Personally I use the edge panel to keep my home screen clutter free. I keep my main used apps there and the quick tools available there (gif maker, level, ruler etc) are handy

I am an IPhone user and I automatically fell in love with the S10 might switch

I'm left handed so when i go to landscape mode i turn the phone to the right, power button on the bottom putting the cutout at the bottom right. I think that makes the cutout even less noticeable as darker content is usually at the bottom , ground , sea vegetation etc . The way i see everyone else using it puts the cutout in the brighter areas like the sky and that makes the cutout really stand out but still less annoying than a notch which always intersects the horizontal or vertical axis so whenever you look up , left or right you see the notch. With the cutout at the bottom i find i totally forget about it. I mean how many times have you stepped in dog shit because you weren't looking down !

Subbed. Also, I recommend putting the device into high performance mode. It boosts the resolution to qhd+, but also increases the brightness by 10% and increases overall performance. Makes the display and user experience so much better.

You can also turn on this option of allowing a downward gesture anywhere on your home screen to bring down the notification panel which I find super useful on the larger s10 plus.

I use edge panels all the time, super useful to get to frequently used apps without cluttering your home screen. Part of the reason i've upgraded to an s10 from an s8. rather than a 6t on mate 20 pro.

This is genuinely interesting. As someone worried they wont like android, small changes like this are really nice to know. The bixby button to get to the clock is great. I set about 10 alarms a day.

I love the edge panel just cause I like keeping my screens pretty clean, maybe have a widget or two on a 2bd screen then keep all my fav apps on the edge. The one thing I'm really missing though is the LED. Hoping an update will give us some more customization with notifications and changing the size of these icons.

Omg. So glad I found this video! Really a great help for me! Just switched from Huawei Nova 2i to Samsung Galaxy S10+. So I know it'll be quite like a new world for me. It was my first time to do pre-order as well. Hoping that it's all worth it! PS! Can you please make a video about S10+ screenshots, scrollshot, screen recording and split screen? Also if there is the App twin, file safe, private space/main space. I used to like that feature on Huawei, so hopefully Samsung has that too. Anyways. Thank you and keep up! :)
