Honestly Brock is such a Homie. He’s still probably one of Ash’s best traveling companions, and will remain top. It makes sense why they made him stay with Ash the longest. We all need someone like Brock in our lives.

I will die on this hill that Satoru not getting the girl was a perfect way to show that he was a true hero like he always wanted to be. Making sure that everyone else is happy at the cost of your own happiness is the kind of melancholy but positive message I would want from that series.

Satoru wasn't trying to get with Kayo he was trying to save her that's the whole point. Plus he is a adult in an child's body it would be weird if they got together. Also since Satoru saved both his friends life what are they supposed to do wait for Satoru to wake up?! They can't put their lives on hold because of Satoru. Erased ended the way it should have.

I enjoyed the Bleach fillers & The 4th great ninja war. And while Brock leaving did make me sad i don't think it ruined the anime.

For the shows I've seen, I can agree with the most part. You could argue that L dying ruined the show, it's just the outcome afterwards that ruined the show more or less. L dying was executed extremely well, it's just when N and the others were introduced it made the show less entertaining for me.

Berserk isn't an example of being careful with what you wish for, but being careful with who grants the wish.

the concept of erased is giving up and making sacrifices for others. by sharing his life with others and helping others makes their lives so much better. he has influenced the destinies of so many and his reward is that he sees their lives change for the better not to mention that it makes him a better person and his life changes for the better afterwards. I think that's much better than a classic romantic ending

Seeing Wonder Egg instantly made me hold my head and let out a frustrating groan. That was some midichlorian-level explanation the writers pulled, with the added bonus of being horribly insulting towards real-life issues.

Aliens in the Gundam 00 movie actually made sense if you’d have actually payed attention to 00. Literally the entire plan Celestial Being was following was to prepare humanity for first contact. And the theme of 00 itself was how peace can be attained through understanding. Both of which A Wakening of the Trailblazer followed up on perfectly. I admit aliens in any other Gundam would be strange, but for 00, it was honestly a perfect ending

Maybe I’m in the minority and def not ruined, but as heartwarming as it was to see the happy ending in clannad I think the whole anime would’ve been much better if they focused the first part more on just nagisa and tomoyas relationship and then the second part was with tomoya just finding new meaning in life through being a dad for ushio and leaving it at that

I loved the Muramasa Arc in Bleach. There are times that the creator of the show needs to do a side story. Brock leaving the group really upset me.

Man, I really thought that 7 Deadly Sins S3 and 4 would be on the list or as an honorable mention. I hate those animators that ruined it by a landslide.

Kokoro Connect's amazing confession did not ruin the series, what the hell? As for a real situation that ruined an anime, it was season two of Kemono Friends. That was a disaster in every way possible. It's a good thing Sega soft-rescued the series with the mobile game that's technically season 3 (seriously), and a manga series that redid season 2 but with actual care was made, but the damage was done. The kicker is that the original director for season one ended up making big money from his own original project, as well as a few random shorts from his Twitter account being put on DVD and SELLING OUT ON AMAZON when Kemono Friends' second season was failing. When a director for an anime gets fired and takes precedence on national television over a missile falling into the ocean, you know someone screwed up big time.

I think that any filler can be bad if it just drags oooon and ooooon... And then there is always the risk of Arc Fatigue, where one plot point in the overall story just goes on what feels like forever...

At least GT introduced a badass Saiyan transformation.

The Strongest Sage With the Weakest Crest skipping the entire first arc and Moriarty the Patriot skipping several arcs(like the Baskerville arc) should have been on this list

Erased ending is good. Because life is not a love story, it's a horror story.

I feel like we all knew tpn season 2 was going to be here. Season 1 was peak and the goldy pond arc would have been amazing.

Yep promised Neverland season 2 definitely deserves number 1. Loved the manga. I never even got around to watching the first season but as soon as I heard about the second season I said fuck no I'm not going to watch the first one now

It does suck he lefted but what really sucks is they changed his dream form when he was very first introduced he wanted to be the best Pokemon breeder in the world and they just pretended that never happened for God knows how many seasons he talked about it.

