Got a bit carried away with this one, so you've got a top 20 instead of 10 😅 which Battlefield primary weapons do you think are most underrated?

M60E4. I have so many memories of me and the boys flying around blasting Fortunate Son while we hung out the sides of helis shooting super inaccurate rounds at kids below

Love the look and feel of the 1895 Trench. Carbine lever-action in the First World War? Yes please

Finally someone acknowledges the m1912 experimental and it’s lethality. I can’t even count how many hellriegal users I’ve pissed off with the gun.

The Huot underrated? It had an entire cult following in the BF community! Also M5SD in hardline is my second, my first was the MP-34, which you already had on your list.

BF4: AR-160 for me. Decent enough up close, very accurate. I've tried to use another AR but can't find one that scratches the same itch

i find it hilarious that the think the hk 51 has high recoil because compare to how that gun and other battle rifles chambered in 7.62x51 nato, shoots in real life, thats like a laser beam.

The A91 was actually in Battlefield 3 as well. Since it was new and there was a tougher engineer assignment for it, the A91 was seen quite a bit more. However in BF4, most people saw it as your middle ground carbine that had a slower reload. It became one of my most used weapons, but I'll still admit guns like the SG553, AK5C and so forth are a bit stronger overall.

In my experience in BF1, *far* too many people were sleeping on the autoloading 8, with or without the box mag. There was something about those cleaner irons than the 1907 Sweeper and generally feeling more reliable than the Fedorov series. Even the factory versions had pretty decent accuracy to hit those longer range shots, but that 360 rpm makes a panicked mag-dump just *that* much more effective, if need be.

Being in the british army you might think im being bias towards the L85A2 but in all honesty its only drawback is people complain about its weight. It is a great rifle with the best idea being it having a shorter length over all rifle than a standard M4 style platform with the added benefit of having a barrel length equal to the M16. Its a great weapon in game too

I mostly use the Hout in BF1 since it’s a Canadian made concept. Historically, it never saw battle since it came out towards the end of WWI.

The MP5K from BF3 was such a beast, loved that thing.

My secret "god gun" was the PP-2000 in BF4. I have absolutely zero idea why more people didn't used it. Huge mag and almost no recoil and performs the same while suppressed.

A 91, groza 1, groza 4 is the most underrated in bf4 because NOONE use this weapons. But this weapons so damn powerfull. And also because most of players use aek, acw-r and as val. And this make me sad cause an 91 and groza's (sorry for eng) BALANCED WEAPONS. But the minus u cant change weapons ac.

As a former player of BF3, i have to say i have met one man who tamed the recoil of the M60 in BF3, he was a force to be reckoned with to say the least, and not one to take lightly. As for another underrated gun, the MK3A1, the inferior brother of the USAS-12 from BF3. Fires slower (if frag rounds were equipped, firing semi-automatically was actually faster!) than the USAS, and has a reload of 4 seconds when emptying the drum (not ideal in cqb), but you got one extra shell in the mag instead of the USAS-12's 12 shots. this weapon was a fun challenge to master, but surprisingly the best job for it was when defending a tank to kill off pesky C4 and repair tool enemies (best setup with this weapon was extended mag, rds, buckshot/ flechette rounds). In BF4, the SR338 semi auto sniper, while it took two shots to kill beyond 100m, the weapon taught you how to pace your shots with dmrs and if you could master the recoil pattern, head shot kills beyond 100m were possible, the key is to fire and let the muzzle drop completely (use a muzzle break, cantered irons and whatever scope you feel most comfortable with for beast results) and immediately send a followup shot, the second round would connect before the player could react. Additionally this weapon worked decently as a counter sniper.

I’m not sure why I love the A-91 so much. It’s just so satisfying to use and look at. Chuck a coyote site on and either a suppressor or a heavy barrel and stubby grip and it’s ridiculous..

the model 8 in bfv is such a fun and rewarding gun to use if you know how to play it properly. i find that sticking with iron sights is the most effective tactic - it largely limits you to only playing within its 2HK range (within which it is incredible if you’ve got good aim), and it enables that super quick empty reload

The 1912 experimental and 1895 trench are very good aggressive weapons. The 1912 has gotten me a lot of good kills, and with the howdah, it can be a good hipfire loadout. The 1895 is a good aggro scout weapon, its very good, fills the role better than the carcano in my opinion, and hits pretty hard considering the firerate.

I always loved the MP34 in BFV it was so good

The emp from battlefield 5 is definitely on my list

I had a lot of fun with the m60, but the more I played with it, the more I hated the spread of this gun in all areas.

Mp 28 from Bf5. Very good hipfire with a spec for 50 round mag and a fast reload. Also fired very quickly, up there with the Suomi, Thompson, and Type 2a

The G3A3 from BF3 is so underrated that Kris didn`t even included it in the honorable mentions,the G3A3 might shoot slow,have a small magazine and kick like a mule.But,it has a damage output of 34-22 and a recoil that`s mostly upwards and has great accuracy.It`s the last gun you unlock in COOP and it is worth the grind.

