I love Hansa Teutonica so much. It’s extremely hard to sell this to people. “So you’re making routes with cubes.” It’s rough 😂. But everyone I’ve played it with loved it. Simple and pure but agonizing decisions. It’s a sweet spot.

We call telestrations "The Canadian Game" because it ALWAYS devolves into passing the book while profusely saying "I am so sorry, I had no clue / can't draw that". Also, there is always a few people who state 'I can't play that because I can't draw'. Yes, that is why we need you. The game is no fun if everyone is an amazing artist. You want a good mix of good artists and people who can barely draw stick figures. And sometimes the stick figure people do the best at conveying the meaning.

The game technically plays as low as 4 I think, but it is honestly tenuous at 5. 6+ is where it starts really cruising and as was said, the more the better. The only part that gets longer is the show and tell section, but that is the part that is just non stop laughter, so that part getting longer is just wonderful.

Great picks! My top pick for this grouping is 'Green Team Wins' The ones I haven't played but would like to try are 'Dune Imperium/Uprising' and 'Burncycle' For Mansions of Madness, it was immersive and down to the wire. I just bought 'Sky Team' as a gift. Mancala mechanism is so cool!

Ghost stories on default difficulty is definitely winnable. We have won maybe 1/3 of the time. Usually with 2-3 who have played, the rest new. I do think last bastion is the better GAME, but I am so sad they changed the theme to boring generic fantasy.

I wish burn cycle was made by a different publisher. I really don't like chip theory productions. I don't need my boardgame to be bath proof. I want it to be affordable. There is NO REASON this game should be that insanely expensive. I will never own any of their games unless they make more affordable versions. Give me cardboard cards and cardboard chits and normal components please.
