Here are 3 ways you can treat a sinus infection at home without needing a prescription. Many times, these simple treatments will help you to feel better without needing a doctor's visit or antibiotics.
I totally agree with the saline nasal rinse suggestion - it really works. Some other things people might want to try are: 1) Eat hot soup or super spicy foods to cause your nose to drain it's mucous. 2) Take 500 - 1000 mg of vitamin C, which is a natural antihistamine 3) Take Ginger supplements, which is a natual anti-bacterial 4) Exercise, which causes your airways to open up and clear nasal discharge
I have had a bad sinus infection at the age of 10 years old, The Doctor wrote down a routine that cleared it up (prescribed nasal spray) -which I will be avoiding, this time around, unless it is absolutely necessary. The routine was if I can remember correctly, is as follows… 1/2, teaspoon, or of salt. - 1/2 , teaspoon, (of baking soda, not sure about baking soda, I can’t see it being a bad thing) mix in one cup of warm water (if you don’t have a nettal pot for your nose, which I didn’t have) this routine is gross and is unpleasant- inhale half the warm water solution, than use the rest of the water to rinse mouth and gargle with. I did this for approximately a week? ( a person’s nasal condition will vary) I still recommend a person visit a doctor. Good luck- heal fast. P.S. I will be trying out that solution again, I have a feeling it will work.
My sinuses got addicted to 4-way nasal spray a long time ago and my ex-mother-in-law saved me by telling me to quit using it on one side until I was able to breathe, then quit using it on the other side. It worked for me. Good luck to those of you who are addicted to sinus sprays!
If you just rinse with water, it will sting your nostrils. Use NeilMed nasal/sinus rinse kit. It comes with 50 packets of saline mixture that you put into bottle. Use distilled water and make sure the water is room temperature or slightly warm. The saline mixture packets will ph balanced the water so you won't feel the sting.

Claritin-D works but you have to get it from the pharmacy workers. They get your drivers license and enter it into the computer to make sure you’re not buying too much because some drug addicts use Sudafed to make meth.
.yep my doctor did and said the same thing, this is the 3rd surgery I have had and within a month the same symptoms are back, I'm starting to feel like they ripping me off or som because these surgery's ain't cheap...now I believe in the illuminati because them chem trails likely taking a toll on large amounts of the population, they even send alerts to ppl in areas of Texas saying limit outdoor activities because of "Air quality "...and that with what's added into today's food and BAM...over time more and more ppl come to see the doctor, and he hands them candy that only make them even sicker down the road 😏 ...and all their commercials during ur favorite shows tell u the risk factor u take that can lead to death or suicidal thoughts...and no ones questions why or how they are legally able to have that given to patients 😮
If you use Afrin for longer than 3 days as stated on the bottle I suggest that you buy stock in the company and obtain a second mortgage to fund the 15-20 year addiction that will follow on the 4th day 👍

I used a sinus rinse. Not because of your vid or anything. But just saying, I did. And now I’ve had a sinus headache for three days. Forehead. Awful. I also am now wheezing. I can feel and hear it in my left lung under my ribs. I don’t want to spend the money to go To the Dr because it’s so expensive. You think the wheezing could be from the sinus rinse draining in the back my throat why I slept? Idk I’m trying to reason what the heck is going on and landed on your vid.
When you have a lot of inflammation in your nasal passages, the water can get trapped in your sinuses, I literally the worst pain ever. It’s better to use sinus rinse if you feel something coming on, not if you have a full-blown sinus infection. I learned that the hard way.
