Finally😍😍 Someone has said it. Just because its a kids movie, doesnt mean it can be a stupid movie. Coz kids are only as stupid as the people raising them.
Me and 5-6 other friends took the entire front row at that movie and did nothing but overreact at everything and scream. People behind us were kinda mad, but after they realized the train wreck it was they played along too. That's the only thing slenderman was good for.

"50 Shades" is already fan fiction of "Twilight". How do they rip it off now? Gender flip? Race lift? Different time period? Put vampires back into the narrative? Set it in the post apocalypse? Set it at a Wizard School?
I must be a glutton for punishment. I'm sure this movie is going to be terrible but I really want to see it anyway because of how much I love Step Brothers
Evdog04 thankfully Dennis (Hoodlumsrevenage) saw Slender for me I didn’t have time or the money to see it. I knew it was gunna be shit but my god worse than we both thought.
He probably went to one of the 5 screenings they had of this movie. It was under the name "God Particle" I went to two of them and didn't get in because like most screenings if they have too many males they'll turn you away even If you were lol But people there didn't like it and I think they edited the cloverfield monster scene in Specifically for the Netflix special
I hate it when a movie clearly has great ideas but executed poorly. A lot of bad movies have orginal ideas but don't do much with it or can't bring it to life right
@@KhanMann66 i walked out right a coupla minutes after the masked chick stabbed the dude. I just couldn't get invested in anything onscreen. Not saying it was horrible, i was just the wrong demographic. I was expecting something more like other PJ projects
A Choking Fish venom is an example of that imo. Tons of people say it’s a great/amazing movie I disagree if they changed a few things it could’ve been a great movie but it wasn’t
Only one of those I saw was Solo. Thought it was blah but not bad enough to be put on a worst list. Honestly, I thought #10 could have been Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom--that movie was terrible.
I wanna see a "dodged that bullet" list of awful movies you are glad you avoided. Maybe also some gems you caught on Netflix or Redbox that didn't get a theatrica release (like "Bird Box").
Dude I absolutely loved the "tales from the comments section" videos. Pls don't forget those(hoping this will end up in your"tales from the comments section" video of this video lol)
Good thing you don't speak for everybody. So who the fuck is " we've " and why are they lame asses needing someone else to form their opinion for them?
The nun it's like one of the most boring most unimaginative most uninspired horror film of all time I nearly fell to sleep in the theaters watching that shit film.
@@aymarshall1192 well they did get one thing right...the Nun was the darkest chapter...in the meaning of this film was filmed in pitch black it was hard to see anything...also this Movie is dumb ...it tried to be scary but it's just laughably Goofy
The Nun is a stupid movie here is my rating of the conjuring universe The Nun: 4/10 Annabelle creation: 9/10 Anabelle: 3.2/10 The conjuring: 10/10 The conjuring 2: 6/10
Great list lol. U always save me from the shit movies. However I think u should change the announcer for the numbers, sounds a bit outdated. Still awesome video
Probably be out after he’s given us his final critique on the silent black & white films of Siberian Russia during the Stalin purges which will probably end up being his whole top 10 best of list.
That sellout? His opinion is irrelevant ever since he endorsed The Last Jedi. That movie was so full of crap that he usually points out as flaws. But apparently it was okay to do those things in TLJ. He’s either a hypocrite or his review was glowing so he could keep getting free shit from Disney.
@@bangoskank493 you're fucking pathetic if you think someone's opinion is completely irrelevant just because they liked something you didn't. You literally have no proof that hes a fucking sellout and he doesn't always endorse disney considering he gave ant man and the wasp a C+. People like you honestly make me sick. Still complaining over a movie that came out a year ago. Its fucking embarrassing honestly.
Solo is on this, but not The Predator? Like I enjoyed both (the latter less) and I can say for sure the Predator was way more of a mess. Solo’s arc, as I saw it, was more of a look at how he became so hardened or tried to be in ANH, when he still had the heart of gold all along. The film just showed why he started becoming more closed off and burying his good nature by the time we saw him in the OT. I liked that aspect. And all of the actors did pretty well (couple weird moments, sure) and the plot wasn’t that bad, it was at least enjoyable. I can totally respect your opinion on this, I’m just elaborating on why I thought it was better than you made it out to be. Now, the Predator had potential, but it was just sloppy and kinda screwed over a lot of its interesting parts. I honestly would put it as one of the worst of this year. I enjoyed some of it but idk if I’d ever want to go back and watch it again, nor would I defend it as a good movie.
I feel like I'm one of the few people that actually loves Solo. The plot isn't messy at all and in terms of 'easter eggs' it's probably the lightest one out of all the new movies. There's barely any references that actually feel forced or get in the way of the plot like Rogue One for example, so that's a bit of an odd complaint. Solo felt like the first proper Star Wars standalone movie. It felt like I was reading a great Star Wars novel/comic book. A fun, light space adventure with great characters with wonderful chemistry, nice set pieces and an atmosphere that felt the most like the OG trilogy since TFA and perhaps even more so. It's also matched with a top tier score, a fantastic villain and ended with classic betrayal stuff, no ridiculous set piece, just genuine character tension and I dug the shit out of it. I get why people don't like it but it really fucking worked for me, it took a couple viewings, but I connected with it eventually. Also I actually kinda like Strangers Prey At Night. It's the most Carpenter-esque slasher movie I've ever seen outside John Carpenter himself. It's not great, but it's got a nice feel to it and that pool scene is visually wonderful.
The Nun was so laughable Goofy....it tried to be scary but it felt so funny...I still find it odd how they advised this movie..."the darkest chapter"...why the darkest why not scariest...does this movie know I w not scary?
