You know you can trust Shweta when she talks about boroline. That shit is a cure for everything. Dry cracked heels, dry lips, elbows, everything. The scent reminds me of my entire childhood
I spent my 1000 bucks and bought a lanige lip sleeping mask. After coming back from surgery my skin and lips were feeling sooooo dry, my lips were bleeding the lip sleeping mask was All fancy. Did no wonders, then I just applied a thick coat of boroline on my lips at night 🌃 an woah.... My lips were healed within 2 days. M a Bengali and boroline makes me remind of my grandmother. She actually used to smell like boroline, and Johnson's baby cream. Boroline ZINDABAD! 💓💓💓
My whole family swears by boroline, my sister gets the worst case of peeling cracked bleeding lips 😑 nothing works for her but boroline, a must have for us👍
@@RutujaDicholkar Many people donot like the feel of lipsticks,why buy two diff items for just one need? And it would look good on students going to college wherein they may not be allowed like in medical colleges or class 11 or 12😁
@@ghanroopikanahar703 In college or junior college, there shouldn't be such rules in first place. Wearing lipsticks isn't a crime and neither does it send wrong message to anyone. You should be questioning the authority if they have such rules for female students. Secondly, having a lipstick and lip balms gives you the best of both worlds. You can just dab a little lipstick on your lips after applying lip balm and you have tinted lips with the feel of lip balm on your lips. You can also use the lipsticks when dressing up, be it whatever ocassion or just casual selfie session. Seperate tinted lip balms don't have much coverage and are very shiny where else most people prefer matte lipsticks as they don't transfer much, neither they're sticky. So lipsticks can do both jobs, you can have less and more coverage according to your preference but with tinted lip balms you don't have that flexibility. Sounds better right?
@@RutujaDicholkar Firstly wearing a lipstick or not is one's choice. No one forces them to wear/not wear it. Many people donot like the feel of lipsticks at all for eg me. So we use tinted lipbalms for a pop of colour that a lipstick gives with the feel of a lipbalm. Not everyone likes matte texture. Everyone has options and preferences,so I feel it is good to let them be😁
We Bengalees also feel that boroline can heal broken hearts as well :P .. pun intended.. but yes boroline is a must have in our house hold since like forever....

Till date, my nanaji still uses boroline..i use it for my heels ..sometimes in winters i feel ..moisturiser is not working i mix boroline..it is that brilliant..

Arata is such an underrated brand, I use their conditioner, hair cream and hair gel and it's worked wonders on my hair, the conditioner is water based, very light and makes my curls pop.❤
As I'm bengali from Kolkata Boroline is house hold name in every house u will find a tube of Boroline😊. I hv pigment lips love to see some tinted lipbalm.
I would love to try Juicy Chemistry 😊 And Vasline was my go-to lip balm and cracked heels back in the day. I later switched to Sebamed on my Doc's recommendation, but off late using Body Shop lip balm and is really good!

Thanks Shweta. 🥰🥰 My lips are extremely dry. The Earth Rhythm lip butter gets absorbed into my lips in 20 minutes and I need to reapply. The Laneige lip mask does nothing for my lips. The strange thing is the only lip balm that hydrates/works for my lips is the Avon Naturals one. I apply a good layer of it and go to bed and in the morning the dry skin comes off. Nothing else hydrates my lips like this one. Will try the Arata one.

So glad you didn't talk about Laneige lip mask. I have felt that it turns the lip color to black and obviously does no wonder. It is thick, feels heavy.
I am a Bengali too..and needless to say that whatever happens, we always reach out for boroline.. I am using JC rose hip lip balm , it helps in pigmentation a bit, but , is not that hydrating as I have extremely dry chapped lips. Will give the earth rhythm a try for sure..always love your recommendations ❤️

I really like the ikkai lip mask too. It's the perfect combo of moisturizing and light stickiness that will make sure it lasts for a long time. Cheap and u get a huge amount. I wonder why it's not more popular.

You look beautiful, Shweta! Yes! My choice is so similar to yours. Vaseline and borolin are evergreen. It's good that you mentioned them unlike other beauty bloggers who show only fancy ones. The reason I always look up to you and your recommendations is because I find you honest and straight forward which is much needed in these times where people endorse harmful products just for the sake of making more money. I've got grey hair in the crown part, I'm not sure which hair colour is safe to use since I have sensitive skin. Shweta Vijay was one of the first beauty influencers (if not THE FIRST ONE) to talk about it. I bought it due to her recommendation and it works well for me in summers.
My lips always use to chap so much..I bought just herbs lip balm mango and marigold one..She s true, it s very light one and i don't think it helped me get rid of chapped lip.. I started coconut oil pulling fr some reason...And unbelievably my lips do not chap at all now..I only have pink and soft lips now... Aishwarya
My favourite is Calendula lipbalm by Suganda. Wat a wonderful brand. Big thanks to you for introducing some amazing Indian brands. Lots of love to you ❤️
Ditto. Have used Laneige etc but started to appreciate simple non coloured hydrating lip balms. Like JC range but now in love with Suganda Calendula. Like it comes in stick instead of tub and makes it so convenient to apply on the go. Searching for similar ones but can't find any good ones meeting the criteria
OMG!!! The Queen is back!!! I am currently using Vaadi Herbals lip balm and its excellent!!! I love Lychee variant. Completely natural, it contains steam distilled lychee (every lip balm it changes with the flavour). Once I am done will try these beauties!!
