Great video, Nate. i've been really enjoying this series! for me the best 5, 5 shot groups at 50 yards to date is with SK long range match. .320 followed by standard plus and rifle match. Cheers. oh, rifle is a 20" 457 MTR
Awesome rifle! Love these tests you do. It looks like you could take your pick of any of these and shoot a box before you got the very best accuracy but by then you may get bored shooting through the same hole each time. I think you're right about moving to longer ranges to separate out which ammo performs best at 150, 200 maybe more
Well I got it ALL WRONG. I said TAC22 was going to the worst and SK Standard Plus the best. This is great testing way to go. I hope you still have some of the SK Long Range Match left to join the Dayattherange Captain America Challenge
Nice ammo with great testing in a smart low wind location! Sweet rifle too. I would like to see how it likes ELEY Contact & RWS R50 at 50yards & ELEY Force & RWS R100 @ 100yards.
If he got into ara benchrest, his rifle is perfect for factory class, and very well would be competitive. Open class, if you don’t spend 5-10k on your set-up you might as well stay home. Thats why benchrest organizations are inserting a factory/base class to their competitions. If they don’t they will die off. Most folks especially in today’s economy can’t afford a custom peashooter.