I'll be getting back into BF1 and I agree with some of the weapons featured on this list. Madsen MG was one of my favorites.

The M60 and the Huot and the L85A2 were all guns I used extensively. I love those slower fire guns with insanely high accuracy. I just find them to be more useful in more situations than the closer quarters bullet hoses, even though the MTAR-21 was my most used BF4 weapon.

I've always found it slightly odd how the consensus in shooters, even in Battlefield, seems to always be "The best guns are those with the highest RPM." I don't know about others, but I personally can't almost ever find a use for guns that start going above 800 or 850 RPM, because they're really difficult to use over longer distances, where a lot of the fighting happens. At least if you're not playing Operation Locker, I suppose.

I love bf1 but i dont know why is your minimap that big? Mine is just too little. Shows less than yours. I tried to change it in the options but idk how. Someone please help ☹️

The russian trench was a pure monster, one my favorite weapon of the franchise

One gun in BFV I rarely see used that I absolutely love is the Breda M1935 PG Absolutely insane in the right hands 👌 Also love the mention of the model 8 it’s one of my favourites!

The RSC smg is a good weapon if you want to train your mind or get good with handgun switching, it helped me out a lot with getting good with the revolvers.

Man I loved the L8, Bulldog and P90 in BF4. In BF 1 I really like the Autoloading .35, thou, as everyone else, hated the 5 bullet capacity and the Arisaka patrol

I like how in bfv the first assult rifle the sturmghewer is said like that but the Last assult rifle the stg 44 means the same thing at least the stg part

Selbstlader 1906, especially the sniper variant is pretty underrated. It's pretty awesome with respect to kill times at all ranges, accuracy, and empty reload speeds. Also I'd say the Chauchat specifically in bfv is underrated. It's got high damage, between 10-30m it's got kill times close to the fg42, but it can manage its ammo better than the fg. And on single fire mode it's really accurate and stable at mid and even long range, requiring at max 5 bullets to kill. Really controllable hip fire if you use the enhanced grips spec. On paper the recoil might seem like lots but is not that bad due to its low fire rate.

I fucking love the huot, the recoil and the accuracy are so good that it feels like you are a walking bipod

What about the pdw-r from bf4 I feel like I haven't been killed by it much in my years of playing but it is my favorite gun on the game

I used the A-91 extensively when I had unlocked it in battlefield 4 and I still use it. I didn't know that is was underrated though.

The G36C is my jam in BF4. Perfect for killing at close to mid range, with a pretty quick TTK which is only made quicker if you land a headshot or three. Granted because I haven’t played in a good while, my skills had declined, and I wasn’t as alert as I should’ve been. However in terms of the Carbine class, the G36C is probably one of the best carbines in BF4.

i have one that get pretty overlooked its the QBZ- 971 aka the standard issue chinese gun i see that get overlooked its not a bad gun

How are you able to find full servers on the battlefield 4 jungle maps, those are almost forgotten

RSC SMG has to be my favorite one, it is the most satisfying gun to get kills with (PC)

I'm surprised I didn't see the Perino on the list I used the crap out of it in BF1 and I've seen like 3-4 other people use it since launch and that thing was so damn accurate, also I'd say you definitely missed the Dao-12 from BF4 I never really saw people use it because of the reload which is fine by me cause the rof on it is really good and damage is amazing, and the final in my opinion is definitely the AS VAL I always see people talking shit about the gun while I personally love it and could play it all day long, then again I play with any gun no matter what

I would like to vote the ak12 carbine version from bf4..was it the aku-12? Also most burst fire primaries are very underrated

I think one gun you missed is BFVs Breda M1938 PG not only does it have the best spec choices in the game its unique 4 round burst is insane, killing with one burst up to 50m and you can make that burst faster/more accurate or remove the "delay" between bursts making it an automatic powerhouse that does more damage per shot that any other AR and when in single shot rivals a lot of SARs also, comparing to the AG/M42 or an M1A1 or G1-5

I tried the Sjörgen Inertial once but threw it away when all five shots barely did anything on the target ( he was about the same distance as In the video). those pellets were not supposed to troll like that. And the RSC really does give some blood pressure on players, it's a monster.... Although we all know the other half of the story.

Ironically the m60e4 and the qbu are 2 of my favorite weapons from bf4 😂

The 1906 from BF1 Fast ttk and guarentees a kill with 3 shots from any range plus minimal recoil

L85a2 was my most played rifle in bf3 preferred bullpub in general

Bf4 had sooo many redundant weapons but I loved using all of them, I just wish bf4 had a more up to date Engine and wasn’t held back because of old gen console

You could replace Huot Automatic with Benet Mercie. Comparing Benet Mercie (Storm) and Huot Automatic (Light Weight) -Huot has a bipod, better hipfire accuracy, slightly lower ADS spread and slightly faster rate of fire. -Benet has slightly lower ADS spread while moving, better damage dropoff over range, slightly higher capacity, lower horizontal recoil, lower spread increase per bullet and faster reload.

