I love subzero. I bought my house with an already subzero model 550(at least 20 years) and now bought a pro 48. No issues with either one, they keep my food freshener for longer.
thanks for the video - you forgot to point of the Cubit Feet . the majority of the 42 or 48 you get between 26 to 30 cu. ft. i see some 36" LG and kitchen aid that you get also 26 to 30 cu. ft. you get more4 cabin space and is cheaper . let me know your thoughts
Correct...Cubic feet is a cube. The 42 and 48 are taller and wider, yet shallower so they don't protrude into your kitchen. To your point, you can buy regular refrigerators of similar cubic footage. However, they are 34 inches deep.
I've been watching your vids a few weeks now wishing for one of these to replace my too small refrigerator freezer. I like this comparison a lot. The camera favors the expressive, outgoing, friendly sales manager in your duets. Because the CEO - while not bad - would benefit from making more eye contact and other pro-social interpersonal cues toward the manager. Perhaps due to the power differential? The CEO qualities that shine in this and in his solo videos are his well informed, judicious, and analytical style. In his solo vids, his pleasant near monotone vocal qualities make him nearly hypnotic. If I ever get my wish, I'm thinking Sub-Zero with their excellent seal and options. But I was unaware of the True brand. So if the time comes, I will compare that in my final decision. Thanks fellows!
Interesting. What about comparing new Pro 36 models…. Sub-zero v True v Thermador, etc? Functionality, quality and value not just panel ready or not. I will get stainless steel regardless. On the ones you compared, I think you’re overblowing the height issue. I’m 5’8” and have no problem seeing and reaching a shelve that’s a few inches taller than me. By the logic you’re using, you’d have to be basket player to reach a detergent bottle atop an LG WashTower, and we all know that’s easy for any average height person to do.
Funny, I am the same height and have very little on the top shelf of my integrated refrigerator. The WashTower is designed with the controls in the middle for that very reason.

Can you guys comment about the maintainability of these appliances and the cost of that? Compared to 20 years ago, when you would buy one of these fridges and it would keep working, nowdays you cannot count on that, so you have to take into account ease of maintenance and relevant costs.
