If you're like me then you like listening to some... rather strange content while you fall asleep, so I put together a compilation of 16 of my favorite and scariest SCPs to help guide you into dreamland. I hope you enjoy it and I'll see you next week for an all new entry from the classified files of Dr Bob!
I love that the Demon Core was a real plutonium core that actually took the lives of 2 scientists. Harry Daghlian, performed the tests with the tungsten carbide bricks, and Louis Slotin performed the tests with the beryllium dome. If you want to learn more about the two incidents, I recommend the video by Kyle Hill.
I absolutely love the fact the Demon Core was made an SCP since it’s one of the only moments in popular history that would DEFINITELY qualify as an SCP
The City All Of Blood one is so sad! Seems to me that the boys were taken to this realm, their bones used to build the structures, the blood rain taken from their bodies, and their spirits used to sing the notes. That's why the voice becomes panicked after a bit, they're being forced to hold the note for longer than their bodies can sustain safely. Eventually, they're unable to hold it anymore, and it kills them, as the key breaks because the spirit is no longer able to perform the note.
Jack Bright is a scp and is immortal so yeah that could be the case. I also find the matter than we cannot see his face interesting, almost like a anomaly effect is taking place.
He basically admitted to being a K-Class reality warper. Go watch his video on the ring of children, he eventually explains that SCP was created by a reality warper getting confused by it's containment. And then as always there's an interaction with the SCP he's mentioning at the very end, but in this case instead of an interaction with the reality warper, he shows the warpers cloak hanging on a coat hanger in the background, marking the first major piece of evidence as to what Dr. Bob really is. 😏
Umm what if 3 dog like things are born and if the 3 can’t merge it becomes 3 grinners if it does merge it becomes a Cerberus or if their still born they become the tooth fairy’s living safe with a insatiable hunger for teeth just an idea for everything
still love how he's a very powerful scp himself with no fear of the others he knows everything about the scps but listens to the foundation and doesnt tell top secret things i believe bob here is a keter/safe class anomoly
@@Chaotic42Kami No?? Thaumiel is an container-type SCP generally used to contain other dangerous SCP's. People cannot be Thaumiels. He would be Safe (or Euclid like most other humanoid SCP's) as he is easy to contain and wouldn't have access to other SCP's if you threw him in a concrete box.
@@jacksmith8479 No. A Thaumiel class SCP is one that is useful in containing other anomalies. The first Thaumiel, if I'm not mistaken, was SCP 3000 and that is a gigantic eel, not a "container".
@@Rim_Tv400 Tiamut class anomaly isn't even a thing that exists. Tiamut is a fuckin' Marvel Character 🤦♂️ Classes: Safe - very easy to contain or do not need many resources to contain. Euclid: SCPs that require more resources to contain completely or where containment isn't always reliable. Usually this is because the SCP is insufficiently understood or is inherently unpredictable. Keter: SCPs that are very difficult to contain or haven't yet been contained. Generally, the resources used to contain these SCPs are often very limited, yet they need much of the resources to contain it. Thaumiel: SCPs used by personnel in containing or counteracting other SCPs. Apollyon (very rare): SCP that are impossible to contain and/or are expected to breach containment very often[as in, more often than Keter class anomalies]. Usually associated with world-ending threats (or 'K-Class Scenarios), it requires a massive effort from the Foundation to deal with. Archon: SCP's that can be contained but are not due to their positive anomolous effects on our planet's reality.
Top rules I discovered so far: - let's trespass - do not alert authorities ever - if it looks dangerous, do not stop until it is proven so - go in one at a time / let's split up - also don't let your friends know you left them - teamwork is just a fancy excuse for people who lack bravery and leadership - ignore any warnings from others - avoid reporting injuries - never ask for help, you can do it! - protective suits aren't hip, also if it is weird touch it, touch it a lot! - your friend's back after misteriously disappearing or being agressively abducted or separated and looks weird... hugging party! - if it is creepy, check it upclose immediately - exiting the same direction you came from is amateur and silly - turn on flashlight only when it is obvious you are a slpit second from death - if being able to survive first encounter with entity, make sure to go back alone a week later! - once the D class you sent inside exipred, make sure you repeat everything after them! I hope these apply well to most of the stories above that help vic... protagonists reach the cover of daily news
The city of blood sounds somewhat terrifying in its own right. Perhaps each key is the soul of the boy singing the note itself, holding out the note as long as the key is pressed before their "voice box" gives, and causes the key to "die". Perhaps this is why the voices sound so much more panicked as time passes and they are forced to continue singing. The test on the keys should never have been performed imo, but I do think it does give a better understanding of the situation behind the organ.
