I love the care and detail you put into your creations. I just finished watching this video and I’m even more delighted with it than I expected!! I enjoy watching videos and being exposed to new ideas, however the quick and easy creations that aren’t created with care are disappointing for me. I’m 61 years old and grew up with the standard of doing the best I can with whatever I do. Watching the patient care you give to each project you do is very satisfying! I would enjoy having the inspiration piece and completed pieces shown side by side. I think my favorite was the telephone. 🙂 Thank you for being on RU-vid.

For the oven cover, I had the same disdain of a 4 slice toaster. My father made a 3 sided box with a top, of course. He then cut out six squares to look like drawers. He then put some tiny porcelain knobs in the center of each drawer. I chalk painted it and it looks like old spice drawers. I love it!

Tip on painting 1/2 beads - place them on painters tape spaced apart so they don’t move while brushing on paint. U can also reuse painters if not too messy😉

I just saw a fellow crafter put her stain and the wood half rounds into a ziplock bag and mintulate it till the beads were covered. Then she dumped them out onto a piece of wax paper and turned them round side up to dry. I think this trick is fabulous !

My absolute favorite project is your amazing painted floor. It's got to be one of the cutest floors, tile, or no tile that I've ever seen anywhere. I wish we lived closer so I could pay you whatever you would charge so you could repeat it on my kitchen and bathroom floors. You are no doubt the best crafter on youtube! I love every one of these diys. I can't even pick a favorite. They are all great. Would you do a video on how to set up a new sewing machine right out of the box as if it were new. Love the braided hula skirt vase! Gorgeous! Tip for you when sewing hems/seams: I was taught to place the pins perpendicular to the hemline and you don’t even have to remove as you are sewing because the sewing machine needle slides over them. (I’ve rarely had it hit directly on the pin anyway)

Little sewing tip, place your pin the opposite direction with the head on the outer edge & you can sew leaving your pins in till done, sewing right across them! Love your diy's

One great blessing that came out of 2020 was finding you here on RU-vid! I absolutely love your content, and you are so inspiring and calming to watch. My favorite diy of yours so far is the Christmas village you made out of Dollar Tree houses and foam board (I had to make mine from scratch from your templates...thank you!). I absolutely had to recreate this and had so much fun using my imagination. I now have a beautiful neutral village I can enjoy for many years to come. I LOVE #8. The idea of braiding the Hawaiian grass skirt hasn’t occurred to me before. I’ve been wanting some natural chargers for a more casual Thanksgiving table setting that includes napkin rings that I made with PVC plumbing connector wrapped with burlap ribbon. Chargers made with the braided skirts on a plastic plate will be perfect. Additionally, vases made like yours would be perfect on the table for decoration.

Your prices are lovely. I love the three jars on the rose gold tray. DIY #12 is so stinking cute and easy. You got it going girl. Keep up the good work !! On # 13 I think a altered Christmas ornament and some holly with its berries would be stunning. I have some poinsettias that also would look awesome used here!! Also love the Neiman Marcus tray. I trick to painting half beads, stick them to contact paper before you paint them. They peel off just like a sticker and much easier to paint! Loved the video!

For your barn door vase project there is a plumbers mount “tape” that is a metal strip on a roll. It has holes -big, small, big small. It is easy to cut and bend. It would be perfect and so much easier. I also think the alternating holes would be a cute little detail.
