I thought Zilla - or GINO (Godzilla In Name Only) - was an acceptable monster. If they had introduced it as a brand new kaiju, it might have been more successful. But we'd been waiting DECADES for an American Godzilla film, and Zilla was NOT Godzilla. I remember followingv the pre-release hype for the movie, and it irked the kaiju fandom because they never would give a straight answer on whether TriStar's Godzilla was going to have a breath weapon. And then they spliced in those scenes of Zilla 'exhaling forcefully' and blowing pre-existing flames around, which was as lame as it gets. I do think it's funny that Toho bought the rights to the monster after that disaster, too.

Just because that aren’t the stereotypical kaiju dossn’t mean they aren’t giant monsters

Well in film one: Optimus was getting used to his body Was trying to protect humans at the same time Megatron with that body was the king at fighting and was always stronger than Optimus anyway Second film: dude had to fight 3 Decepticons at 1 time and had to protect Sam, then had to deal with Megatron again and with the fallen Third film: Sentinel Prime was also a good fighter with better weapons and plenty of experience and taught Optimus Fourth Film: Lockdown was a bounty hunter with cool weapons and strength Fifth Film: Megatron had a more battle-ready body than he did in 4, 3 & 2, and got ambushed buy Megatron and 1 point then couldn't fight back the 6 guardian knights 6th Film: Optimus was technically smaller here than the bayverse films and had to deal with pretty much every decepticon on cybertron, but got out one way or another and made it too Earth Seventh Film: Optimus had to deal with Scourge who possessed dark energy from unicron which made it hard to fight, plus was still smaller than bayverse but bigger than the 6th film And I've seen each of these films like a billion times over and can say he's done alright/OK as a Prime, plus if he fought the battles with more ease then it wouldn't be that fun and entertaining to watch

@@WithCars909 "Well in film one" . . . and nothing you said aftewards matters. THE PRIMES ARE SUPPOSED TO BE SUPREME. Optimus makes a mockery of that. Your excuses don't work any better than any of the others. The "Primes" are bullshyte.