@@mr_snow_23 When I said "soul" I meant more of the "essence" of the boy. I do think that a part of their body is in the organ, but not as a whole and only as a couple parts: the key and the sound (the key most likely being one of the boy's bones and the sound most likely being the boy's voice box). However, this is not enough to be the entire body of the boy, and most likely no way for the boy to have physical consciousness. However, their "soul" is still in there, which is how they can sound more panicked as time passes and they continue to "sing" their note. That's my thought though. Not saying I'm right, just what I think is going on.
It is true, the boys entire body & soul, with exception to their bones, have been transmuted into the keys which facsimilate a larynx and windpipe essentially and their bones become a part of the buildings, it's quite sad that the skeleton within the examination tent erected by the department of anomalies was a transmutation stopped in progress by the voluntary introduction of a prepubescent boy into the city of blood!
We all probably notice how godly Dr Bob is as he probably knows ways to survive and live a normal life even if SCPs attack as he has a way to counter just about all of them who attack him
@@Nempo13 They don't dare to touch the real 'taboos.' When I see the first story about how Jews possess anomalous power to gain high ranks in every country's government and media corporations, I'll give them the label of taboo breakers. Be mindful that to this day, in Europe, people can even get jail time for questioning what happened in Germany during ww2. Simply challenging is too much, yet they dare to speak about freedom of speech. It's easy to break boundaries and taboos of the past, but writing about controversial topics of today can get you fired from your undercover job. It ain't easy being an SCP fieldworker. A few years ago, we tried to warn people that China released a dangerous anomalous virus, but people weren't reacting fast enough, and it ended up taking the whole world, and now it's here to stay.
@@binchicken5079 Good since I knew it was a video in my dream but also kinda didn't and I had a dream of each story but I was just dreaming what the guy was saying so it wasn't a scary dream
Never contaminate the experiment. If thr D-Class forced himself to keep calm because of your words; you influenced the test and messed up the data. They are D-Class: Disposable Class. If they break their mind or die is no sweat to the foundation. So don't comfort them.
While watching, my lightbulb blew. Oh well! It was spooky. This video was spooky, infact! You executed these perfectly. Very creative. Kudos to you. 10/10 returning to this channel. Who knows? Dr Bob could be an SCP too. Lol. Just what I needed to watch on a friday night.
You guys declaring Bob an anomaly miss the big brain headcanon: he's a SCP researcher in the training department whose got some skill in animation. He and his team put those goofy end card bits in for fun and to improve moral. I picture him and Dr. Bright having a coffee: "Don't we wish we could just prune old Grammy's arms, eh Bob?" "You know it." All in universe kidding aside, this channel consistently delivers good work. To our animator, and Bob's voice Joe Cliff Thompson... thanks for making me feel like I'm sitting in a dimly lit office as Bob pulls out another file. "But that's nothing. There was this director..."
I love how Dr Bob was throwing the demon core up and down when it exploded with the force and sheer strength of 2 to 3 nukes and I do occasionally drop off to the scariest-friendliest scp stories to fall asleep to
I find the drain worm part funny, the fact you put a rubber duck in its mouth is honestly funny and the slight squeaks it makes when merging down is adorable. Most are literally nightmare fuel as well 🫡🌫
I love the special detail Dr. Bob puts into his videos. Went as far as to put a filter over his voice while under water after first trying (and failing) to talk on cards. I love these videos
I really appreciate the collective videos. I'm glad more channels are doing this. I'm a big fan of your videos so having them in one long video is great! Thanks!
I've listened to many of Dr. Bob's compilations as I fall asleep, and also just to entertain myself. I've noticed that at the end of almost every part, he is either treating the scp as a pet or he stopped it from killing him. Overall amazing animations and content
I think from a literary perspective it's meant to represent the violence and hypocrisy of religion specifically catholicism. The cathedral are literary built of the innocent young men and the blood represent past sin that can never be cleansed.
The one about True Solitary is interesting especially considering the Foundation's reaction to the researcher telling that D-Class he would comeback. I get it messed up the data for the experiment, but it sends a bad message when it comes to the treatment of D-Class personal (as they punish someone for treating the D-Class like a human being). Sometimes even the Foundation can be unnecessarily cruel even though they are supposed to be cold not cruel.
“Cold but not cruel” should apply to SCPs as well, as they have an entire committee and MTF-ω-1. Both of these failed though, in cases such as 054 or Eric’s toy, where they’ve permanently made friendly SCPs untrusting.
scp 983 Class:Safe Ability:Amazing videos Special Containment Procedures Nill, He can leave the facility but MUST return to the facility before the day ends
I couldn’t help but to laugh during “The Butcher’s Chariot” file, when the friend would run away during every high stress situation. I swear something new always seems to entertain me with every time I rewatch one of these magnificent videos. I get so excited whenever a new video drops!