I wish Naruto would end differently. It was my childhoods anime and I always loved how detailed, thought through and emotional everything was. I always thought that when it ends im gonna be in tears but towards the end they started to introduce so many characters, so many different motifs, everyone was so powerful all of a sudden and the anime kinda became an action movie and lost the mysteriousness and character development that made it so beloved. Still loved it though.

I actually liked the Shogo Amakusa arc in Rurouni Kenshin.. it's not based from the manga, but I think it's quite underrated..

I actually enjoyed the zanpakutou rebellion and The fake shinigamis arc. I would really like to forget that the Bount and princess filler ever happened. These two fillers were really horrible.

Kokoro Connect's confession was hilarious; it didn't hurt the series at all. BTW the show is really underrated and deserves more fans.

I personally still really liked the Pokémon X & Y and Sun & Moon anime don't get me wrong I really like Brock but I was fine with him leaving. I can't really judge the Pokémon Black & White anime though I remember liking it but I haven't watched it in a long time.

Erased: There was no romance there. You obviously forget that he is a 28-year-old man in an 11-year-old body. A man that's already in love with a girl where he worked before he was sent back. And in the last episode you see the girl again, she is the big sister of the little girl he is talking with. And that is saying that he now have a new chance to get the girl he is in love with. Oreimo: Simple explanation. Ruri knew that Kyosuke never were in love with her, but in his sister. So one of the reasons she decided to date him was to force both of them to acknowledge their feelings for each other. She never wanted to stay as a couple, since she knew that he didn't love her from the start. DragonBall GT: IT was a monstrosity born out of greed. Hoping to cash in on a very successful Anime. It completely failed, and both the DB creator and the fans refuse to acknowledge its existence.

5:07 Again, it's annoying when people complain about Satoru and Kayo not becoming a couple. It was the Author's choice not to have them become a couple, it's his story. Boys and Girls can be best friends without falling in love. Satoru is a 29 years old man who was stuck in the body of his 11 years old self, and it would have been creepy if he falls in love with Kayo, who was an 11-year-old child. Be thankful that Kayo is saved from a terrible fate. It does not matter what people will say, I still love Erased for what it is (and the Manga had a better well-paced ending than the anime ever did since they omitted Airi from episode 11 which was an upsetting decision).

I'd have to put the whole of the anime of Samurai Deeper Kyo. No matter how much I love the anime, it went off the rails. Especially when the manga is absolutely awesome and needs an english reprint.

Never got why people Satoru to get with Kayo when he was a 29 year old in an 11 year old body when he knew her.

To tell ya'll the truth, "The Promised Neverland" (2019 -2021) franchise could have been the "NEXT BIG THING" for me after Brynhildr in the Darkness (2014) but unfortunately after seeing the disastrous second season, I lost all hope for the anime series and decided to go back and continue on with supporting my favorite anime series of ALL-TIME, Brynhildr in the Darkness (2014). As of 2022, Brynhildr in the Darkness (2014) officially became a "Masterpiece" and its still going strong without any anime sequels to this day and I'm very happy about that. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

For the record, the Baby saga was amazing and the Black Star Dragons were pretty decent.

I think a moment that should've been on the list is Raphtallia getting turned back into a little girl in Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2.

To me in the Pokemon anime, Brock will always be a toned-down horn-dog womanizer, and Misty will always be Little Miss Gyarados. Nothing more.

WOOOOW. Right out the gate. It was the very first thought I had when I read the title and was ready to see it higher on the list.

What about One Piece’s filler episodes, more specifically the millennium dragon arc? They were unnecessary episodes that, like all filler episodes, don’t tie to the main story. I guess the filler episodes with the characters in Japanese setting were ok, the filler episodes that were tied to a One Piece movie were necessary to a degree, and the Chopper man episodes were also unnecessary. In the end the filler episodes made One Piece longer than it needed to be.

I don't think "the animation" qualifies as a "moment" for Berserk. I don't disagree that it was bad, but that doesn't qualify for this list.

Berserk is one of few Anime that should Never be made with CG. I wouldn't care how long it took to make a decent season of Berserk, just keep it Animated like The Original Series.

Brock leaving wasn’t the part of DP that was quit worthy, Ash losing to Tobias was worse.

