Judit Polgar is way ahead of other female players. Count also for the rating inflation. 2735 in the 90s is much better than 2020s. It also means she was the best in a time without as much computer assistance.

You speak like someone who has no knowledge about chess competition and is trying to equate other sports to it. Females don't get high ratings by only playing each other. The vast majority of their games are from open tournaments.

What a stupid comment. They regularly play against men. Hou Yifan has beaten super GMs like Caruana and Anish Giri in tournaments. Their ratings are valid.

@leiferikson1066 ratings go by of you win or lose. If you have a tournament and don't allow anyone ranked over 2000 in, eventually those people will raise to over 3000 from beating scrubs.

@@Dc-kk9bd The opposite happens. When the rating pool is much smaller you go in games with the chance of just winning 1 point and the chance of losing tons of points. I am speaking from experience as a player who played scholastic tournaments and adult tournaments. Unless its the state or national championship, good players did not show up. You are completely wrong about these women.