The fact that Dr. Bob’s face remains entirely hidden by shadow even with all the lights he turns on to kill the spider just prove he’s some sort of anomaly himself, lol
The demon core might be the first ever scp to actually spook me. I know the story of the real life demon core by heart and there are few scientific missteps that make me shrink back at all the modern protocols that had to be ignored for that thing to go super critical like it did.
You know someone should do a statistic check on how likely you are to die in the SCP universe. You can be anyone anywhere on the planet with any amount of weapons and supplies short of other SCP's.
I would say depending on the circumstances you are highly likely to due. Especially I any number of XK scenarios, in which unless under very specific, very lucky (or unlucky) cases, youre dead
@@Nempo13 SCP-69,420 Exposure to SCP-69,420 results in the user having an uncontrollable urge to create Hentai and those who observe it afterwords will become infected with the SCP-69,420 memetic hazard. If left unchecked the world could collapse due to everyone always wanting to draw hentai. I know it's completely ridiculous but tell me that's not something they would actually have in the SCP universe right next to the long corgi and the multiplying cake.
Imagine being in sensory deprivation for 1500 years but with the time Perception being like 300-400 times more it feels 450000 years of sensory deprivation
Gotta say, I LOVE Hunters narration, and SCP-Explained Introduced me to this genre but...Dr. Bob won me over! He doesn't use that annoying stick figure, ball hands, "blah, blah, blah" animation style. It feels more realistic. Also, he isn't afraid to SHOW the blood, horror, and gross things happening. I'm not a scared child, give me the GORE. XD Well earned sub, my dude. Keep up the good work! Welp, time to go binge some more. Edit: Had to add that I love how the end of every episode is likened to the SCP talked about. The metal man screaming but he has noise canceling headphones on. The demon core being lightly juggled in his hand. Nice touch, brother! Edit...damnit: The Witch? Wt actual f?! A deer darted out, you crashed, she got killed because she was tossed from the car...and you treat it like "I know what you did last summer"? Call the effing ambulance! You didn't murder her ffs! >.
I like Hunter and Dr Bob.actually I like both animation styles. When I want to laugh while I'm working I'll go with Hunter. When I'm doing something and don't feel like listening to music I'll go ahead and concentrate with Dr Bob as well. It all depends on my mood with who I'm going with at that time. And heck some compilations have both of them on their and the inforgraphics guy. So hey 3 for 1😅
@@FaceFamous You know, that's a fair point. It's not like I don't binge both. XD And I had no idea the other voice was the infographics guy! O.o awesome.
Tbh.. Dr. Bob voice actually calming enough to make you fall asleep when watching his videos.. and I have, couple times falling asleep when watching his video complications.. lol
Why do I get the feeling DrBob is, himself, an SCP. It seems the DrBob SCP enjoys researching other SCPs and their interactions with humans. This SCP also seems to find it very important to declassify all known information about Other SCPs. To what end? Is it to protect us by arming us with knowledge? Or to protect unidentified SCPs by educating them how to better avoid detection? Conclusion: Study is inconclusive. Further research needed.
The guy said it himself, he got hit with a baseball. Most of his teeth probably were all or mostly broken, so the dentist probably removed the broken pieces and was getting him prepped for prosthetics the next day. I'm reaching here, but that's how I understood it.
These Archives are absolutely incredible. The SCP Foundation has a lot of encrypted, classified information that is quite interesting, and... anomalous. These are things that I do watch while falling asleep, I'm glad I'm not the only person who does this. These files are quite amazing, and I'm suprised that the Foundation hasn't shut this down yet! I'll keep watching these.
Proof has shown that these anomilies pose a pychological affect on all present and can give nightmares, vivid images and mental deterioration for long exposed periods, so this video is itself posing a threat to the world
On SCP-2678, I'd like to point out the combination of cathedrals made of the bones of 7-to-12-year-olds and how one could say "tickling the ivories makes the bleeding stop but it can't wash away the blood" and honestly whoever wrote 2678 was ON ONE against the Catholic church and it's both heart-wrenching and AWESOME.
I thinks it's awesome so many of us listen to this while we sleep. Do any of yall dream about what the video is talking about? I do and it's an usual experience. Some times really creepy and others really fun / interesting.
I love listening to these and other strange stories as I sleep. They make my nightmares more tolerable. My brain has the weirdest and scariest "what if "conversations with me. Guess it's kind of like Pathfinder or DND but my brain is the Game Master. It's cool to hear that different folks have experiences similar and also enjoy them as well.
The fact that the SCP foundation just has a bunch of cursed mirrors in a jail cell that doesn’t actually keep the SCP from traveling around and (possibly) killing and trapping people in more cursed mirrors and they’re still like “it’s contained, we’re doing a good job 👍” is so hilarious
Have officially watched all of Dr Bob's videos. Def my favorite of its kind, out of the major scp channels. Although they're all good, for different reasons. Can't wait for new uploads!
