Wow Cal Ripken 2131 consecutive games played memorabilia. That was a famous game, I remember watching it like it was yesterday! Best wishes I love all rare rookie cards, great to see young athletes before the become all-stars!
I had a bunch of all of these cards because I started collecting in 1980 and someone ripped me off for half of my cards in all sports! Haven't gotten over it yet but it is what it is!
Really enjoyed this video. Definitely brought back some memories of going out with my mom when I was a kid and buying packs or boxes of cards trying to put together sets. Unfortunately I lost them all in a house fire back in 2005. Just got back into collecting in 2018.
That 2nd Randy Johnson is the partially obscured Marlboro sign error variation, worth a lot more than the others. I know this video is 2 years old just trying to help you out in case you still have these cards 😎
I maybe 3 years late responding, but my favorite card to have from the 80's is the 1984 o pee chee Don Mattingly rookie card. You just inspired me to get back into the hobby and start getting my gems graded. Cheers.
Maybe I missed it but I'm surprised the 1989 randy johnson topps tiffany didnt make the list. Recent sales are like $2,000 bucks and the regular topps 1989 Johnson goes for around $150 to $200 psa 10
Hey that 3rd Sheffield rookie you showed is the upside down SS error not sure if you spotted that. It's definitely worth a lot more than the others :-)
I enjoyed your video! I know it’s long overdue, but I’ve always been a huge Mattingly fan. Btw, I am a die hard O’s fan. However, my favorite card is the Donruss Mattingly rookie card 1984. Mom gave it to me for Christmas 1987. I still collect, but mainly Oriole’s team sets since 1954. Thank you!
I really enjoyed your video. I learned a lot and was impressed with all of the cards that you own that were on the list. This upcoming Saturday I’m buying 6,000 wax baseball cards from the 80,s. Praying I can find a few of these cards in the lot.
Great collection! Maybe you can not feature so many duplicates? Why even bother showing multiple copies of the same card? Streamline the presentation a bit.
I remember around 88-89 when Greg Jeffries and Gary Sheffield were so hyped and all the shows dealers selling their cards at crazy prices. Didn’t go for the hype thank goodness!
Found a photo album slap full of baseball cards and didn't know my Mother collected baseball cards....the players you are mentioning are in this album 😯😯😯
new subscriber (226) her and I enjoyed the video. those fleer Johnson errors if you tilt them you can see the word MARLBORO over his shoulder on the screen that's blacked out. I was able to see it on the 3rd card you put down.
Oh man, tough decision, my personal favorite is the 82 traded Ozzie Smith but I love the 82 traded Ripken, Jr. and 82 Ripken, Jr. as well. Thanks for the memories!!
This was great. My son & I are collecting the 88 donruss right now, we have most on your list that were 88 donruss. We love the Roberto Alomar probably the best. Is the Stan musial puzzle from the 88 donruss worth anything? We have the whole puzzle. Just curious. Thanks!
I would like to know why you can’t sell your base ball 1980 through 1995 took mine to sell today had about 20 thousands with me they offered me 200dollars for them. They go back in closet for 25 years or so
There is absolutely NO reason to show multiple copies of the same exact card!!! When you pile them and put them off frame, we can't even see the details of the card you are trying to show us. You should have put images of the cards you were missing, so we could have gotten an idea of what they look like. Also don't guess at facts. Don't mention it if you aren't sure. But I did like the topic and variety of cards you showed.
I just went to sell some cards at a shop. It was a votto rookie chrome, Art monk rookie and kobe Bryant 2006 topps chrome and he offered me 10$ for everything lmao......yeah ok buddy no ty. All pristine square edges and centered. Oh and a 82 Walter payton
?He’s got a lot of really good cards but I’m confused because he’s all over the place then he goes really fast and some of them he gets the dates mixed up ! Sorry but I can’t watch it anymore lol
I have literally just about every card you said you didn't have. If your trying to get them to complete your sets or any other cards just let me know buddy.
@@ctcards2636 I have 2 Bo Jackson's 1986 tops traded. They are sitting right next to 2 Barry Bonds 86 traded. Haven't had them graded but pretty sure they're 9 or 10s.
@@waltercopus1485 Nice ! :-) I have two of each as well. One of the Bo Jackson cards is a 9 or 10 and one of the Bonds is a 9 at least. Hey we have the same first name I just realized lol ! -Walt
@@ctcards2636 Your talking to a old timer here. Started collecting in 1964. Had so damn many cards from 60s. Went in service and had most stolen by brother n law. Still have alot of 70s.cards. Got 2 rookie Thruman Munsons 70 and 71s.
its not easy to talk about 100 cards most mistakes i knew right away. nerves i guess, but i do need to edit. I'm new to this, i do know the cards just buckled with video rolling. thanks for comment. a lot to work on i know!
Terrible video and completely inaccurate price wise. You should have listed this as your personal collection top favorite cards of the 80's. Where is the Ken Griffey Jr Bowman Chrome rookie card valued at $20,000 in a PSA 10. Please don't make any more videos...
