For an honorable Mention I would say Heathers parents from Total Drama. I know that she most likely wasn't the best child, with her somewhat narcissistic behavior but giving her electro shocks and not only start nonstop Partying, when she was gone to the show but also sell/dump(not sure if they got Money) all her possessions at that time says a lot about the Parents.

Actually in the Jackie Chan pole slide, the burned hands were the LEAST of his injuries which included electrocution, a back injury and a dislocated pelvis. Upon arriving at the set of the 2nd movie he was filming(at the same time as Police Story), He was immediately taken to the ER for emergency treatment.

Surprised Butterscotch and Beatrice are that low. We all know how screwed up Bojack is, some of which is his own doing, his childhood and adolescence constantly berated clearly makers then quite possibly the worst parents ever.

Dishonorable Mention: *Odalia Blight - The Owl House -Many of the entries on this list simply aren't there to support their kids, but in this case, maybe the parent in question was around too much. The best way I could describe Odalia Blight is a cross between Mother Gothel from Tangled and Ghetsis from the Pokemon Series. To say that Odalia has her "family" wrapped around her little finger would be an understatement. She raised her own daughter, Amity, to be a bully, had Amity's friends expelled when she felt they were a bad influence, tried to get Luz killed during a Blight Industries expo, and was even willing to go along with Emporer Belos' genocide plan under the false promise of gaining power and a place in high society. Even her own husband, Alador, was a victim of her abuse. Is it any wonder why Amity disowned her?

I mean, kicking Lincoln out of the house was the only worst thing they've done. You wouldn't do the same about hiding or wanting to do community service if you had 11 kids?

Fact; Mum and Dad's real names in Horrid Henry are (Ecstatic) Eileen and (Silly) Simon. Also, Dad is shown to actually be nicer to Henry, having been something of a horrid boy when he was young, while Mum tends to treat him worse. There's even a belief that Henry could have ADHD or Autism, yet his parents don't even seem to take the time to think about that. They also disrespect his interests and (as shown) tried to portray him as the child they wanted (which included claiming that he doesn't eat sweets or watch TV, eats all of his vegetables and does all of his homework, even when he gets double), which backfired when concern was raised to them that Henry's apparent behaviour wasn't that of a normal child.

Calling Lynn Sr. and Rita bad parents is ESPECIALLY controversial due to the vast amounts of fans/viewers willing to defend their behavior. Trust me, I've seen my fair share of them over the years

The thing is, I'm sure Horrid Henry's parents have every right to punish him. But they can get too harsh with him at times. For example; there's one time they grounded Henry by removing the contents of his room, isn't that disturbing?

Stephen and Linda, Timmy’s parents and Horrid Henry’s parents. I had a dream once and all those parents got grounded by their kids.

In the previous worst cartoon parents list, Peter and Lois were #2, while #1 was Mr and Mrs Turner. It's ironic that it was revearsed years later, but I completely agree. Peter and Lois are worse.

Personally I think TImmy's parents are worse than Peter and Lois, because at least those to CARED about their kids (at some point). Also, honorable mention: Arthur Read's parents. Just take a look at his sister. There, enough said.

On Caillou's parents, take this from Willy Wonka's Oompa-Loompas: "Who do you blame when your kid is a *BRAT,* pampered and spoiled like a Siamese *CAT?* Blaming the kids is a lie and a *SHAME.* You know exactly who's to *BLAME!* The mother and the father!"

If anything, Heinz's own parents should be on that list, not him. While Doof is eccentric, he's not a bad guy, he's just misunderstood, and it's because of his parents. His childhood was rough because of them. They didn't show up to his birth, favored his brother, Roger over him, had a dog named Onlyson(like they don't have one of their own already), disowned him and was being raised by ocelots, shunned him for not jumping from the high dive, his dad made him dress like a gnome and stand outside for hours, and his mom made him wear a dress for a year just 'cause they were out of material. All this shows how horrible Heinz's parents were to him growing up and we can all sympathize towards that. But when he had a child of his own, he made sure he gave Vanessa a better childhood than he did. He threw her a party for her birthday every year, showed up for her recitals, protected her, and most of all, searched far and wide for the doll she wanted as a kid and got it for her. Vanessa appreciates him very much and although he can be a bit cooky and weird, he's a good dad to his daughter. A much better parent than his actual parents for sure

Oh come on, Heinz wasn't that bad. Sure he isn't the best dad but at the very least he actually tried to be a good father to Vanessa and actually wanted what was best for her and even supported her. Peter and Lois used to be good parents until the modern seasons

