Honestly kinda easy to learn, its mainly arm motion and hips. If your able to simulate throwing a ball without moving your entire body it becomes a little bit easier. But obviously it takes a lot of time to be able to make accurate throws
@@deinonychus6674 catching a ball bare hands and throwing it at high speed with precision is very common in cricket, also cricket ball is really hard. Still, it's not right to compare different sports as every sport has it's own challenges

My point was that even if cricket can have that facet of it's game that it shouldn't invalidate objectively great plays like shown in this video from baseball. Also I still maintain that it is more difficult than cricket in most other aspects especially due to how far the mound is away from the batters box and how fast the ball is moving. A really good batter in baseball has a .300 batting average which is only successfully hitting the ball 30% percent of the time. You're hitting a round ball with a round bat which naturally will be extremely difficult. Now me knowing that I don't look at a great hit in cricket and go "wow you clowns you think that was difficult and impressive well it's nothing compared to an MLB hit". @harshareddy7857 Okay. Cool you might have played more then me but that doesn't mean I haven't played. I'm very fucking aware of how fast that ball can move. But with baseball, at that close a distance with that little amount of time to catch the ball properly. It's kinda like it would hurt... you're not hard because (I'm assuming this because you're acting like a bit of a bitch) you play cricket a bunch.
My sister was a division 1 collegiate pitcher back in the mid-90s in the Big East. When she comes off the pitcher's mound slides her foot she's less than 35 ft away from the batter. Girl has cat like reflexes. Freakish the way she would snatch a comebacker
To all the cricket players, in baseball you are taught from day one to catch with your glove hand and you might go your entire baseball career without catching one bare handed. So it is making a hard comeback catch differently than you have been conditioned to your entire life is what makes the catch somewhat remarkable. My son probably owes his life to a barehand catch I once made by accident which was probably a lot more impressive than this one. Playing a fairly shallow third base when the batter hit a rocket to my left that then curved back into me that I caught with my bare right hand right in front of my groin. I wasn't wearing a cup so it could have been a really nasty result. I tried to make the around the horn toss to the 2nd baseman look casual but my hand was so numb the ball only traveled about 10 feet and bounced all the way there. Anyway, the best play by far was the left handed throw. That was impressive.
Seems baseball having huge fanbase in US, once i had this bat with me in school but haven't moved for a tournaments and matches, Everywhere ground is occupied by cricket 🏏 players here in India...😊
Ooooo buddy. A cricket ball is much heavier than a baseball. They travel further in velocity due to their size and weight. Plus cricketers catch these 160 gram balls bare handed. Plus the rules in cricket are more complex than baseball. But the pitch in baseball is definitely more difficult than in cricket. Reacting at that small space with that speed of a ball is for sure daunting.
Baseball players feeling proud after hitting in a hitting range of 30 cm😂 meanwhile cricket players have to hit anyway ranging from the toe to the top of your head(at the same or more speed of the baseball)😂
Also, these catches are known as caught and bowled in cricket 😂they are VERY common and much more difficult too, because of the hardness of the ball(silicon and leather instead of rubber)😂
@@CaneGlue I think you should watch cricket. A harder ball with a more pronounced seam. None of the fielders wear gloves. Some of the balls caught/fielded by them are well over 80 mph and sometimes even over 100 mph.
idk anything about baseball, it looks dangerous plus the lack of protective clothing makes it seem like a stupid game. but boy was the throw electrifying to watch.
Can someone explain how a tag out works, if the fielder on the base collects the ball before the batsman reaches the base of he need to collect it and touch the batsman or base
Ok so if there is noone on the base behind you you dont have to run but if you do the only way to get you out is tagging you because you can run to the base you came from