I hoped to see General Liu rifle. Basically two guns in one with that bolt action mode. Fun fact: it also has a sweetspot where it can deal 100 damage to the body.

Fun fact: the actual name of the commando carbine is the de lisle carbine, and it fires 45. ACP pistol cartridges. Edit: and the gewehr 1-5 is called the VolksSturmgewehr.

I see M60 and Huot, I like M60 in BF4 has no first shot recoil multiplier so equipping an angled grip actually reduces its first shot recoil to 0.8x and with a heavy barrel lowers the base spread from 0.3 to 0.2, this turns it into a dmr. BF1s Huot also has superb hipfire accuracy whilst moving ;)

I love how I use most of them just so I am different from every one else.

the po8 carbine in bfv is an absolute monster, 2x scope on that thing and youll be getting sweeps for days

The G3 BF3 i never really saw anyone use it that much, with only 20 rounds it was Limited. But have amazing power.

I was in a Lockers only server in BF4 and they immediately kicked me for having a bipod on my M60 lol

A-91: yes, and move that baby and any other bullpup from BF4 up the list. Bullpups have better spread while moving, and you should almost always be moving. Commando Carbine: yes, very niche but a good way to add variety to gameplay strats. Sjogren: yup, auto shottys ftw M1A1: i think this was balanced well and is just fun from time to time M60E4: I actually see this quite a bit. I think the M240B is more underrated, and if used with a bipod like it should (a VERY underrated attachment) it's just better and all that recoil disappears. Model 8: yup. Huot: With the dumb inherent random spread in BF1, smaller capacity guns just don't net as many kills before you need to reload and die instead, which is made worse since that game focuses large player numbers. The Lewis gun is barely different than the huot and the Lewis has way more ammo. UMP45: Meh, just don't use an acog. Hurts my eyes you missing the first 2 shots every time you strafe when engaging at range. Not the best situation. G36C: I do see it a decent amount, but its ttk is some of the lowest in the game and my accuracy with it doesn't offset this compared to similar weapons. Gewher 1-5: yup, hit the nail on the head. Madsen (BF1): definitely P08C: yup, another class option that it allows a variety of strats HK51: definitely agree M1895 T: nothing feels better than running this with the peacekeeper and a broken bottle like the cowboy my younger self always wanted to be. QBU88: Yes, yes, yes MP34: no, no, no. i don't think the negatives you mention outweigh it's one positive. The damage at range is the only thing it does better, but that range is so far out that you'd be better off with a bolt action carbine. Also, grease gun does slightly more damage at longer ranges than the MP34 though less accurately. MP34 is very obsolete. RSC SMG: Same issue with the huot but can be good in semi-auto in hardcore. It really should have the Chauchat mag capacity like it's later irl variant. L85A2: this should be number 1. People don't realize that it in BF4, it is the M416 but better. The M416, the most popular AR in the game, is OBSOLETE! lol p.16 EXP: sure, and it does force you to not spam the trigger. Nice to have something that isn't mindless all the time. RPK-12: I disagree, and i really want to like this gun but I just can't seem to hit anything with it. Iarguably

1895 Trench is only useful if you want a PTFO weapon as a scout, the RSC1971 is infinitely better than the 1895, same two hit kill, similar range and damage but fires faster

rpk-12 was my favorite gun in bf4. thing had some stank to it

The Bren in bf5, its Just a decent gun (like the Madsen) The Grease gun, controllable recoil and very high dammage per bullet also can have a supressor The silence sidearms: the PPKS and the silence M1911 have the same stats as the normal Version AND get the added benefit of the silencer, the welrod is basically a pocket sniper rifle that wont give away your Position when you miss (why i like silencers so much: no tracer rounds, reduced Sound, no hitmarker for the enemy)

The HK51 with Burst Fire was a lowkey God Gun

I think the General Liu is so slept on. It sucked at first, but with the bolt action function, its like a better gewer 95... for the medic class! It has really forgiving reloads, is a two shot at all ranges, and has pretty nice iron sights.

The Trench Winchester would have been awesome if they had made it a Winchester 1894 instead of just a cut down 1895 .

Yay, the P08 gets some love! I love using it as a ultra aggressive assualt sniper, flanking and blowing through enemy lines and then watching as they frantically try to stop my squad as they spawn in on the beacon I hid in the bushes and have a fun time assassinaing their snipers and mounted guns, and generally make myself a royal pain in the ass

The model 8 is the autolouding .35

I know it's supposed to be primaries, but the improvised gun in Hardline has an amazing rate of fire and the highest mag size, outside of dual weapons of course, and it has a pretty good damage per shot.
