Eh I would not call those online gacha games a JRPG. They just have "anime style" visual. I couldn't really explain it without a long wall of text but if you played Persona 5 and then Tales of Arise you would feel the familiarity but if you play Genshin Impact for example then I would bet you wouldn't feel the same.
granblue is a single game man .. with coop, u can create and join lobby, hmm... like monster hunter i think 😅 unlock more chars through story, not gacha game 😊
Thank you. I'll put a few games on my watch list (some were already on it anyway). Project Mugen Honor of Kings: World Grandblue Fantasy: Relink Duet Night Abyss Wuthering Waves One Punch Man World Zenless Zone Zero
The project mugen them song is so good tbh Every time I’m reminded it’s mostly multiplayer I’m sad, but then see the sword/bow girl and hear the song and I’m like 👁️👄👁️
Actually, Ark Knights Enfield is actually releasing on PS5 as well, they show it at the end of the beta announcement trailer. Granblue Fantasy Relink is one of my most anticipated games for 2024. I've been following its development ever since it was announced 7 years ago. The other most anticipated is Dragon's Dogma 2, I understand why it's not included in a kiat of JRPGs, but I feel it's worth a mention.
There are quite a few new titles in the making, although they might come in 2025 at the very earliest, such as Breakers : Unlock The World, Armed Fantasia, Fate Extra Record, and so on, if they can even be called JRPGs
@@blahblahblah7563 why don't we call all of this just an RPG games coz when i play in PS one era there is no such thing as JRPG, and now because of the Western people name this JRPG everybody start saying this bs 😑
@@yellow13foxtwo well the jrpg thing is understandable cuz it looks very different in many ways but still call it rpg cuz not that many people know this only when they make a difference and some idiots with“WTF is your problem”brain
Zenless is confirmed for multiple platforms (sourced from the official zzz social media accounts a while back) so it will most likely be for pc, PS4/ps5 and probably mobile as per usual
@@BryanLeung-sn7co "JPRG" was coined to categorize a very specific genre of games - RPGs made by Japanese studios, not Japanese-style. Still saturated with action rpg. I miss my turn based RPGs. Only one was kickstarter funded by fans of Suikoden and a ps2 remake. Glad to see the SaGa series revived by square enix but those overworld graphics didn’t look like they got a lot of love 😢, I won’t get my hopes up
need more competitors to Monster Hunter... God Eater managed to held on, but unfortunately no sign of 4... while a risky move, it's better than another FF, Persona or DMC rip-off
Endfield like if anime girls play in death stranding. I am sceptical of Project Mugen because NetEase, unless Nexon/BlueArchive thingy happened again. Look forward to Duet Night Abyss kinda, but it depend since looking at Snowbreak current condition that is just so-so. Still waiting for Wuthering Waves, please don't take too long. Hundreds Heroes looks interesting.
Arknights look crazy! Im also hype for Decapolice, Project Mugen, Metaphor, Vision of Mana... Already have Grandblue and P3 Reload! Pretty good yr for jrpg and action rpg! Not a fan of tactic rpg so... Outside O,Travelers 2... can't say much! I try the famous Gatcha Atelier R... and yep...nothing more than a gatcha.. Only thing is fun, is to see all those Atelier's caracters! But the gameplay mecanic is so simple and boring....

@@Stalinfalcon Really? Have you played any of the above games? As a matter of fact, that predatory monetization where progression is locked behind paywall like a lot of the Korean MMORPGs has been banned in China, they're all taking after the Genshin model where F2P can truly progress, provided you have self-control.
@@KrazeDiamond Provided you have self control. Give me a fucking break. Predatory is predatory, I don’t give a HOOT if we’re talking Great Whites or cutesy fucking tootsey Tiger Sharks. Gtf oudda hee.
They are made by Chinese developers but the style is Japanese anime, so they're JRPG. Genshin Impact is made by a Chinese developer miHoYo, but the style is copied from LOZ:BOTW, so do you call it Chinese RPG instead of JRPG? You don't steal a culture and call it your own, it's cultural appropriation. JRPG is a style, not where it is made.
Would not hope for it.. I'm in the official discord because I backed the project and they've been pretty consistent since the beginning that the only platforms they are going to release it for are PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch and PC
14:10 if you know dragonball, tell me that isn't dabura looooooooooool dude ran out of ideas dragonball, dragon quest, blue dragon now sand land they all look exactly the same not even just the style but everything to the clothes they wear and things they do its crazy but hey i'm a massive akira toriyama fan
I think we realy now leave in the world when you call anything whatever you want If game has leveling mechanics, and it made in anime style - it's JRPG
I paused the video half way thru to double check if the titles says ACTION jrpgs for PC...but no, it says awesome jrpgs for all consoles...you appear confused if all these action mmo looking games are awesome for you. Big dislike
I wondered about the inclusion of several Chinese games here, but these were indeed so heavily influenced by Japanese cultural influences that they were completely indistinguishable from JRPGs.
honor of kings isnt jrpg- THATS DISSAPOINTING HEARING A DONGHUA CHINESE GAME NAMED AS JAPANESE RPG LIKE- THESE ARE CHINA GAMES NOT JAPANESE😭 ENDFIELD, HOK, ZZZ, Wuthering waves etc.
