I recently picked up the superlight but I suspect the shape of the 303 might be more to my liking, because I can never really get “locked in” with the superlight, thankfully the weight makes it almost a non-issue.

I’ve been using the gpro super light for a couple months now and it’s the best wireless mouse I’ve ever used batter seems to last 100hrs +

I've only tried two mice on this list. The Logitech G303 Shroud Edition and the Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT. The G303 was a good mouse but I found it uncomfortable for my grip style and decided to return it. I picked up the Superlight and I love it.

QUESTION for Ali: will you ever be reviewing the wired Pwnage mice? I'd be interested in seeing how the wired PUCS2 stacks up in terms of latency. Also, testing latency at the max CPI before jitter, smoothing frames, or tracking issues would be interesting. Thank you, your work is inspirational!

i bought the superlight, and i love how i feel like i have so much more control because of the light weight. my tracking is now better than ever

Just as an FYI, the G303SE can be pretty comfortable when holding it 1-3-1 as opposed to the typical 1-2-2.

can hear the excitement in your voice when you talk about the g303, having just picked it up i can say i feel the same... i've been chasing new mice because of different shape, lower weight etc. for a couple years now... but now that i have a shape that anchors perfectly between my thumb and ring/pinky fingers (and a competitive weight), i don't know if i'll ever want to switch again

Hey, just a note on the Pwnage Ultra Symm 2: it doesn't work with a USB-C to USB-C cable. I've tried a handful of cables from Apple, Anker, and a few others, and it's completely non-functional. They completely messed up the USB-C spec on that mouse, which is a massive bummer.

9:02 In the regard that it’s smaller than most of gaming mice on the list, I highly recommend Orochi V2 to all asian gamers who has small hands. I’ve tried many mice that are well known for their grip. None of them fits my small hand. Orochi V2 is a killer for me from day 1. Build quality is great, the switches feel great, and the performance is insane. Definitely recommend it.

What would be insanely great is if I didn't have to get something like a Logitech GPX Ultralight and the first thing I'm doing is desoldering all the switches and encoder, and replacing its skates. I mean come on! I love its sensor, its weight, and feel in my hand .. but damn a mediocre switches and a mushy encoder not to mention so-so skates.

about the starlight 12, i don't believe they "can't" make enough of them. They are not making enough of them willingly.

I love linux but i can't give in my precise, calibrated tryhard overkill 1.3 sens @ 750 dpi on csgo on a MODDED g603. My muscle memory just goes out the Window. much love from argentina

Sadly they do not have a sniper button. I use that button for faulting. Made a little extension on that button, so it sits exactly at my thumb tip. I have that Logitech Pro X, cordless.

I know this is old, but I cannot retire my old Logitech G600. The thumb buttons are nice, sure, but it's that extra top button that makes all the difference. It's so nice and handy. I wish someone would release a mouse with that extra top button. Maybe 3 or 4 thumb buttons too.

I like being the odd one out, since the gaming mouse I currently use is a large, heavyweight one, which makes it perfect for a palm grip. But this list is great for most people who don't use palm grip and have less flexible wrists. I honestly can't relate these options at all, and I've not seen anyone make a video about gaming mice for people with large hands.

i switched from rival 310 to pwnage symm 2. everything's perfect except that the scroll up button is a bit louder compared with the scroll down but honestly i don't feel it during gaming while wearing headphone. and as i experiencing wireless mouse for the first time, the battery life is excellent. 3 weeks+ until it reaches 20%.

I don't know if you got your hands on one, but the updated Steelseries Aerox 3 still is a decent value. The old one, once you replaced the skates with corepads, that's actually a very solid mouse for FPS, and the new skates design completely removes that need. The shape is imho, one of the best for claw grip nowadays (a slight bit less agressive than the XM1 actually), and everything else on that mouse it top tier : switches, scroll wheel, sensor and wireless. The cable is not the best but I'd say that forgiveable for a wireless mouse (avoid the wired version though, this one sucks with a shitty sensor and a lot less robust build quality since there is no battery in there)

Curious if you had any chance to try out the Pulsar XLite Wireless? 58 grams, ergo shape, kailh 8.0 & what seems like decent wireless implementation. There are also optional glass skates as well. It’d be interesting to see how it’d go through the Optimum Tech testing suite!

The G305 is a ridiculous value. It's got to be one of the top performers in the $50 range. Just an incredible mouse that punches far above its weight class. My daily driver is the original Logitech G Pro Wireless, which is the best mouse I've ever used, but my 305 isn't far off. I bought the 305 a year and a half ago for my living room gaming set up and every time I use that mouse I become impressed all over again. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a budget conscious gaming mouse. It's excellent.

Great list. For wireless ergo try out the Fantech XD5, blew me away how good it is for so cheap, would really be interested in its latency for $60 too. Also I think some larger side of small hands can get away with the G303, mine are 17x10 and I think the width lets me use it comfortable in relaxed claw, what you said about moving to another mouse is so spot on, you just don't get that locked feeling anywhere else, apart from maybe the XM1, MAYBE the Hati S for me having shorter hands.

The g305 is great in terms of money to performance. Swapping the AA battery to lithium AAA is actually a gamechanger so I highly recommend that. However the mouse might not be as universal as the gpro x, since g305 is shorter and recommended for somewhat of a claw grip. The g305 is not comfortable for palm gripping, but if you are using claw just go for it.

Great video, been loving all the mouse review content. You should take a look at the Kone Pro Air, my favorite ergo mouse right now, I think it's a lot better than the glorious.

