Stairway to Heaven is my favorite song and it's not in here... I don't care, it's your opinion! :) I watch these compilations, so I can listen to new good songs I didn't know, so thanks for making it!
My Opinion - out of this: 1. Journey - "Seprerate Ways" 2. Chicago - "Hard to say I'm sorry" 3. Van Halen - "Panama" 4. Foreigner - "Cold as Ice" 5. Journey - "Don't stop believin'" 6. The Who - "Who are you" 7. Deep Purple - "Smoke on the Water" 8. Eric Clapton - "Layla" 9. Fleetwood Mac - "Go your own Way" 10. Aerosmiths - "Dude (looks like a Lady)" :-)
Thanks, and Yea I know I could of but basically all I did was pick a unch of bands and pick a song I really liked from each of em, But those songs should of been included :P
I think your choices were pretty much "Spot On"...Except, I would have "Stairway To Heaven"...number 2, instead of Kiss. I just would have had Kiss more like #7...just my opinion!! STILL...a better top 40 than MOST!! Journey with STEVE PERRY...2 songs in the TOP 10...absolutely perfect!!! THANKS!!!!
I'm genuinely glad to see a list without stairway to heaven. Not that I don't like the song, I just hate how everyone thinks it's the greatest song ever and that everyone should love it...
In the United States, the classic rock format features music ranging generally from the late 1960s to the late 1980s, BUT I do understand what your saying the 70's and 80's were to different to compare them.
@alyster1969 Im glad you liked it, and yes maybe the list is messed up cause I gotta do it over :P im gunna make a new one soon so dont worry...and also idk why the angel has no balls
I wish all the posers on the internet could learn to make their own videos if they want an opinion, but hey, whatever. Great selections though, now to look up seperate ways cause I havn't heard that in ages :)
@syrpas0035 Oh I wasnt aware this was your list, and second I wasnt also aware that Hotel California was supposed to be higher or not even there, apparently that makes me gay...
By the way, the backstory behind "Hey Jude" by the Beatles, is Paul McCartney wrote it for John Lennon's son Sean when he was a child... Just thought u'd like some info about one of the songs on the list.....
You see guys, most of these songs are good. Who really could name the absolute best classic rock song ever I like songs like we will rock you and stairway to heaven and I absolutely love when the levee breaks all of us love classic rock so why argue we know that there are still people who Listen to real music
I am a big dire straits fan, they have aswome songs for exmple money for nothing, sultans of swing, tunnel of love, walk of life. try them , i realy liked bon jovi and hotel california or led zepplein , but if you still dont think that dire straits is such an awsome band , my opinion is diffrenet than yours, and i'm okey with it :)
not a bad video just a couple things 1.i dont think 80's is considered classic rock 2. there are more good lynyrd skynyrd songs then free bird and 3. layla was by derek and the dominos but over all a good vid
@Mugenis4real-- No I am not a Bon Jovi fan...I dont have a problem with his music. I have even worked one of his shows in Portland, OR but, I think even he would disagree that he belongs in a top forty classic rock song list. A top forty 80's rock list he should be near the top. That was my only point. He isnt traditional classic rock.
