@@acduck2813 facts. Thibs is a terrible coach. Sure he gets you regular season wins but he burns out his players too much. Deng, Noah and Rose were always injured after 2010-2011
U can just see how Ai revolutionalized the way people dribble. Popularized the hip movement and delayed wide cross over . Stuff alot of guys can't pull off without getting called but it gave courage to players like James harden and Luka to push the boundaries with what is commonly accepted as legal. There was a time where guys would swear Iverson was traveling but the game evolves and the best evolve with it.
Duncan is my favourite player of all-time and one of the things I loved about him was that he would go out and drop 40 points, 15 rebounds, 8 or 9 assists, 4 or 5 blocks and he was cool as a cucumber.
The top number 3 of Derrick Rose remind us how quick and fast he was back in the days. He can drive to the basket very fast in half court with opponent guarding him.
There's a mistake during the 2009 LBJ segment. The second clip shows his dunk at home against the Celtics, but you can see that it was during G4 of the playoffs (Boston is up 2-1). The Cavs didn't play the Celtics in the 2009 playoffs... this dunk is from the 2008 playoffs.
just from watching this you can see how crazy good basketball players are getting is unreal at this point we are just getting used to crazy moments becoming numb to amazingness
The #2 play for LeBron in 2009 was awesome except that it was from the 2008 playoff series not 2009. The Cavs did not play the Celtics in the 09 playoffs. Boston was eliminated by Orlando as was Cleveland. So that play does not belong there.
Yea I talked to the guy who made this video and he said there weren’t enough good clips from 2009 for LeBron’s MVP, also mentioned it was fraudulent and that Kobe should have won that year.
@@masonmetcalf4322 LeBron was at his athletic peak, there are plenty of great plays from that season. Also he had the best record in the league, 2nd in DPOY and led the league in so many advanced stats like PER, BPM, VORP etc
@@bradenpeppenger yeah but I think it's fine to count any great play the guy made at any point during the reg season, playoffs or Finals whether the voting was ongoing or not.
@@pedrolamas6652 i mean being the worst MVP (that he isn’t btw, sorry) is still being an MVP, there is no denying in the fact that d rose was phenomenal in 2011
@@sudowoodo5826 Did you know that the Bulls and Heat went head to head 4 times during the regular season that year? And the Bulls won 3 out of 4 times? Even Dwight Howard finished 1 place above Lebron in the MVP voting. Rose deserved that MVP, it's not even arguable.

@@yourmother638 I would definitely disagree with you. The real mvp swept James in the regular season that year! And Howard and the magic beat the bulls once. One of the smallest point guards took over that year definitely a real a MVP. HATING ASS
I fucking love AI. I was on the Georgetown campus at a bar when he was drafted #1 in 1996. My best friend Dan(RIP) was from Philly, and in 2001, we pitched in and got NBA Live. We saw about 60% of the 76ers games live, and the rest on tape. Watching every game from one of the best MVP seasons ever with my best friend is something I'll never forget.
It’s crazy how LeBron really could’ve won 5 straight MVPs. It’s arguable that he could’ve won it in 2011 but DRose had the narratives and record to help his MVP case.

You can try to convince me otherwise but D-Rose was just different. I've seen many of his highlights night over night but it still impress and excites me like I haven't seen these already multiple times. Gotta love D-Rose.
Still can't believe that Kobe only got one MVP and didn't even get one the season he dropped 81 and averged 35 points and Nash won it with a double double, smh.
And no offense to Nash, Kobe had 10x the plays he did DURING Nash's MVP seasons, like the 81 point game and his crazy game winner over the suns as well.
Cause Nash I believe was the first player in NBA history that season to post a 50-40-90 season. Kobe was a volume scorer. I'll take efficiency over volume any day of the week.
Amazing to see how far technology has come, each year images tend to get a little more crisp and HD. Wish we could watch older games with HD quality we have now.
One of the craziest Tim Duncan shots I've ever seen was overshadowed by the Derek Fisher 0.4 seconds game winner. Top of the key fadeaway over Shaq while getting double teamed. It was an impossible shot and he made it with 0.4 left. The spurs were already celebrating
Man steph and Nash are just so gifted with the ball. Than you see AI and its like wth… Rose was a blur and the fastest I’ve ever seen with a basketball. Lebron is something else.
How did Kobe only win 1 MVP? I remember being so annoyed by all my friends from California who were Laker's fans because all I ever heard was "KOBE". I hated how dominant he was for so long and now I'd give anything to watch him play 1 more time. I still can't believe he's gone. I wish I had a quarter of his drive, work ethic and dedication to being the best he could be. His work ethic is legendary, a perfectionist in every aspect of his life. RIP Black Mamba
@@bmp507 Kobe was robbed of *4 MVPs.* He should have *5.* Denver, CO happened and it was over for him. I hated the NBA did that to Kobe. Part of the reason why I'm not a fan of basketball today.
@@Darius_Icewood That whole Colorado situation was complete bs. Some tramp sleeps with Kobe then realizes if she says he raped her she'll get paid a ton of money. She was such a bust down that when she went to have a rape kit done they found another guys semen and pubic hair in her underwear. She claimed that she just threw on dirty underwear before she left. The fact that Kobe likes to choke his booty calls didn't help. That had to be one of the most uncomfortable and embarrassing conversations he has ever had with his wife. All the people who have sex with celebs and then accuse them of rape should rot in hell. They literally destroy these people's lives because their to lazy to work and earn their own money
MVP performance gets worse and worse over the years, since 2020s it is horrible to watch. No offence to Jokic though, still a good player, but not greatness like Timmy or Dirk.
Why do people keep showing the A.I /Lue play! Lue trip on A.Is feet after the shot had already gone up and both had landed. He didn't break his ankles.
It wasn't that he broke his ankles it was the savagery of stepping over him after hitting the shot. Lue played perfect defense and no one would've played it any better Iverson was just a beast
💯 Kobe was robbed of *4 MVPs.* He should have *5.* He should've won *MVP in '04, '05, '06 & '07..* And if you don't want to count '05 since the Lakers didn't make the playoffs, then he should've won MVP in 2012 which is still *5.*