@@nhoodjazz yeah no shit Sherlock...that movie was a disappointment....for a movie that's supposed to be about valak the demon Nun...he was only in the movie for 5 min also what was with the other creatures in this movie... there was a Demon ghost kid Faceless ghost nuns Ghost nuns with bloody bags over they're faces Zombie nuns I have no idea what this movie was trying to be like
sofian ss1 Solo is the only one I’ve seen thank God. And like others pointed out, to me it wasn’t so bad I would put it on the “worst” of the year. To me, it was just disappointing and unnecessary...
Yes!!! I didn't watch the whole film. But as an employee at a theatre I happened to walk in on the end and I thought it was the stupidest, lamest, and most horrible thing I had watched. For some reason it seems like ever since Kevin Peter Hall passed away they haven't been able to make a good Predator film.
Jeremy! Please react to Vader: Episode 1 Shards of the past! I’m sure you know about it, please react to it to help give it traction, we need to get this fan film out there!
Bankable Milk omg I didn’t even think about but this year was a really good yeah for superhero movies and horror movies. Literally two of my favorite types ❤️❤️❤️
Well not even that imo. Black panther- kinda crap tbh. Overrated af. Infinity war- yeah ok it's very entertaining but also predictable and we all know the characters aren't dead at all Ragnarok- fair enough yeah GotG2- that was amazing too not quite as good as the first Dk if I'm forgetting any/ including ones that weren't this year 😂
@@Joe-hi1zw Ragnarok and GOTG2 are 2017 movies.... 2018 movies that you didnt mention: Deadpool 2 Spiderman: Into The Spider Verse The Incredibles 2 Aquaman Ant-Man and The Wasp
Before watching this I’m gonna call it and say number 1 is Fifty Shades Freed. Like if I’m right EDIT: Dammit I got bamboozled, great list though Jeremy
Nice video Jeremy though I will defend Solo, it could have a bit a little more unique and fresh, but I had fun with it, far more than some of the other films on your list. I don't have a top 10 because I actively avoided most of the bad films of 2018. Though I will say that my worst/most disappointing films of the year were Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, The Predator, Tomb Raider and Den of Thieves.
10. Solo: A Star Wars Story 9. Pacific Rim: Uprising 8. Winchester 7. A Wrinkle in Time 6. The Cloverfield Paradox 5. The Nun 4. Action Point 3. Fifty Shades Freed 2. The Strangers Prey At Night 1. The Nutcracker and the Four Realms
Yep, it was. Saved me time. I watched to #7 and then started scrolling through the comments looking for this particular comment. Found it before #6 came on.
Cloverfield Paradox had a brilliant plot. It gave us a totally new way of where the creatures from the last 2 movies came from. Not just oh it came from the depths of the ocean. It also dwells into different dimensions predicting the possibility of future spin off movies where pretty much anything can happen.
I still don’t understand how they could fuck up something as simple as fucking Predator, but they did it. It was worse than the AvP movies. I’d rather watch Alien: Resurrection and AvP: Requiem after that, than watch The Predator again.
I have become very anti-disney's Star Wars over the past year, but it is still honestly extremely worrying to see Jeremy start to be impacted by Disney's failures. I didn't see Solo and unless the trailer for 9 is so good and practically deletes episode 8 then I won't be seeing that either.
Episode 9 will probably be as good as TFA bc JJ is taking over as directing again. He will continue the plot lines that he set up in TFA. Knowing him, he will probably make it so that you can just watch 7 then 9 without needing to see 8 as episode 8 added absolutely nothing
Star Wars Chronicler Disney have made two great *Star Wars* films which were *”Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens”* and *”Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”*, they made one mediocre *Star Wars* film which was *“Solo: A Star Wars Story”* and one f^^king awful *Star Wars* film which was *”Star Wars: Episode VIII - The Last Jedi”*. P.S. Guys this is my opinion as a former professional film critic and huge *Star Wars* fan. If you disagree w/ me then politely let me know why and we can discuss should you want to.
Matthew St Vincent I didn’t hate the last Jedi, I don’t know why I just didn’t hate it. Do I want to watch it again? No, but I didn’t hate or dislike it
To people saying Fantastic Beasts,Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom or Venom should have been here, you clearly haven't watched enough movies this year to be able to make a list.
I agree except for Venom. Venom was an incompetent mess, and I’ve seen a lot of shitty movies this year. If I made a top 10 of what I’ve seen so far, it’d likely be around 6-10.
People complaining that there are so many mediocre movies forget that Blade Runner 2049 failed at the box office. How are we supposed to get great movies if movies like Blade Runner 2049 aren’t making any money?
5:24 - I choose to believe the "the foreshadowing was blatantly obvious and the jumpscares were abundant" is still describing your experience with "Where's Waldo".
I just can't agree with you on Solo. But an opinion is an opinion. Happy new year Jeremy EDIT: Jesus people chill I stated my opinion. This is the friendly part of RU-vid Jeremy keeps it chill. If you don't like solo that's fine just don't be an ass. Same goes to those who do like it. Shameless rant due to my 1k likes. Tfa and tlj aren't godawful travesties of movies. Both have problems and both have incredible moments. I will admit tlj left a bad taste in my mouth due to some of the story. But overall it was a well made movie. Stunning visuals some nice character growth from the protagonist and antagonist and it did subvert expectations ( albeit in a mediocre way) so please. WE ARE ALL STAR WARS FANS. DON NOT HATE BECAUSE OF OPINION. Happy new years warsians.
