Big swimbaits glides or soft in 7 to 9" sizes, Zmans poppin frogz, senco of any size & flavor. I'd be content with those 3. But jigs is a weakness of mine so I have a rod dedicated for jigs this year, I have a couple swim jigs & football heads to keep tied on to build that confidence. Zmans poppin frogz is my absolute favorite frog. I don't even throw anything else. They have produced so well for me last 3 years there's no reason to change it! My favorite senco is 6" & 7" just a little bit different than everyone else is throwing...
Thank you. Guidance using more Z Man plastics during the spawn will be appreciated. I’ve lost all confidence with Z Man; however, I own many bags of those baits.
Only caught one bass this month soo far , went to a lake today and fished like 8 hours NOTHING just to notice when I’m leaving that it’s a bass tournament and everybody else has 3-5 bass a piece . I was ready to cry, definitely gonna have to take a different approach a guess, I feel like I tried 10+ different baits and lures today tho lol
Just a guy who loves fishing...in many locations.. including mine... the water is still pretty cold..I have better luck with the slow and small approach..they're still not ready for a porterhouse instead a small fillet.ive caught some nice bass on a crappie jig..as the water warms they will become more active and aggressive.early like this slow presentation and smaller lighter set up might surprise you... good luck everyone.. sure is fun isn't it..

I know you got a lot going on with your family, y'all are in my prayers, but please don't forget to go over drop shot for those bass, thank you!!! Stuff like how far the weight should be from the hook, etc.

Lake of the Ozarks. when they are pulling current, does this effect just the old river channel, or is it the whole width of the lake. say from mm 12 to the dam; with water levels that are maybe 80 feet deep. Will both sides of the lake be good. then, if I'm further away from the dam that is pulling, is it best to fish the old river channel, or is it the same there too. I've noticed, it seems like creek arms are better to fish the creek channels, when they are pulling current. ( this is the kind of stuff that I ponder )
Miles, do those Core tackle Ozark Rig hooks stand up on the bottom like a shaky head? I didn’t know if they had more weight on the head or the shank of the hook.
You talk too much and you don't hit the high points of for fishing just like your first date that you kept on dragging out before you actually said what bait you are using so you need to work on hitting the main points of fishing with the Lure
