I really should try Ascension Tactics at some point. It looks right up my alley. Witchstone seems interesting to me as well! Though, I've heard some comepare it to Mille Fiore; I'm not sure if I should try one over the other. Great video as always. Thank you, both!
Ascension Tactics has quite a bit of player interaction but you know that going in. Coupling that with the deck building makes it a very fun experience. Witchstone and Mille Fiori are very similar and they are the same designer. Thematically Witchstone is more fun but we love them both. If you have more than 2 players, Mille Fiori would really shine. Also love the games from Ostby and Svensson. Revive is my favorite, but also Magnificent and Santa Maria (Automania you said you got rid off). Also Trails of Tucana is probably my favorite goto entrylevel Flip&Write. Also Rococo is such a juwel and I also prefer the old edition. Sometimes less is more.
Vikings is hard to find but I got a cheap copy that had all the viking meeples missing. I just bought some replacements and got it to the table. it's pretty fun! and I haven't even tried the advanced tiles.
The deluxe edition is gorgeous but the box is big and we prefer the art in the original. We have a small expansion in the box. Thanks for watching and commenting