I have larger hands (I wear 2xl motorcycle gloves for reference) and I have never found a mouse that is comfortable for my hands. Usually my pinky finger is just awkwardly dragging the mousepad or claw gripping the mouse both of which tend to cause discomfort pretty quickly. So for now I still use the old Gigabyte Force M7 Thor mouse. I also have a Logitech G602 that I used for a while until I lost the wireless dongle which is stupidly expensive to replace so I just retired that one instead. Maybe one day I will find the perfect mouse for big hands.

I main a Viper Mini and don't see the point of swapping to the PUCS2 given the latency tradeoff, but GOD I wish Razer would update it with a better sensor. It has exceptionally bad LoD even after the firmware fixes, and the fixes for that introduce poll rate inconsistency. The sensor ring also scratches on your pad if you're the type to put and downwards pressure on the mouse. I really couldn't care less about whether or not my mouse is wireless these days, since I use a very thin bare braided wire cable which feels completely indistinguishable from wireless on even the lightest of mice. That said, because getting your hands on these cables or making them is difficult I would recommend wireless for most people.

Might check out the g303 and see if I prefer it over the Superlight

Agree i dont mind honey on top but sides got to be solid imo. Just order this and the Katana to try. Cant wait for the Viper V2. Kinda want to test out the g303 wireless just to know if I will like it or not since the gpx is still my main atm.

gave the g303 a good go, but just cant get on with it seems impossible to grip comfortably for my hands anyway, g303 rides up your hand when moving it about cause way the side is shaped just try gripping sides and doing vertical movements with it the back of it will ram into your palm and change grip its feeling so unstable having to continually readjust grip

love my wireless g pro, might try the superlight at some point. I did have an issue where my scroll wheel was extremely inconsistent. sometimes it would not scroll, sometimes too much, sometimes it would without me even touching the wheel. i opened it up, cleaned out the whole wheel part and its been perfect since. also i charge it maybe once every 1-2 weeks

How does the CoolerMaster MM720 do on latency? Its the first mouse I've had with a good sensor. I wasnt sure what to expect coming from bigger heavier mice to this little thing that weighs only 49grams but I absolutely love it. PMW3389 sensor, X AND Y DPI customization range of 200-32k (Why? lol), 400-IPS, 50g Acceleration, Sensor Angle Tuning, Angle Snapping optional, Lift Off Distance settings, only 49grams, nice bright RGB (if you're into that) and frequently on sale for around $20-25 (Amazon right now for $20). This thing has to be the budget king of gaming mice right? It even comes with extra PTFE Feet and grip tape if you require extra grip. My only complaint about it is the so-called DPI button is on the bottom of the mouse, so youll have to map that function to either one or both of your side buttons if you like to change your DPI on the fly, which can easily be done in the software, it even has the MouseCombo feature where you can assign a 2nd function to any of the buttons that is carried out by hold pressing the wheel in and then clicking the desired button, it kinda makes up for the lack of extra buttons. Oh and my only other small complaint is i like to adjust my volume levels from my mouse (I am used to having many extra buttons), and the software for this doesnt seem to have that as an option in Multimedia when assigning functions.

I am using it for already 15+ months and this mouse never dissapointed me - laser-like precision, 1:1 on screen movements, NOT A SINGLE DISCONNECT issue since I bought it, switches are insanly durable... Also, razer is probably preparing something crazy when it comes to mice, they didnt release anything "special" since viper series...

If input latency bothers you don't get the Pwnge. Waste of money not one software upgrade after about 100 usd spent. Then they announced the new mouses with newer sensors/software so it is hard not to assume they are gonna release a new model for you to buy before they update your current mouse.

i'm holding the g pro x superlight right now, i hate it. the side buttons are some of the worst. they're small, hard to notice/don't really stick out of the shell, and as a result that makes them very hard to push and hold for PushToTalk in voice. which is what i use those buttons for most of the time. other than that though, the mouse is fine, but that side button thing is a deal breaker for me.

I just went from a G502 to the G Pro wireless and might take a bit of getting used to. Glides so well in comparison. But for some reason now I can't change the sens in Apex. It won't change using the mouse buttons I've allocated to DPI in game, nor will it change when changing mouse settings...

Picked up the G305 Lightspeed for $50AUD and for the money, it's the best mouse I've had.

Did you ever try any Roccat mice? Thinking of the Kone Pure Ultra and newer Kone Pro. I tried the Razer Viper for a couple of months, but could not get comfortable with the shape, and the two buttons on the right were almost impossible to use as I could not hit them consistently cause they're too much into the body. I went back to the Kone Pure Ultra and felt right at home again right away.

Sadly nothing in there for me except the razer viper... Left handed mice are getting more and more rare. Guess ill stay with my g903 lightspeed a bit longer

Id probably skip the pwnage, I've had the RVM and didn't like it. The buttons have negative comfort grooves, I may be gripping it wrong. I don't really like the high back and sloped in sides. Haste main forever.

Any recommendation for a mouse like the G Pro but with USB-C? - I REFUSE to buy a MicroUSB mouse :) - the G303 looks promising but I don't like the shape.

Don't use Logitech Mice if you use the scroll wheel a lot in-game. When you scroll up and down rapidy the mice can't keep up with your inputs and won't register your commands. On Warzone for example, i have Primary Weapon bound to scroll Up, and secondary weapons bound to scroll down, so when you have to suddently "cancel" a weapon swap by swiping in one direction first and then the opposite direction quickly to cancel, the mouse can't keep up with your inputs and won't register what you've asked it to do. This isn't just a defective product i have either, it happens to all of their Mice that I've tried... G403... G305... G PRO Wireless Superlight and the original G Pro Wireless, it's something about the way they're all designed. No big reviewer is bringing up this issue either which is quite annoying.
