Judith the queen .... she would be around 2800 easily if she has engines in her time ... she learned everything by book ... setting up pieces after after for each variation... she the only woman to beat Carlsen, Kasparov, Anand, Karpov, Anand, Shirov, Kraminik, Topolaov, Ivanchuk, Gelfand....
you're joking right? Firstly, Judit Polgar has remained at the top 20, even top 10 for well over a decade. She has defeated World Champions like Vishy, Magnus, Casparov multiple times, something which Yifan has only done rarely. In Chess or any other sport, there's always an argument of who's the greatest of all times. Even there can be argument whether Serena Williams is the greatest Femal Tennis player of all Time. Similarly, there will be always be the debate: Messi/ Ronaldo, or Federer/ Nadal/ Djokovic etc. The only GOAT debate where there is no argument is Judit Polgar.
It’s a matter of opinion I guess. Yifan beat Polgar regularly in the games they played. And being in the top 50 today is same as top 5 like 10-15 years ago because there are ten times more GMs due to increase of chess popularity. And of course Yifan is quiet and shy person, Judit is popular and active so people are more likely to root for her.
Hi! I have provided information at the time of awarding the GM. Until 2009, S. Karjakin had Ukrainian citizenship and played for the Ukrainian national team. At the time of awarding the title of GM, he had Ukrainian citizenship.
Judit Polgar is way ahead of other female players. Count also for the rating inflation. 2735 in the 90s is much better than 2020s. It also means she was the best in a time without as much computer assistance.
Thank you for sharing about Yağız Kaan Erdoğmuş, it's great to learn about such talented individuals in the world of chess. I'll take into account this info for next update.
Different eras.. Rating inflation... Had they been playing in the same era kasparov carlsen and fischers peak rating would've been more or less the same
Bro if you make top videos make sure they're accurate ....nothing about this top is real ....haven;t even bothered to put the right pictures with some of these actors.
Hi! My channel has 2 types of rankings: for entertainment and educational purposes. In educational ones, I indicate the specific and trusted source. In this case, it's a video for entertainment purposes. "haven;t even bothered to put the right pictures with some of these actors" - what are you talking about?
The ranking is not outdated. Information is provided at the time of awarding the GM. Until 2009, S. Karjakin had Ukrainian citizenship and played for the Ukrainian national team. At the time of awarding the title of GM, he had Ukrainian citizenship.
the difference from 1907 and 2084 is about the same as from 2084 to 2250 (roughly 170 points), yet the column goes up way more in the second case.. 1:21 and 2570 to 2570 is certainly not that big jump :D
For 2006 year, the correct peak rating is "2698". The column has the correct height, but the rating is wrong. Thank you for your attention. Will take into account in updates.
