunately she wasn't mean to us 😢 Also, to my nose...A City on Fire smells 100% of birch tar. I really wanted to buy this one but I already have 100ml of birch tar oil for 10 euros.
Love this format! Still don't like Le Male le Parfum tbh, that being said i'm very much into sweet fragrances like feve or swy. Le Parfum is just super unbalanced imo. to this day the only fragrance that got me a headache
I was drinking last night and watched this. Fell asleep because of how bored I was and I usually love your videos. For the love of god man, more enthusiasm. I’m pretty sure I yelled at my tv of how boring you were. I’m not a hater, and I watch your stuff all the time, but this video literally put me to sleep.
