A lot of sets I would like. The Steve Ellis set has everything issued that is available. The notes state there was some early stuff, but this was wiped or lost. I still need to read the rest of the notes with my magnifying glass app. A point that should be mentioned to the labels about the miniscule print. Thanks Phil.
Hello Phil, and a Happy New Year to you, It is always a pleasure to watch your vids and reviews. I did purchase the Van Der Graff box after watching your review, and I absolutely love it, thanks for the preview. I heard about some of the upcoming Black Sabbath boxes/reissues, and I'm looking forward to hearing about them , as well many others that '23 will bring. thanks again .Cheers
Hi Phil, great reviews. I have purchased so many of the box sets and cd's you have recommended and every single one has been incredible. Thanks so much.
Nice video. It's great to see the music of Gary Moore and Rory Gallagher continue to make an impact. Two Irish guitar masters that are gone but not forgotten.
I love your channel. I love vinyl and I do collect vinyl reissues but I am in agreement with you as far as cd's are concerned. Thanks very much for the work you put into producing your channel.
Hi Phil, great haul. I picked up the Gary Moore album last week at my local HMV (£5.99 in the sale, the vinyl was also on sale at £19.99). It is brilliant!
This video was very helpful 👍. I have the live Go by Stomu Yamashta on vinyl. Always loved it. Your highlight of the box set availability prompted me to check Amazon. It was 36% off. It's on the way. Cheers 🍻 Greg
Hi Phil. You're right about the packaging - so important to give listeners something to see and read too. The Steve Ellis set looks fantastic. Widowmaker would've made it a year or two earlier or later, but his Ellis albums should've got more attention too. The guitarist, Andy Gee, was one half of Thin Lizzy's first guitar duo (with John Du Cann). Bombay Calling looks interesting too. What's really odd is the Bad Company reissue series. The first three albums all came out when you'd expect them to, but Desolation Angels, which came out in '79, didn't get the reissue step until 2020. That was one of their most successful albums. Rough Diamonds, released in 1982, got mostly negative reviews, so I didn't really expect it to be released last year, but there's no news of it this year either. It's so overlooked that even the Brian Howe albums (loved the feature!) are better-represented. Cheers.🌐
Hi Alex, thank you for watching, the Steve Ellis set is well worth getting. Rough Diamonds by Bad Company is remastered and ready to go but Universal have lost interest. They were hoping to release the huge box set by Free they had planned and that is why they had the enthusiasm for the Bad Co deluxe sets. Then Rodgers vetoed the Free set and that was that !
Hi Phil. Thanks for the inside info! That's why they're dragging their feet, then. Paul Rodgers' bands are in a funny position, with Free being better-known but Bad Company having sold more records, etc. Then there are The Firm and The Law!
Hi Ian, thank you for watching. I don’t think it ever will. Humans have always collected things and if anything there is drive in this digital world to feel closer to real tangible things. Phil

HI Phil,it's incredible all the reissiues in rock and classical MUSIC !it's FANTASTIC AND I FORGET JAZZ,DO YOU SPEAK JAZZ THIS YEARS? SOMETIME? THANKS AGAIN 🤗
Oh man Phil, that was a great idea about putting the Animals Remix album in the Discovery box set. I have both so I'm gonna have to use your idea and do the same!
Will they ever issue a proper 40th / 50th annivesary remaster of all the classic STYX albums on CD / Blu-ray audio (which would be even better)? It's like pulling teeth and very much hit 'n miss as far as what is currently out there! So far, I only see a vinyl box set. Is it possible to petition a record label or recording studio to do this?
Hello musiclover. Im also interested in music but if I bought so much as you do there is no time over for friends, cinema or books, Sweden fan of Psych% Moondog......
