Debaser is definitely my fav fig scent! I had a bottle of Phylosykos and ended up selling it because I never reached for it. Debaser is much thicker and juicer IMO!
My favorite fig fragrances are Debaser from DS and Durga and Yesterday’s Haze from Imaginary Authors along with a few from your list. I believe fig is an underrated note for the hotter weather. When most are gravitating toward citruses and aquatics for the Summer, I always make sure to go a little off the beaten path. Great video as always!
It’s funny to find this video because two days in a row I wear Noble Fig by Ferrari, surprisingly it’s so goood and also super affordable. Truly hidden gem!
The most photorealistic fig tree/bark/leaf fragrance I have is Dior Dune Pour Homme. Although I like green fig scents and have a bunch, I really try to find the fig fruit/nectar heavy scents. Those are more rare, and I kind of combine them with date, plum and dried fruit heavy frags. Yesterday Haze from Imaginary Authors has a fig fruit note plopped right on a whipped cream note. Even Dolce&Gabbana K EDP has a fig nectar note blended into that underrated composition.
I really enjoy smelling Figue by Molinard on my husband. About a year ago I blind bought a bottle after you mentioned it in a video and have been happy with it since.
Panouge Patchouli figue is the closest thing to a signature I have. Very calming, complex and addictive. It actually shines in the high heat and becomes somber and reserved in the cooler weather.
Le Labo The Noir was love at first sniff for me aswell. Beautiful scent. Also random shout, Matierie Premiere - Parisian Musc has a wonderful fig note although not a "fig" fragrance.
I’m testing philosykos and fico di amalfi today. I’ve been wanting to test out fig man for a while now. Nice fig video, definitely an underrated fragrance note that smells good on anyone
Great list, Sebastian! By the way, did you see that Byredo ended up being sold to Puig, not L’Oreal? Sounds like there was a last minute bidding war, or something, going on there.
The only one that I know from the list is Carner Barcelona Fig Man. I have Philosykos, Silver Birch and Panouge Patchouli Figue in my to buy list. Still a lot to try, but that's the beauty it, buying 2-3 fragrances each month as I try to do, it's almost impossible to run out of options. Thanks for the list Sebastian!!!
Hello Sebastian! Many interesting fragrances in that list!! The Essential Parfums one sounds good to me You know, I was told I smelled of fig when I was wearing VC&A santal blanc!
Thank you for this video. I love fig accords. I wear Philosykos, Jardin de Kerylos by Pierre Guillaume but my favourite is Wild Fig by Claudia Scattolini an Isipca graduate who creates wonders.
jeez, are you reading my mind or what?? After smelling and purchasing Fig infusion I am searching for more delicious fig fragrances. I was drawn to try the Silver birch
You convinced me to get an 8ml of the Patchouli Figue 😍 so excited to try it!! I actually cane here hoping to hear something about Philosophy Sweet Vanilla Fig. I know it is a cheaper fragrance but still interested to know what ppl think of it? Has anyone tried it??
I have both versions of BDK’s Gris Charnel .. I enjoy them both .. the Extrait being the one I wear in the evening and the other more of a day scent for me.
I have been obsessed with the smell of fig leaf ever since I was born in California's San Joaquin Valley! It is everywhere...even the central coast! So I was infatuated with Dior's Dune for men because it was the prominent note along with citrus. It was my favorite summer scent. And now it's discontinued?! 🤬 So I'm having to find new alternatives. There are a few in your list but the one I'm most excited to try was not. It is based off a Greek island that shares the same name: Kastellorizo by Maison de Parfum Berry!
Thanks Sebastian for all these Fig fragrances , I never explored Fig notes in fragrances that I know of . But this list is a great way to try a few out and add to my collection . Have you left for Paris & Europe ? If so have a safe journey . Cheers Brutha ✌😎
My favorite figs are: Wulong Cha by Nishane and Une Histoire d'Homme Irrésistible by Mauboussin. Together they cover my fig itch year round. I seen Fig Extasy by Mancera when it was first announced and am struggling not to add it to my collection. I just have TOO much. Good job.
I have discussed Dune many many times! I left it off as it is now removed off of the USA Dior website! You can find out more about it in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eC_Ki1UWh24.html
Sebastian, can you do a vid of some awesome Licorice perfume? I noticed that Licorice weirdly smells so alluring with my own chemistry and offer a beautiful woody, spicey without being too earthy like how patchouli can be on me. Thanks!
I wish I knew whether you were omitting Debaser because you didn't test it, or because you don't like it. I guess that's the downside of never sharing your dislikes.
