If you watch those matches. Playing against Nishikori is very fast, intense and pressured coz he's hitting so well. The pressure got to them that they feel they need to hit faster to win but ends up in error.

@@nsebast I know this is 2 years late but I think another stressful thing about Nishikori is, because of his speed, he is so great at the "I give up" fake out. For smashes he will stand still until the last minute and then pick a direction and just sprint. Makes him extra tricky on smashes.

I was just about to post the same thing - he did win but I think that they must have “planned” for the match to go three sets or something along those lines (eg over a certain number of games etc...). There are so many markets out there, it’s not just a matter of who wins the match.

Edit - wow I just looked it up and he was banned for life for match-fixing. I just watched this point and it was that obvious. Wouldn’t you think that if he were going to do this, he’d try to be just a bit more subtle??

Yeah of course, he fixed this match serving a 191km/h serve on match point...🙄. It is obviously not because of this match than he has been banned. By the way, he won this match.

Number 9 is by far the funniest.. because it’s Medvedev, who’s notorious for his terrible movement on Clay and having awful touch, decides in his infinite wisdom to try and pull off a fake, no look, passing shot.. and of course ends up missing by about 3 metres. 😂😂

This list doesn’t prove Djokovic made number one miss by any means. It showed the charm of tennis and everyone is a human being. We should think of this video when we make a bad shot and shake it off and then focus on the next shot.

Why do you atp guys not like novak? Can you not just accept that he is the best and better than rafa and roger? And his smash is harder to hit because of the sun nishikori's smash was at night and yes there were lights in nishikori miss but the sun is the same colour as the ball and the lights are not. Plus that federer's misses were easier to not miss