The reason they turned Goku into a kid was because at the start of GT he was the most powerful being. Surprising everyone out of nowhere with a new more powerful threat couldn't really be done anymore since they introduced the kais, so they needed to weaken him in some way for the plot to still have stakes.

12:07 With the whole world in peace from Celestial Being. The plot for the movie still need a antagonist to fight. My idea would fight a different close reality gundam group. A small example would be that the alternate gundam meister's gundams would be powered by microfusion reactors.

Honestly, I like filler episodes in anime - a couple of filler episodes and episodes that are made for anime (and anime exclusive characters) that stray from the manga. In my opinion, filler episodes serve as "temporary breaks" to the main story esp. if the story/episodes involves A LOT of fight scenes. Also I hate the Bount arc from Bleach. It was boring but then, in my opinion, they appeared because the groups mascot and Kon appear on the new ending song of the Bount arc until it is done.

What about Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki? The reason(s): it was given a 3rd OVA but Mihoshi was more an airhead then she was in the original two seasons. Also, the fact we are introduced to Tenchi’s sister, whom is nearly identical to his late mother; his grandmother (cough)…I mean mother’s mother, whom, like so many of the women living with him, has the “hots” for him; The Devil Princess of Jurai (Tenchi’s great, great grandmother); and finally Noimke, Tenchi’s fiancée that was picked out by the grandmother. Honestly, if Tenchi’s life wasn’t hectic enough, these characters, as well as several others in the years to come only make it much more GODDAMN complicated and too hard to follow the entire story onwards.

Nothing in Tokyo Ghoul made sense after the first season. It's literally The Ping Pong Ball of Anime. 💢

In the defense of ERASED, when the series began, Satoru was working a shift with a girl that I felt had feelings for him. So him ending up with her instead of with Kayo was bittersweet. I don't know how my sanity was kept intact with the constant changing of the main villain during the Fourth Great Ninja War. The Endless Eight should have only lasted 2 or 3 episodes, not 8. How in the world did sibling incest ever become a thing? Or so popular? There's an annoying anime trope. Interrupting two characters from taking the next step in their relationship.

Brock leaving (the 2nd time) did not ruin the pokemon anime

I did not like Erased Ending. I think filler episode can be OVA Episode due to filler episode being distracting sometimes.

How is it everyone complains about Bleach and the filler arcs but never complain about Naruto and its filler at the end of the first series.

Yes Bleach has several filler but some of them are actually worth watching. The Zanpakutō Rebellion and Regai arcs were actually good for being filler. The Bount arc however is so long, boring and goes against the lore already set up.

When there’s just a bunch of goddamn fillers in an anime and it deviates off of the main story, it really ruins it for me. It’s why I never cared about Naruto at all again. And I’m still pissed that the Enishi arc was never made for the anime of RK. The OVA does not count, because it really had a crappy ending.

Dbz android/cell saga toriyama didn't know what to do with that arc he basically wrote trunks in the story to help Goku defeat the Android in Goku's time, then he wrote in Dr gero and android 19 to face Goku and ssj Vegeta then he didn't want the androids as the main antagonists since they killed Dr gero and basically Went on a road trip to kill goku so he created cell to absorb the androids and reach perfect form and that was Dr geros secret plan so cell saga was convoluted

we all know there is a limited amount of artstyle in anime that looks good in 3D and in 2D there are so many more options I've seen quite a few anime with a good concept but looks like a video game on PS3

How about the Season 2 finale of Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It? After a decent first season, I was looking forward to the second, but they dropped the ball real bad with that one.

Realistically speaking, I personally love fillers alongside the episodic/monster of the week shows in which I have no problems with personally but even so, I wholeheartedly agree with most of the picks on this list; especially regarding Brock leaving in which really left an awful taste for many fans and secondly, putting Tracey as a substitution was honestly one of the worst decisions they’ve made and sadly made Tracey one of the most forgettable characters throughout the Pokémon franchise by many fans, ouch!!! 💀💔

I will say, I do believe that Alicization saved the Sword Art Online anime, cause the second half of seasons 1 and 2 were so uninteresting (except for the Mother's Rosario arc)