If I had to choose parents I'm glad are not mine, I would choose Crimson, Cash Buckzo, and Paimon from Helluva Boss. Paimon is Stolas' dad, Cash Buckzo is Blitz's dad, and Crimson is Moxxie's dad. Oh and I can't forget Stella from Helluva Boss and Odalia Blight from The Owl House. Stella and Odalia are both horrible wives and mothers plus they are both so abusive that their husbands decided to divorce their wives for their children's sake, heck Stella even hired Striker to kill Stolas and she even admits to enjoy tormenting him. As for Paimon, Cash Buckzo, and Crimson they are the definition of worst fathers to their sons. Paimon is neglectful and forced Stolas to have an arranged marriage to Stella, Cash Buckzo is greedy and manipulative to Blitz that he forced him to have a playdate with Stolas while stealing his riches, in the episode Oops, Cash Buckzo gave Fizzarolli a card that says, "I wish you are my son" which is wrong on so many levels which caused Blitz to accidentally caused a fire in the family circus. And the worst parent of all is Crimson because he abused Moxxie since childhood, killed his mother off screen, forcing him to marry Chaz and wear a dress, he's also very homophobic and doesn't care about Moxxie's sexuality. That's just beyond wrong and he's even vowing revenge on Moxxie while throwing a knife at Moxxie's picture as a little kid.😨😡

This just makes me appreciate my parent a lot more and makes me glad these people aren't my parents. I'd leave home and never come back.

Having Doofensmirtz and Charline at number 5 is crazy. Charline is pretty much a normal mother and the worst thing for Doof's parenting is embarrassing his daughter. Doof's beating the cycle brought on by his parents. They should be in the slot instead. They might get even higher on the list thanks to 2 more seasons of backstories for Doofensmirtz's latest inators.

No way in the seven rings of Hell is Nicole and Richard worse that Beth and Jerry. The former pairs love story is everything, and at most they do their best to support and cheer the other up. Richard may have a few faults, but his love for his wife and kids are so genuine and his best quality. Nicole is, overly competitive, overworked and overwhelmed ( I mostly blame Gumball for that) but she’ll bust some skulls and destroy anyone’s spirit for her family. Beth and Jerry’s relationship on the other hand, well if space therapy says it, then it really is (was) a fucked up dynamic that shouldn’t of happened. Also, I think that they’re putting too much pressure on Jerry finding a befitting job. He could work as a garbage man, a janitor, or even a mail man and they’d still give him flack

I'm working on writing a series where I believe my protagonist has one of the worst parents ever. 1. My protagonist's father physically abuses his kid. His mother does nothing about it. 2. Neither parents is involved in their kid's life. His dad goes off to strip club and is involved in a gang. His mother stays at home to get drunk. 3. When the protagonist was a little kid, his dad spent 10 years in jail while his mother would go bar hopping and go off and sleep with many different men. 4. His father tries to get him killed when he believe he was involved in him getting arrested again. 5. The protagonist's parents also let other members of their extended family abuse him. 6. The protagonist was born on September 11th, 2001, and his parents tell him that him being born was the worst thing that happened that day.

Lincoln’s parents became better parents as the show progressed but they are kinda one dimensional because the dad is a chef so every time we see him it has something to do with food and the mom is not bad but not the best she often left lily alone and forgets about her and leaves her care to the other kids

He kinda disrespects Cookie for lying, not being responsible and not letting her know. Even though Teresa is the oldest of all the 3 children, Cookie wouldn’t let Teresa do what she wants to do Deb and Dwight Turnbull Show: Robotboy Why they are the parents no kid would ever have? Deb kinda punishes Tommy if things go too far even though she loves Tommy She sends all his toys and Robotboy to the orphanage in Cleaning Day Dwight is a dim witted father who loves Donnie who is a bully more than Tommy Dwight sends his sons in a forest where the car has been stolen in Mancation (I don’t hate all worst parents but there are worst parents that deserve hate in my opinion)

Peter and Lois Griffin are really horrible parents, so they're the worst I've ever seen! Even Stephen and Linda Stotch, Mr and Mrs Turner, Boris and Doris, and Horrid Henry's parents are terribly bad! Oh, Heinz Doofenshmirtz's parents certainly weren't the brightest bulbs. I also do hate Stan Smith, but I'll forgive Francine Smith, who's always being mistreated by her husband. Drew Pickles is still funny. However, there's one other couple of parents which I think should be on the list, though they aren't so mistreating: Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig from Peppa Pig; they're about as worse as Boris and Doris, not giving their children any discipline when they misbehave. 😠 The cartoon world can be full of really hateful people, just like the real world.
