Superman IV actually deserves its top 3 spot, and I’ve always used one thing to decide if it’s worse than III or not : III has solid effects and the Clark vs Evil Superman scene.

Speaking of horrible sequels, let me tell a quick story. One night in university, I was bored, so I thought I'd go see two movies in the theaters. They were both sequels from a movie or franchise I'd enjoyed and their trailers looked promising, so I thought what the hell. So, back-to-back, I saw the 7 PM and 9 PM showings of each movie. That night, I watched ALIEN RESURRECTION, immediately followed by MORTAL KOMBAT ANNIHILATION.

The Transformers movies are stupid but fun until Age of Extinction

While I don't disagree that Phantom Menace can be absolutely awful. I think the majority can agree Rise of Skywalker is so, so much worse. At least Phantom Menace makes sense in the overall prequel trilogy, where Rise of Skywalker and the majority of its trilogy does not.

The worst superhero sequel has to be Elektra, seriously, how does this movie escaped being worst superhero film time and time again beats me, but somebody looked at 2002's Daredevil and said: "You know that bland and token character from the first movie, let's make another film completely around her, where magic's real now." I think in the concept of sequels Star Wars: The Clone Wars is also really disappointing, the TV show was... good, but the pilot movie that belongs into a direct-to-video tie-in somehow got into the cinema is really bad, you'd think that for Star Wars they would get something better than a TV-animated budget for a whole movie, but nope.

Hey, it's ok to like the prequels. But there's one thing I cannot stand. Calling people disliking them blinded by nostalgia and denying the flaws of the originals beacause they grew up watching them. The vast majority of people who enjoy the prequels are around 16 - 26 years old and thus you could safely say that they 'grew up' with the prequel trilogy. They watched the Clone Wars shows, played Battlefront II and maybe even picked up some comicbooks. Now, having aged a bit, they start feeling nostalgia towards the times they were younger and thus associate most of the things from that time period with positive feelings. And effectively they are guilty of the very thing they accuse older fans of doing, and that's letting nostalgia make the judgement for them. But as I said, it's alright to like them. Now I can't comprehend how anyone could argue for especially the first two being genuinely good movies, but I'm not here to judge the movies, just share my opinion on why I think people like them so much

Would you ever do an updated version of this so we can add Rise of Skywalker? At least Phantom Menace has a plot, Rise of Skywalker's plot basically becomes: "Let's beat the bad guys!" With a sprinkle of nostalgia thrown in.

OK OK! Phantom Menace was bad. But the Obi-Wan/Qui-Gon/ Darth Maul light saber duel scene was awesome. And the music they play is some of the best in the series.

The blues brothers is great - premise is two career criminals have to raise money to save an orphanage. The twist is they can’t use crime. Challenge and complication, all explained in one scene. In blues brothers 2 the plot was.... uhhhh. Uhhhh...?

Bayformers I originally didn't mind, but after hearing Michael Bay's Quote: "It doesn't matter how bad it is, you're still gonna go see it." I HATED Bayformers. But not for the explosions, for the fact that they're unfaithful to the source material. Forced Sex jokes, Too much focus on the Human characters, and the Autobots and Decepticons look nothing like the cartoon!(aside from Optimus Prime)

The Godfather 3 has its moments The confession scene is very good, great acting and the Pacino scream when his daughter dies is very touching and moving!!! Andy Garcia is also pretty good... And the opera scenes are cool, specially the one where Michael remembers Apollonia

Clerks 2 is really good. I’m glad Kevin Smith didn’t try to just remake the 1st movie. There are brilliant, hilarious scenes in Clerks 2. The King Diamond scene. Randal “taking back” the racial slur, he was unaware, was racial slur. I love the dance scene, it’s really sweet, then subverts your expectations and becomes “Bollywood” ridiculous! The Donkey Show scene is, well amazing’ Rosario Dawson is great in it, she plays “down to earth” so well, you can almost...almost believe she’d sleep with Dante. Elias totally steals the movie! It’s essentially a “mid-life crisis” story for 30 year olds, chronicling chasing your fading youth, seeing everyone else you know seeming to have life figured out much better than you do, and wondering what is wrong with you, & realizing the times you thought sucked, were really when you were most happy.

I’ll admit that Son of the Mask is a guilty pleasure for me. I was never turned off by the effects, and actually thought that quite a few of them were pretty creative. As for Troll 2, not only is it horrendous in quality, but the fact that there’s basically no tie to the first movie makes it a good choice. That being said, I can attest to its so-bad-it’s-good quality. My college choir watched it one time on the way to a concert, and ever since, whenever we went on a bus ride to a concert and were asked what movie we should see, everyone would chant “Troll 2! Troll 2!”

Luckily I never saw Superman 3 or 4. I saw the first two, and couldn’t find 3 or 4 at Blockbuster (yes, it was when those were still common). The movie gods were looking out for me

Where's Highlander 2? It's one of the THE WORST sequel of all time. Company intervention and public riots near the shooting ground, completely destroyed this movie. Christopher Lambert almost leave the project midway, because he's not a moron, but stayed anyway due to contract. Even the own director walked out after 15 minutes of the movie premiere.

Jaws deserves better sequels, but since we know that will never happen, we will settle for none.

Putting Troll 2 on the number 1 spot is incredible cheap. It has the same entertainment value as The Room, is not a Hollywood Blockbuster, is wasn't in theaters(was it?) and it didn't degrade the first one... which nobody new about... Come on!

For me, The Last Jedi was a FAR bigger disappointment then Phantom Menace. At least Phantom Menace has great music, Ewan Mcgregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi is one of the best casting choices in cinema history. Same with Liam Neeson as Qui-Gon Jinn. Really all of the casting choices are good, in my opinion. And that kick ass lightsaber duel. The original films’ duels are pig shit compared to that fight. And last Jedi had none of that. I hate every character in this film except for Yoda and Poe. The “duel” is the stupidest plot device I’ve ever seen. Rose is an embarrassment to the realm of cinema.

Short Circuit 2 should have at least made the honorable mentions list. The bad acting, joke that fall flat, and contradciting the first film, this one should definitely been on the list.
