Dividing the Himalayas into three parts for this video is like dividing the Rockies into the Bitterroot, Wasach and Rockies. It makes no sense. They are all the same mountain range, formed at the same time, by the same process.
No Hindukush and Karakoram are different Kashmir Valleys lies between Karakoram and Himalayas Hindu-Kush starts where Himalayas end and they are not fromed because India collided with rest of Asia. Hindu-Kush are central Asian ranges. Karakoram can be considered part of Himalayas but there are some differences in vegetataion and landscape .
Dividing the Alaska - Yukon ranges to feature the Saint Elias Mountains (Mt Logan) and the Alaskan Range (Denali) as different ranges makes no sense. Not only "They are all the same mountain range, formed at the same time, by the same process." but also they are just 622 km/387 miles apart. That is like dividing the Himalaya into Assam Himalaya, Bhutan Himalaya, Sikkim-Eastern Nepal Himalaya, Central Nepal Himalaya, Western Nepal Himalaya, Garwal Himalaya, Punjab Himalaya. It's over 2000 km in a straight line from Namcha Barwa to Nanga Parbat and yet all those great peaks and ranges are considered as part of the Himalaya.
Nobody considers the Karakoram or Pamirs as a part of the Himalayas. These are distinct ranges. Together it spans a far far higher area than the rocky mountains, thousands of kilometres more. How can you call them one range.
@@anshul6168Hindu Kush was also formed because of the collision of the Indian subcontinent with Asia. It's not a coincidence that all the tallest mountain ranges in the world are found in the same region. The reason for their formation may be the same, but they are distinct ranges - because the "reason for formation" was no ordinary event. It was a spectacular event that produced an entire region of high altitude.
Comment section is so funny 😂 Guys Highest Mountain PEAK AND RANGE both are different! Peaks are like Everest,Denali, Aconcagua etc .... Ranges mean Himalaya, Andes, Rockies etc !!
Your definition of the Eastern Rift Mountains is stretching it a bit, The Rwenzori, high point 5109m can hardly be associated with Mt. Kilimanjaro there being several hundred km between them and a very large lake, Victoria.
Proud of my country Tanzania we have Kilimanjaro the highest Free standing mountain in the world and highest in Africa 13 in general highest mountain proud to be Tanzanian 🇹🇿🇹🇿🇹🇿
The top are all part of the Himalayas tho, they are all formed by the Indian plate pushing against the Eurasian, You can also divide the Rockies and the Andes like that.
@@YouShouldKnowThisYSKT not everyone comprehends the English language. About 30 years ago I had a co worker where we did tower work together during winter months in the Arctic. He would take time off to climb all over the world. At 58 years old he set a record climbing the highest peaks on every continent in the shortest time.. He also was the first successful . winter solo climb of Denali. On a clear day I can see that mountain up the road about 1/4 mile from here.
You may include it in the Andes but it is quite different. You should have included the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta Range in Columbia as it has a peak at 5,528 m (18,136 ft) and is the second-highest coastal range in the world
you are mising a Daxue shan (east-tibetian range system), which is the fifth highest range of the world, with max. elevation 7556 m, Pamiro-Alay range with max. elevation 5621 m and Ruwenzori mountains in central Africa with elevation 5109 m
In top ten mountain in world top 8 in nepal; only 9 th and ,second from others country.second and 9th highest peak in pakisthan.10th,8th,7th,6th,5th, 4th, 3th and First Mount Everest.
K2 is in Pakistan, not Nepal. So is Nanga Parbat. (Okay I saw you edited it, apologies). But I think Gilgit-Baltistan in Pakistan is more mountainous than Nepal and more spectacular. The Karakoram is more glacial and cold, due to its much higher latitude. And they have roughly the same height. Also, you share some of those mountains with China and India.
